This time the love of first sight was finally explained. Dearest Author please if you are reading this, I don't mind another book about their past life. Though I'm glad the rebirth is so worth it for them! This is not only second chance for Meng Ting and Yan Sui but also to everyone around them.

Yan Sui was scared when he was told he didn't met Meng Ting in his past life. Not knowing they're meant to be together from the start. They were given a chance to start again, to begin their love in most beautiful way. The title is Beloved Marriage in High Society. Because they were linked together because of the marriage arrangement in high society in purpose of gaining power and all. But if you read the last part, Yan Sui properly propose to Meng Ting in their last life, this with his knowledge of Meng Ting's real identity and how he is actually a young master.

Both of their lives was somehow ruined because of them being born in high society especially Meng Ting but both of them uses their status and power to protect the person they loved the most.
This is also the first time a MC rebirth without him having information. He was isolated and the only way they gained information is from the rebirth villain but obviously he ruined his chance and became the biggest weapon for Yan Sui (he's already powerful in the story, he has setbacks but he is not afraid of any of them, that's why he's one of my favorite ML) while Meng Ting although loves his real family and didn't accept them at first but he knows he needs them to protect Yan Sui. (Some might hate his character but I love him so much. He is what I aspire to be. He knows what exactly he has to focus on instead of getting revenge and overthinking things. That's why the rebirth villain ruined his second chance while Meng Ting didn't. Even though he never has any advantage as a rebirth person.)

The rebirth villain is just a tool here for Meng Ting and Yan Sui to meet each other earlier!

Some might think Meng Ting is useless. Obviously he is not! He may not be like a scheming all, but his character is one of the best in this story. He is strong, he is not complicated, he is also talented, he is innocent, but he also knows how to protect himself. He may be slow in some aspect but he is sharp and his intuition is crazy, that once Yan Sui admitted even him didn't noticed at all.

There is one scene in the story where Yan Sui described Meng Ting perfectly. We all know how he is perfect for Yan Sui who has complex personality.

If I remember correctly not once Yan Sui viewed Meng Ting as different unlike all the characters in the story, even his real family whenever they noticed his behavior or the way he speak.

Yan Sui sees Meng Ting as someone who is special enough to make him to do thing he had never done. He finds Meng Ting's action and words powerful, that him, probably as someone who will never be moved, find it so fascinating. Even in their past life, even though Meng Ting was in coma and after he woke up. He simply loves him and only sees the good thing about Meng Ting. That's why he never address any short comings about Meng Ting because in his heart it never existed.

(May his kind of love find me, someone who loves you the way you are without hurting you for making you feel there is something wrong with you. That just like Meng Ting always saying he is s*upid and slow as negative way to describe himself but not once Yan Sui agreed to it. He never said "you are slow but I love you." It is only "I love you" and that should be more than enough.)

For me, the love and first sight didn't happen. They might have forgotten how they met in their past life but the feelings remained in their heart. For me, their timing is perfect in their first life and how they met and fell in love and was only fortunately given a chance to start again to save the people around them so they could have a more peaceful years of loving each other.

Additionally, for those who felt uncomfortable due to their age gap. Take note that Meng Ting is a rebirth person, if my math is correct (Please don't mind me I forgot their exact age) Meng Ting should already be an adult in his 30s or late 20s. He is adult who already experienced being in adult world and he is capable of making matured decision. That's why when in his rebirth, he wants to change because his path before lead him to his dead. (That's why his requirements is so simple but honestly if I were to be given a chance like him I would do the same thing.)

Meng Ting is an adult in mind and heart. They are both in their 30s if we consider all the factors. The concern will only matter if Yan Sui is the one who got rebirth as we all know he is already in his 40s when he met the 30s Meng Ting in their past life. Imagine pairing a 40 years old and 18 years old especially one with Meng Tings condition. That's for me will also make me uncomfortable but in this story it should not be the case.

That's all but the only thing I can say for last, Meng Ting and Yan Sui deserves all the love!

Mostly Yan Sui's family... wow are they angst and convoluted impersonated at times... but also can't forget Su something that feels like it's his right to be married to Yan Sui because he was last life

Yan Sui realizing that love alone will not solve all of Meng Ting's psychological issues and from the beginning start planning to have him see someone when he's more settled, since a lot of changes at once might be too much.

Where do you get off being upset that Meng Ting doesn't like you? Besides the fact that he doesn't like any of the Meng family, your literal first reaction to meeting him was to flirt! Despite that you're at least partially blood related!

I actually cried when Meng Ting finally reunited with his Loving Biological Family. Mostly on the part where he comfort his mom.

In the extra, we can see their first life. Even though Yan Sui got married with a cannon fodder aka Su Siyu, but in the end, he met Meng Ting, rescuing him, waiting for him to wake up in two years. He seemed can't get why he wait and care about Meng Ting in the beginning.

Meng Ting finally met with his family. He couldn't get why he accept his mother's hand, didn't reject when he was being embraced by her, and how he didn't want to see her crying. He didn't hate his family after being told by Yan Sui that they really loved him. They also didn't force him to go back with them (except his Grandpa after they met at Yan Sui's birthday party).

I'm really glad that even in the bad end in the first life, they still found each other.
