first, I noticed that when the MC was in a relationship with ML 1, he doesn't seem to be too into it. Like, ML 1 was quite forward and very affectionate but it wasn't until much much later that MC starts to think "hmmm, maybe I should also be affectionate". Idk it just seems like he doesn't like ML 1 much.

I also noticed that the MLs often forced MC into intimacy and relationship, like ML 1 even manipulated (I guess?) MC to date him and ML 2 forcefully kissed him and it was stated that the MC felt disgusted

MC also cheats on the ML 1 that he first dated with ML 2 that forcefully kissed him. Basically at that time MC was dating ML 1 and then ML 2 came and kissed him forcefully (again) and from what I've read it seems like MC only put up a token fight.

AND AS IF THATS NOT ENOUGH MC also did the do with ML 2 and ML 3 who is a student council president WHILE HE'S STILL DATING ML 1!! There's a lot I can handle but cheating is not one of them. Sure, you can say that the MC was drugged and MC and ML 2 did it to save him from the effects of the drugs BUT COULDNT MC JUST ASK ML 2 TO SEND HIM TO THE HOSPITAL?? And how are you gonna counter his entanglement with ML 3?? Like he's not drugged nor drunk at the time. And even if he is forced, he still could've just put up a better fight, it's literally stated that he "became weak" when the pleasure came. Like??? Multiple times I want to jump in there, grab his collar to ask him, "did you forget you're in a relationship currently???". Like, it's fine having ambiguous relationship with all of them as long as he was single BUT HE WAS IN A RELATIONSHIP???

and the kidnapping act?? Like I'm fine with some but the kidnapping in this novel is so irritatingly cliché I just hate it. I also really, really hate the fact that the writing made it seem as if the kidnapper is also going to be a ML. He literally only kidnaps the MC because his younger brother likes ML 2. Like it's fine if the kidnapper was already in love with MC and was kidnapping him because his brother ask to AND because he's in love with MC but he doesn't even have any feelings for MC

Throughout the novel, he is the only ML that the MC consented to sleeping with and outright confessed to without being uncertain or under pressure. The story makes it known that amongst the MLs, only his existence was special to the MC, and the MC acknowledges it.

Someone tells him know that the world he's living in is not a novel, but his own reality. And the decision he make will affect his reality and his future. After which he no longer pay mind to Bai Xiyu and properly lives his school life.

1. 1. Shao Heng - the hot-tempered spoiled idiot type. Your typical tyrant school bully. His daddy's got money so he can do whatever he wants. You know the ones you read a lot in shoujo manga (think Boys Over Flower). Out of all the MLs, he's the one with the most character development and the most fleshed out character. I can actually see the development of his feeling. He's forceful but in an immature way so he ended up being the ML I liked the most (which isn't saying much).
   2. Ji Huaisi - the 1st MLs foil. I'd describe him as the gentle manipulative two-face type. I'm actually not sure why he fell for the MC because it seems he liked him from the get-go. I know he explained why but it just sounded more like "you complimented me when we first met so I started paying attention to you, " which is weird because he's apparently super popular so I doubt he's lacking in genuine compliments. He started his manipulation early and actually got the BF status (compared to everyone else). He gave me the ick. Yes, he's gentle and helps the MC a lot, but he's very fake and uses the MC's confusion and guilt a lot to get his way. A master manipulator. Even when he's being remorseful, it felt like he was still trying to manipulate the MC using his guilt (the fact he was cheating basically through the whole relationship).
   3. Wen Chuan - He's the broody, emo, had a hard life type. I can see him developing feelings since the MC did show him kindness while he was all alone and stuff. They developed a friendship so I can see it turning into love. Generally, not a bad character but definitely friend-zoned until he started making moves. Gives typical 2nd ML vibes in other novel
   4. Shen Shu Ting (or something like that) - OCD, stoic, clean freak, prince type. The most forceful out of the bunch. He went from "don't touch me" to "let's have s*x" real quick. It's like whiplash. His possessiveness came out of nowhere. And I know the author tried really hard to justify the change but I don't buy it. And the things he did were just downright s*xual harassment/r*pe.
   5. Bai Yinan - mature CEO type. Not much screen time but you can tell he's interested, which, once again, makes little sense. His younger brother (the ogVillian) gets a heart attack after being stimulated by the MC and now he's kinda interested. His brother kidnaps MC and now he's really interested. Make it make sense.

1. 1. Shao Hang had a fight with his old man and refuses to apologize. For whatever reason, his dad thought if he threatens the MC into talking to Sheng Hao, it'll make him apologize for his mistake. First of all, why is the apology even necessary? Just cut the kid off from his lavish lifestyle and he'll crawl back eventually. Second of all, how is the MC talking to him going to change anything especially when you're threatening the kid? Anyhow, the two runs away from home, and get this, uses the ML's credit card to go on some shopping spree. I'm not even kidding. You run away from an irate father to then use his money to buy stuff. Why his credit card wasn't frozen is beyond me. How he wasn't caught right away when he's using a credit card is beyond me. And after this nothing happens. Like they all literally go back to their normal life as if none of this happened. No repercussions, no mention of the dad again, and no change in status quo.

1. 1. Wen Chuan is the illegitimate son of some rich dude and is getting recognized at a big party. In front of everyone, he rejects his father saying he won't become a part of the family or whatever. His father was upset and had some men go find him. Somehow only the MC finds him and they have some talk. It's honestly a blur and I don't even remember how the night ended. Again, nothing happens. They all go back to school the next couple days as if the whole situation never happened. So you're telling me, after humiliating his rich father in front of everyone, he was able to continue in his rich school without any repercussions.

He keeps saying he's going to stay out of everyone's business because he doesn't want to get involved with the plot of the original story. But he sticks himself in all sorts of s*upid situation and can't say no to anything. He tells himself he's going to reject all the advances from the various MLs but "felt guilty" when he does so he ends up doing stuff he "doesn't want." And I put that in quotation marks because when he gets forcefully kissed or hugs or more, he always say some things like "his brain froze" when it's happening or "he didn't dislike it" after it happened. So on the one end he doesn't want it, but then he allows it to happen again and again without any resistance. I had to keep checking myself that I'm victim-blaming but it's so hard. It's really frustrating. He only showed disgust and resistance at the beginning. By the halfway mark it's all just dubcon and him saying he doesn't want the attention but doing everything in contradiction of it. Worst of all is his inability to communicate. He rather avoid the problem then actually share the problem which is why I say he cheated a lot. During his short relationship with Ji Huasi, he was kissed, groped, and did other fun stuff by other ML but never once told his BF and never apologized.

I'm a bit of a dubcon fan, so I do enjoy the MLs being a little pushy with MC, but if thats not your slice of cake, don't read this as almost every ML forced themselves onto the MC

Plot twist was crazy though I honestly didn't see it coming, wish ogMC also joined the harem : (he's the perfect amount of crazy, even if he tried to kill MC, you can't have everything tho

upto where i've read the red hair changes a bit still got the temper but like better than before he even changes his hair color for the MC and I don't like the president he just assumes everything is MCs fault and not the mls I like the vice president and the quiet one they're really nice with mc
