Hari, a destitute girl, got adopted by Duke Ernst at 7 years old when she lost her mother, as the Ernsts had themselves lost their youngest daughter Arina and sought Hari due to her resemblance to the late girl. Even though she received all kinds of persecution by the three Ernst sons in 20 years of life at the Ernst estate, she could finally escape that blood-and-tear inducing life when she was about to get married.

But what is this?
When I woke up from my sleep, I’m back to that hellish childhood! Is this a dream?!

Hmph. If I can’t wake up from this dream, I’ll at least live without too much consideration for others now!

If the story was better translated I might have rated it higher. There are two translators for the series, but neither of them is good. You will get the gist of the story, but no nuance. Kudos for the effort though. I alternated a bit and overall I think Plooky is better.

The story is not amazing, but quite nice. It isn’t entirely a cliche, with some decent twists on the usual formula, though some of the twists go nowhere and are bizarre and highly disturbing if you think about them,... more>> see major spoilers below.

I don’t mean the “in*est”. in*est wise, I would say it doesn’t really exist here, though (minor spoiler) :

it is a bit creepy the MC keeps calling Eugene “Brother” both in private and public even after they become a couple. The explanation it is “less embarrassing“ is bonkers.

a. There was a dark twist where it was revealed the mother was mentally unstable and was actually poisoning the ML for unclear reasons. Much worse though, the Duke was fine with it. He wasn’t actively participating, but didn’t want to inconvenience his mad wife just because it would kill the adopted daughter he supposedly “loved”.

b. This was resolved via a single off screen conversation between the 12 year old Eugene and his horrible parents. This makes it somehow worse. Kudos to Eugene I guess.

c. All of this is later ignored and the parents become “great” and the MC never learns of this... presumably she only survived the first time because someone killed her parents before they were done poisoning her. This whole happy ending story is made possible by the fact someone mu*dered her insane parents. Just think about it.

I really like the MC and the ML. There was no added drama to prevent them from being together once they realized that their feelings were the same. My favorite character has to be Cable 😂

I liked the story so far.... The emotional way the author narrated the story is so beautiful... It teared me up at some instances... like when the three brothers accept Hari as their sister and started to love her... Its a beautifully narrated tale.... The art is also amazing... The way she calls her brothers oppa some times is so sweet... especially when it comes to cabel.... Apart from his childhood.... When he grew up.. he always loves to be with hari and loves her praises alot.... its sooo sweet... more>> to see their brother and sis relation....

My only disappointment is that hari eventually forgot about enrich.... I felt very bad for him... As he was always crippled by his loneliness and all...

Also I hope that the author is not trying to develop a romantic relationship between eugene nd hari.... Cuz even though they aren't blood related.... they're supposed to be bro nd sis after those long sibling years.... I hope the feelings of eugene for hari are just cuz of brotherly relation....

Apart from these few flaws.... The story is pretty awesome.... Give it a try.... U'll luv it... Thnks for reading... Take care.. <<less
