After waking from a car accident, professional esports player Ye Shaoyang found himself transmigrated into a mystifying ABO world where he was living as a noobish streamer.

In order to support himself in this new life, Ye Shaoyang decided to return to his old job and climb the ranks in the esports world. With his outstanding talent, he quickly secured a contract with a prestigious club.

But on his very first day with his new team, he unexpectedly presented as an omega right in front of the team’s captain Chi Shuo.

Chi Shuo took his new teammate to the hospital for an examination. Afterwards, the boy looked up at him with a sheen of moisture in his eyes. The corners of his eyes were red, and his voice was hoarse as he rasped, “Captain, the doctor says I’m allergic to suppressants. Can you help me?”

“…help you how?” Chi Shuo asked.

Ye Shaoyang simply turned his back to Chi Shuo. “Just give me a temporary mark. Bite me here, thanks.”

Chi Shuo’s expression gradually crumbled.

What was with this omega?! Was a mark something you could hand out so freely?!

Netizens:

[I heard Team Tianhuan’s new teammate is an omega!] [Is he going to play support? Everyone, please be sure to take care of your sweet, delicate, adorable new omega support!] That was the buzz, right up until Ye Shaoyang demonstrated his explosive prowess by single-handedly taking five kills in a competitive match.

Their opponents:

[Sweet? Delicate? This is a demon lord, isn’t it?] [He killed me enough to break my brain. I want to uninstall the game!] [Even if we lose the battle, Ye Shaoyang must die!] [Target that omega! Show no mercy!] It’s time to get to know an omega with flashy and extraordinary skills.

Who says an omega has to be sweet, delicate, and adorable? This omega has the power to blow up the whole league.

Good, entertaining read. The gist of the the plot is in the intro. MC, Ye Shaoyang, transmigrates into the ABO world as an omega. MC was a captain of an e-sports team. He recently failed to win the World Championship in his world, he wants to achieve this goal it in the new world. The plot is heavy on e-sports and light on romance... but it was still very enjoyable for me as a non-gamer. The author's writing style is concise so I could visualize the gameplay and tournament structure.

ML,... more>> Chi Shuo, is an alpha and a e-sports team captain. A decent ML who respects MC.

Spoiler

MC starts off streaming hoping to get noticed by e-sports teams. ML scouts MC into his team. On the first day of joining, MC differentiates into an omega but is also allergic to the suppressants. ML is requested by MC to provide temporary marks (biting the gland on the nape of the neck) until a suppressant can be developed for MC. MC doesn't realize that it's equivalent to a handjob in the ABO world. Hahaha!

ML marks MC and feelings begin to blossom.

They go on to win the domestic championship and then the world championship. And of course, the couple end up together with a happy ending.

It's a good novel and I really like the setting, but I think the writing is still a little bit immature/boring. There are some a little bit cringy scenes imo and I felt like they really made all the MCs a little bit too OP.

Spoiler

I'm already halfway through the novel but they still have no signs of getting together and the MC is not in "love" with the ML at all. And at chapter 127 they are still pretty much in the group stage of the championships? Some concepts also don't really make that much sense imo, especially the MVP thing. The author even acknowledges that MC can farm more MVPs because they started in the B group... I do like that most of the players are nice to each other tho and that there's a lot of friendship between most of them.

A sweet competitive gaming novel with enough gaming elements to keep the gamers among the readers satisfied. The focus of the novel as well as the focus of the main CP is mainly on striving after winning the international world cup. This is why they restrain themselves and put the emotional matters on the back burner, leading to the slow romance tag. You can also blame the MC for being slow, too, thanks to his straight man thinking that he inherited from his previous world.

But nevertheless, even when they aren't... more>> trying to show off or are even aware of their feelings, the two of them still manage to spread dog food everywhere. Be it during interviews, during live broadcasts or even during competitive games, the two will show off their tacit understanding, compatibility and mutual appreciation of each other.

I liked how different the dynamic between the main CP is from what I am used to. Unlike most BL MLs, Chi Shuo is the one with a maiden heart in the relationship, taciturn but gentle, understanding and responsible which leads to him already planning their wedding when Yangyang (MC) who is really slow still only sees him as a good buddy. Chi Shuo is also easily flustered by Yangyang's bold behavior. The stark contrast between their tacit understanding in-game and behavior of chicken talked to a duck when it comes to emotional matters is hilarious actually.

On top of that, there are also a lot of interesting side characters. I seem to be especially fond of the beta gamers, Qu Jiang and Xie Weiyu, one is slightly black-bellied while wrapped in a gentle exterior and the other is a hard-working cinnamon roll who needed a friend.

What surprised me was that it wasn't Japan that was vilified in this novel like in many other novels. In fact, Japan did not play much of a role aside from one gamer being named by name. Korea received the villain treatment instead, with their people being portrayed as arrogant and spreading propaganda to hype themselves up. At least they got more screen time than the passer-by Japanese gamers. I am not up to date with the pro gaming industry, but reading this novel, I can only assume that China lost a few too many times to Korea in real life and the author let out their frustrations using this novel. 乁| ・ 〰 ・ |ㄏ Either way, this is a light-hearted novel and a good read for those who like both gaming and BL. Even as a non-gamer I ended up enjoying it. Had to look up some gaming lingo though as there were a few terms I was not familiar with. <<less

E-sports is certainly not my favorite genre BUT this is so engrossing! I couldn't stop reading it even though it's so freaking long! In general, it's a feel-good story, no stress, just smooth sailing to the pinnacle of success; both in love and in career. Just the sort of story needed to power you through a down in the dumps kind of day. So many times, I couldn't stop grinning while reading it. ❤️

I use google translate to read directly from Chinese websites to follow the web novel for the daily updates.

I agree with most posts that this type of story is not for everyone.

The story is focused mainly on the MOBA 5v5 tower push E-Sports.

... more>> Main couple is slow build, from friends to teammates to lovers. Not smut heavy on the description but the romance is starting to mildly heat up to the latest chapter.

I actually like the side characters since this is not drama base story. These characters are more like the peanut gallery.

I actually like the game play aspect mixed in the ABO universe. Very progressive world in dealing with the heats and ruts with some light tropes sprinkled in. Not as heavy handed as some other ABO novels. <<less

I rarely wait for an update when I read some novels and just go directly to read another one not hoping for any translation or progress in the previous novel that I’ve read BUT THIS! This novel is different, I’m always waiting for an update because the story got me hooked and the fact that I only have some vague ideas about gaming, is a proof how well written this novel is!

The plot involves the common trope of transmigration but undeniably unique at the same time. The characters are defined... more>> and the best thing is the background characters are not cardboards either, even other teams are described and given a proper amount of attention without diverting from the main characters. I even feel nervous about the reactions of other top teams (locally and internationally) as if I was in the same universe but I always look forward to the progress of our main team and how they interact with other teams because their reactions are also hilarious but at the same time is also a proof of the progress of our main team.

Though I would not write some spoilers, I would just want to recommend this novel, because this is a must read! This definitely is in my top 10 BL novels easily.

I was definitely shocked when I clicked on my bookmarks and I can’t access the chapter list, I thought there was something wrong about my browser but it turns out the site crashed so I will just patiently wait for it to be fixed because I can’t wait to find out what happens in the tournament ;) <<less

Although it's ABO, the story did not heavily focus on it. At some point, I almost forgot that it's an ABO world Lol

The romance is slow as stated in the tags. But it's still sweet (I love noth MC and ML).

For the game elements, it's similar to other MOBA games. The author did great at describing the characters and skills so even if you're new to games, it won't confuse you. All in all, the novel is great ☺️

P.S. I really love the author. There's almost no cliffhanger as of... more>> now. The author will end a round/game in a chapter or 2 (the story updates 2 chapters) so you will not wait for results ❤️ <<less

Be warned. I don't know for others, but this is an awfully slow romance for me. I can't believe I had to wait for 50 chapters before we got to the sypnosis. But it's not necessarily a bad thing. It was cute, humorous and worth it when you got to that part. Anyway, the omegaverse is just a subgenre. I think this is the most casual & light-hearted omegaverse I've ever read which is refreshing.
Spoiler

no r*pes, no-careless-heat/susceptibility-period-that-lead-to-attacking-because-they-forgot-their-suppresants-trope. No discriminations of second genders, the system is organized and everyone is CIVIL

[collapse]

Also, it's more focused on e-sports and intricacies of in-game details. It's a bit similar to God Level Summoner, where both MC are close to age of retirement, started from scratch while vying for world championship and both MC and ML had a deep, incomparable tacit understanding.

If there's one thing I'm a bit concerned about is that the MC is super OP. Well, it's quite typical for e-sports protagonist but allow me to let out my sentiments.
Spoiler

I get that the MC had accumulated experience from his past life, but at what age did he die? Isn't he just also at his 20s? If we're only basing it from that then he's also just at the same level with other pro veteran players, in terms of age, training and professional experience, but why does the author make it seem like he has a lifetime experience? Why was he able to master a newly released character & top the nationals in just a span of week (idk, it might be even 3 days) with 98% win streaks, when the others couldn't? Even if it's both MOBA games, there should still be differences with the game map and heroes build up right? Why was their skills gap too big? I get it if he's really a born genius/prodigy BUT despite other characters saying so, we all know that the trick behind that is he transmigrated and just like any other e-sports player, he managed to do all these through hard work. With their gap so big, does it mean the others doesn't work as hard as him, or the others just plainly suck? His OPness isn't entirely unjustified, but it isn't quite realistic either. I'm not angry, perhaps I just want to see a few losing battles for a change

[collapse]

Well other than that, it's a fine read especially for e-sports lovers. Hope we finally get more interactions from ML and MC on later chapters *cross fingers*

3.5/5. Kudos to the translation team for their quick and quality updates (ratings subject to change)

I've MTL'ed up to the latest chapter, though I will still read the translation. This novel is so fun, and I love the MC. He could really make the ML flustered.

The romance have not grown too much, but I love how the MC bully other players. Definitely a 5 for me for as far as I read, still waiting for the upcoming chapters~

Waiting for new translated chapters... MTLs are also okay, but I don't know where to read them (>︿<。) anyone know where to find them?

I SO SO SOOO LOVE THIS! I love E-sports stories as much as A/B/Os. It's not like the others where it's straight love at first sight but admiration for his talent then the feelings follow after many chapters! It's perfect! I LOVE IT! MUST READ!MUST READ! MUST READ!

This is an early review so my rating and opinion might change later on, but the story is very good so far. The MC transmigrates into an ABO world and tries becoming a pro gamer, which at first might seem pretty boring to people who aren't esports readers but don't be dissuaded. The descriptions of the game (which is like League of Legends) is very well done, and great for beginners of the genre. Even when there's just pages of MC playing games, I'm never bored because of how well... more>> it's written. The romance hasn't exactly begun yet, but the progression between the MC and ML is refreshing. They take a long time to get familiarized with each other, and their relationship is very natural. Even if you don't typically like esports, you should give this novel a try.

edit: It seems like the previous translator's site went down and all of the previous translations have been lost. Hopefully there will be someone willing to retranslate this novel, because I hope to be able to read it again. <<less

So far, I'm liking this. A calm and straight forward MC, which is also very adorable. I enjoy his dissing in the game, it's so chill but savage and those smiley emoticons, he is driving other crazy ahahahahahahah! Cannot wait to see more of this.

Also. The translator alone deserves 5 stars. Imagine how happy I am to wake up everyday knowing there is a new chapter uploaded, it gives me the will to live. I read most of their work and it's the reason I started this, and I was... more>> right about it. Thank you.〈3 <<less

This esports abo novel is quite cute.

It’s an esports novel so you can’t rlly expect a lot from the plot. The whole abo part with the marking was quite entertaining.

I would say as a person who doesn’t know a thing abt lol and similar games, the detailed telling of the games got a bit boring at times.

... more>> Imo there were too many games that were written in too much detail.

The love story however was quite sweet and there weren’t any annoying moments. It did feel more secondary tho so it was a bit disappointing.

All in all I would say this is a pretty sweet esports novel which has an almost subplot like romance. <<less

I absolutely love this novel! The translation was still ongoing and I had to read the rest through MTL while waiting for translation to be completed but I still love it over all! It's such a fun read and was a really nice concept. The gaming matches were also detailed and thrilling I can visualize it in my head. The characters are loveable, not only the main ones but also the sides. I'd love to reread this again once the translation for the rest of chapters were done.

I liked it, it was an overall well thought through story. A 4 almost feels too high but I feel like 3 is too low so I went with 4 cuz I liked the gaming aspect a lot. I think I'd give it a solid 7/10.

The pacing got weird and slow towards the end and I found myself skimming though some of the chapters towards the end. The confession was also kinda disappointing considering how long it took, it was upsetting or annoying me but I also kinda like... more>> wasnt reading the story for the romance anymore at that point.

The game itself is actually well thought through and though I came for the romance I stayed for the competition element. Its not as in depth as an actual E-sports story would be and honestly quite unrealistic in some elements but as an E-sports fan its not bad, the author is probably a fan too.

If you are looking for a good romance I'd say find smth better to read cuz this ain't it, in fact I felt like the romance actually reduced the overall quality for me. It made me feel like the author forgot that this is teqnically a romance novel and by the end of this story theres meant to be a couple, it was like competition followed by random fluff that felt out of place. Dont forget the (unnecessary) obligatory child at the end cuz its an omegaverse (though I personally prefer omegaverses without kids or the ones where the kids are there cuz it makes sense not just 'men can get preggo so why not make em preggo')

If u wanna are interested in this story, I'd say go for it. Me down talking the romance for a paragraph makes it seem like I didn't like this story but I do and I would recommend it overall.

On a random side note the way the relationship was revealed to the fans annoyed me in ways I didnt know I could be. I honestly have no idea why either it was just soo s*upid I think? Tbh idek y, maybe its just me. I just remember taking a break from reading it after cuz I was soo mad, it was a visceral reaction I dont understand <<less
