I quite enjoyed this story

It was a typical zombie apocalypse setting. Gathering resources, planning, waiting for the apocalypse, ability users, upgrading. MC and ML were really OP and high profile, building their own base.

... more>> Not everyone will like MC/ML. MC is very arrogant and too OP. From his background to how he behaves himself during the apocalypse. ML is smitten with MC and follows what he wants. I didn't mind. It's just a story ;)

My only complaint is that everything went so smoothly and the abrupt ending. I understood that author had to wrap it up because of family circumstances. The story is more or less not finished. <<less

I like how the novel started.

The plot is amazing. Full of fighting and blood since its an apocalypse.

Both MC and ML are ruthless and cold blooded because of the setting but I just felt that MC is soft too much towards ML. I think his image that should be portrayed as loving couple become exaggerated. Don't know if only I think about it.

I also felt that there was something missing in the ending. All in all, I still enjoy reading it.

There were a couple of chapters I found quite boring to read but the overall satisfaction I had was still ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Kudos!

I love-hate this novel. I am not a fan of the tsundere character so I sometimes got very annoyed with the MC especially when it came to matters of intimacy. That said, I liked the plot and the machinations. I also liked that the author didn't tie everything in a neat little bow. The romance was frustrating during the first half, but it was fulfilling in the latter half.

All in all, this novel is worth reading.

I originally wanted to give this a 5 star but the abrupt ending disappoints me... Because I feel like there should be more to the story as there are a lot of things in the story that haven't been cleared up yet. There's a lot of things that I want to know more and see how are they doing in their base cuz it haven't been highlighted yet.

I could say that don't mind the reviews too much as we all have different insights in this story but I'll still put... more>> some pointers as guidance if this thing is your thing or irritates you...

• There's a lot of part in the story that's cruel as they easily kill other people off or use them as bait (our MC and main gang never sacrificed their own team mates so rest assured)
• But isn't that how human is? They will do anything to survive even if they have to sacrifice and use other's life
• It takes like 30 (?) Chapters before the beginning of the apocalypse so bare with it with MC's preparations
• What makes me at ease is that no one died among the named characters in the gang and instead they became even better
• Bai Jing's character setting and personality is consistent and he's well fleshed out even if he's not a typical saint in this type of stories
• World building is great as I can imagine how the world inside this novel works and author didn't shy away with some details even if it's only little
• Every character around MC and ML are fleshed out and have their own unique personality even tho I sometimes mixed up the names haha

• The development and relationship of our leads are harmonious and they trust each other to the point that they didn't stop the other when going to dangerous situations. Jealousy can't be avoided but they are still reasonable and doesn't appear to be too obsessed with each other
• Too bad JingJing's space didn't get elaborated because of the abrupt ending
• It's also disappointing that we didn't get to see the development of their base and more heart warming build ups

There are couple of inconsistencies but really minor.

A lot of people seem to complain that MC turned b!/$y after the biggining of the apocalypse. I actually found it the most realistic part. Once your safety is assured why not act willfully in this environment - especially since this was MCs personality before. It's rather refreshing to have an MC who is just not that bright or nice for that matter.

I would like for the extra chapter to show Jing Sa city a couple of years into the future.

I love this novel. It started with our MC being reborn then getting ready to meet the ML. Our ML was someone he can't let go because in our MC's past life, our ML died saving him so now he was trying to make the ML's life in the apocalypse better. It's full of warmth and feelings like how our ML and MC got into relationships and how our MC's obssesion in ML turned into real love when he was enlightened.

10/10!!!! Beautifully written plot and the dialogue left me dying in laughter.

Too bad it ended so abruptly. I liked where the last extra was leading. Another zombie apocalypse novel done. It is not my favorite but it was entertaining enough. I felt that the MC hate schemers to the bone maybe because they share this trait with his father.

I can't fall in love with the character

The plot are quite nice, but sadly I dislike the characters personality

ML also need to threaten MC to agree becoming lover, MC reluctantly agree lol

Another one, the ML men dislike MC, and MC men dislike the ml, just because they think their boss are too good for ml/MC, they even talk rudely/disrespect, like wtf lol, hate much?

One of the MC men, hate the ML because he think being gay is not good (but he's gay himself???), he blame the ML because he is the reason MC become bend, he also sometimes try to separate MC and ml, he also too kind? Kind is kind, but he is the dumb s*upid kind of kindest, makes their team into lots of trouble, which makes his lover trying to cover for him lots of time, so many times, and still doesnt effing learn. He also blame his lover for bending him, lmao?? It takes 2 person to be in love, not 1

If you enjoy a good strategy/simulation game, then this novel is just uber satisfying. The way Bai Jing stocks up on supplies, levels up, and basically grinds his way to being OP with his past-life cheat is *chef's kiss*. There's no major conflict or struggle, but it was just really enjoyable seeing this power couple smash through obstacles and their cute interactions with each other. And the writing is good.

I would have liked an epilogue or something.

Wow!! A definite TOP read!!!! I love how the MC and ML are different from each other however completely complement against each other. For me, its very satisfying to see that both the ML and MC are ruthless and cruel on other people but relied on each other and does not hesitate to be lovey dovey at all times (HOHOOH POWER COUPLE)

The ML is OP for his cold and stoic temperament with overbearing strength. MC is OP in terms of wealth and connections with very petty cute temperament LOL.... more>> This story mainly focused on face-slapping revenge and changing of everyone's character overtime during the apocalypse before and after MC's rebirth. Other characters are also good and displayed many roles and emotions in the story which made it more wholesome...

Although, the ending was seemed a bit rushed???.... there are still some loopholes too. I wish for YangJin's zombie life story could also be published and be made into a novel LOL. <<less

I already read this story before and I still loved it! ;) I love how black-bellied MC and ML are. (´∀`).. Esp MC. I like the twists and turns that made the characters more bad-ass and I like the ending.. Where the main characters had their own little piece of paradise amidst the apocalypse. （＾ω＾）

This is one of those stories that I like to read repeatedly. It has a decent storyline and doesn't have weird story twists. There is a romantic element. The protagonist is able to protect himself and think about the best interest of others while thinking things through.

It's too bad the ending it's abrupt. Apparently the author has circumstances that can't be ignored.

But I like the settings. The characters are pretty consistent and the only downside like I said its an abrupt ending. So a lot of characters introduced and some characters from the beginning couldn't be either fleshed out or have a chance to be reunited or what happen to them are unknown.

It's actually pretty good if in the future the author decided to continue it would be a sequel.

I recommend it if you're looking for something light to read of a BL zombie genre. There was not much suspense because the the MC is pretty OP. The romance is also there and it won't take too long for them to get together.

The only thing that bothers me is both of them are moving large group of people and there was almost no casualty, which is why I felt like this is really light. It also doesn't have a heavy plot.

I don't think it has an abrupt ending too... more>> because it did end of them coming back to where their territory is. The ending almost signify the start of their new beginning instead, but I wish the author at least write another extra story of maybe finding some kind of cure or how can they plant again.

Overall, I still recommend it if you're looking for a short read that doesn't have too much ups and down. <<less

anyways, I do feel that some of the negative reviews are a bit exaggerated. The story's quite alright, except for that rushed ending. It would've been better if it was more thoroughly explained. The story would've been much more exciting. ML is the typical ML type and MC is a tiny bit s*upid, but it really isn't unbearable. Its' a bit cute. MC and ml's relationship is pretty wonderful though.

Truly a really good novel with a decent character development and world building. The last chapter (extra III) is so cute as well I really feel for him ?
