I think its a 3.5, mostly because I prefer this one over the other novel with a similar premise. Although the MC is very OP, I think he developed his techniques at a good power level instead of creating complicated techniques like alchemy when he was weak.

I also like how the federation got their comeuppance for sending over spies and planning to exploit him. He never directly harmed the federation's people lives but karma still hit the federation. He didn't go to war with them or cause mass death but... more>> the federation hurt their own people due to their own actions.

Spoiler

The people couldn't rise above a certain realm because the heart tribulation involved him. The politicians let a calamity happen because they wanted to be the vassal of a stronger race and use that to threaten MC. In the end, MC was able to collect materials from them as interest and the federation ultimately became a vassal because they kept trying to pressure him into a soul contract.

[collapse]

But its true that live stream dialogue takes up a lot of the beginning. I think its supposed to be a replacement of face slapping in cnovels so the MC can show off. It stops after MC leaves the prisoner planet. The novel does drag in the later chapters because the war campaigns and fights weren't interesting. The writing is very basic so what kept me reading was the gimmick. The MC is very OP and does encounter obstacles where he has to use his smarts but never encounters setbacks or actual danger. He handles everything very easily so its a passable wish fulfillment novel only unique because of its premise. <<less

The novel should be called "secretly live streamed cultivation".

Imagine you want to watch a stream but all you can do is read the chat explaining what's actually happening. That's the whole novel. The worst part of it all is that the chat yaps for over 50% of the chapter and they say the same thing over and over again, whether the MC is creating a new skill, whether the MC is going to teach his new skill, the experts talking about the MC's talents, the stock market surging for no... more>> reason.

It's an interesting concept and it could have been good but the author has no good ideas. <<less
