Main World:

The leads were living in modern world. Theu were lovers (childhood sweethearts scheduled to be married) with FL being scientist while ML was a general. However, envious people plotted accident resulted to his coma. FL used her inventions/system to travel consciousness on different worlds... to trigger brain waves of ML and helped him wake up.

the first bit of the book is okay. Honestly I won’t lie. I really always felt like kicking the OG ML and OG FL.

but their drama can only go on long enough. No? You know, I wouldn’t be complaining if the author hadn’t completely misled us. Yeah!

so clearly, the mission goal was to live her life and fall in love with the second male lead.

but the plot only focused on her torturing the OG ML and OG FL like they had no aura’s at all.

that matter with the tree at the beginning was dragged out for the entire plot, literally. And the arc was so f*cking long I kept thinking that maybe the extra 20 something chapters were for us to see the FL finally grab the second male lead but nope! Nahhh.

We just continue to think about the tree and the tree became a tree and continued to tree! Jesus!

the true definition of never letting anyone forget anything yeah!

that’s okay, because, who doesn’t like a little smack as they wait for the full course. Right?

So I was finally really thrown off by her paintings. I mean!!! Are people around them s*upid or something? So when the OG FL is put up a shameless gold digger (which is a perfectly fine occupation- point of information) the whole world gangs up against her and comes up with the worst speculations.

then when our FL shows a few paintings- the world is suddenly naive. They believe everything and hate the OG FL even more.

i mean, they are just paintings, not the real thing. She could have made them up. And I’m not saying it wasn’t the truth, because it was, but why would people so easily believe and start to gang up against OG fl. I don’t like her either but the only people she had were the OG ML and his father.

I think that was the point when our fl’s Mary Sue started to rare her o! so big head.

yes! FL goes on to be successful and everything. But the full course meal 😪 it never came!! 😭

Let me tell you, the OG ML and second ML are completely alike. Cold and detached and everything. It’s just that the OG ML got exposed in the worst way.

the love between the two- we don’t even see it develop. We just hear about it like as if we were sneaking a peek through a hazy window or trying to use antenna to receive the lost signals.

they end up together, but it’s just in a horribly bland way. I can’t be moved to read the next arc.

I’ve had more feelings for random character 234 in any f*cking random book than I have ever had for this second male lead.

believe me, if you can feel the chemistry between the two, you’re truly a magical creature.

1st the first acr was enjoying ngl. But it was mentioned by the FL that as they jump worlds it would become much harder, But I disagree. I feel like the first world was harder that the other. The author gave his/her full amount of attention to the first world, meh'd the 2nd, got interested again in the third and fourth, then gave up on the 5th and just gave them a happy ending just to say the author finished the book. The ending was so adrupt.

I feel like the focus on this novel was not obtained, she was more on focused on her transmigration instead of helping the male lead. But idk since the FL said it was alright and with their love for each other he would wake up lol.

Lastly the author was verrryy hard on fat shaming. On the 4th arc they kept on saying that FL was so fat when infact she was just 70kg. Assuming as a Chinese woman she would be tall. Her height would be appropriate for her weight, yes she could be chubby but it doesn't affect your image that much. But no, they like skinny. As someone who was fat shamed and body shamed from when I was little, these stories and point of view is not very supporting, it just makes me remember the days where I would loathe my self when people take pictures of me when infact I was not even overweight, I was just being compared to the skinny girls since I was the only one who had a little meat on me. It just makes me sad because I have missed so many memories that I could've been in because I always think I looked fat and disgusting. So please to anyone who wants to write something similar. Avoid shaming please, it just creates negativity instead of motivation.

World 1 - It's the story of old love. MC's father had a first love he couldn't forget. His first love died and entrusted him to raise her daughter aka the Female Lead. So the father treated his first love's daughter even better than his own daughter and paired her up with his own son. The MC is younger sister of the Male Lead and the daughter of this s*umbag father who got severe mistreatment from them after the FL appear.

World 2 - Showbiz arc - The male lead got turned into a dog and met the female lead who is an assistant of a talentless star. After the ML turned back to human, he helped the FL become famous actress and discard that talentless star. The MC transmigrated into that star and turned things around. This arc is quite hilarious.

World 3 - Ancient world x Real vs Fake daughters - The female lead of this world was the real daughter of a noble family that got switched at birth with a peasant family. She was also reborn as she wasn't satisfied with her first life. The MC became the fake daughter but the story got so many twists and turns.

Like Shao Ke forever remaining in a dogs body and being ab*sed by Jian Linlin in the second world. Or when some characters die miserably.

She kept emphasizing on working hard to change her life when she has the gold finger of entering a dimension where time stops for her so she could train longer than anyone else. Found that super hypocritical tbh. Also she said people should stop browsing the China equivalent of Insta/FB, shopping, waste time etc if they want ways to improve themselves. Like... I just want to spend some me-time reading stories I love, and relax. Huo Wei makes it sound as if those irrelevent activities are not condusive to improving oneself. She's so workaholic that I kinda hate it. Makes me feel ugh.

That is, in the first world they fall in love quickly, but in the others it takes longer, and the romance part is also kind of put on the back burner and more attention is paid to the story line than the romance. Which is fine, but definitely doesn't fit my definition of early romance in stories.
