Chu Yu was good-looking and had a good family background. Despite being male and an irredeemable slacker, he was still elected as Jianing Private School’s school flower by an overwhelming number of votes.

one of my all time absolute favorite modern romance danmei.

CHARACTERS:

flowery, beautiful, shou and cold, pessimistic, and obsessive gong.

... more>> They were a pairing who seem out of tune at first, but later they come together and make the most beautiful melody.

I'd describe them as a torn music score, where another half is required to make it complete and beautiful.

The gong was suffering from self-hatred and depression, and the shou helped him feel worthy and clean. The shou was lacking love and the gong made him feel it.

Starting from dislike, to friendship, to companionship and then love, accompanied by deeply rooted obsession. A complicated, yet somehow simple relationship where they slowly learn to accomplish eachother in their lives and be eachother's pillar of support. A fairy love with realistic undertones.

The characters, including the supporting one's are reckless yet restrained, realistic yet filled with idealism

The portrayal of mental illness is beautiful too. The feelings are vivid and real. <<less

At this moment I'm strongly hovering between 4-5 stars. It's definitely worth the positive reviews especially for a novel that's currently sitting at 31 chapters.

I will be keeping constant tabs on the updates because it's truly a hidden gem. The translation is also great so no, I also won't be indulging in mtls ^^

I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!

The tension between the two of them makes me so satisfied like ughh!! My heart clenches everytime they get close to each other.

The way the novel just satisfied my imaginations had me in nosebleed 😍

it's just that the seggs action weren't written in detail and the ending left me screaming in despair because of the cliffhanging style, I wanted to know more about their life and what happens if CY's family meet LS? What about their future? Their university life? I want to read moreeeeee 😭 I can't find any novels like this with such a good idea of vampirism, damn it🤧

I really love the interactions between MC and ML, they depend on each other. The vampire part became the secret that tied both of them *sweet and sexy _ (:3 」∠) _

I don't want to spoil so I only have three words,

"Go read this! " It's worthwhile and beautiful❤

I MTL-ed this because I can't resist the urge, but the MTL-ed version is quite easy to read.

For me it's 10/5 stars (just my vulnerable cup of tea) 🍵

I love this story. There's nothing much to critic other than what the rest of the comments have said. On the other hand, I really enjoy the possessiveness of the ML towards the MC. What I like the most is how sensual? The story is. There is no pa pa pa scene but it still feel sexy for some reasons. Countless times I stop reading for a while and just took a damn breath. The MTL is fairly understandable and can be enjoyed. I do recommend people to read this... more>> novel. <<less

I loved this story so much, I couldn’t help but wanting more after the last chapter. You would think the story would fall into the typical pure/innocent MX and dark/possessive ML, but it does such a great job of subverting those tropes by making them more complex and compelling. I wanted to root for ML the whole time, and I was glad that they found each other.

I really enjoyed this even though there were some plot holes and it could’ve been narrated smoother to be better, but it was good! The plot holes were how somehow MC got injured even though he’s a vamp who heals quickly, and ML who MC could’ve healed his wounds didn’t as if he didn’t have the power to. Guess it was for plot or too intimate for Shounen?

other then that I liked the MC and ML and loved the other characters. It focuses mainly on their romance rather than the... more>> drama but hey atleast they weren’t forgotten and resolved.

Honest rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a nice read, the story is quite deep but because of Yu Shi and Chu Yu's relationship you'll be softie, it's just sad that at a young age, Yu have to get through those things but that's the cycle of life, the cycle of cause and effect, and they deserve the happiness that both of them have now.

Im not sure whether it's important or not or maybe it was really just a blood condition or maybe Chu yu really have a blood of a vampire but at least he's Yu Shi's little monster exclusively lol 😂

Personal enjoyment: 4.85/5! It was a wild ride and the MC was def a lot darker than I thought he would be. There was a lot of drama too in terms of the MC’s relationship with his mom and also just ML’s relationship with his family. It definitely kept me hooked. And the author did a great job somehow combining this silly plot of MC needing the ML’s blood to all this angst and family drama. It completely worked too!! The MC and ML are well written, it's a nice story overall. Pretty and rich MC left alone by his family, intelligent and scheming ML that plan his revenge perfectly from the start.

I didn't enjoy it as much because it gets a bit boring in the middle. Also I wonder about some questions at the end of the story: what about MC’s vambire trait? His mother reaction to him liking ML ? What happened to the ML’s father’s company ?

I think the end is a bit rushed.

Nice translation though.

I enjoyed this story quite a bit.

It's kind of one of those stories that ends with a feeling that this is just a moment in their lives and it's not like over yet. However, there is nothing else to read.

I really enjoyed reading this and god the MC and ML are just so freaking good to each other. Are they a little unhealthy and clingy... yes, but not the point where they end up hurting the other in any way. the ML also has some dark thoughts (but I like that in a ML hehe). If anything their love for the other makes them stronger.

Do I wish I got a little more closure regarding certain aspects of both MC and MLs lives... absolutely. But ultimately, I'm left feeling content... more>> by the time I finished this novel and dammit they are just too freakin' cute to me! <<less

one of my all time favorites (づ ᴗ _ᴗ) づ♡ the novel threads a thin line between heartwarming and heartwrenching. There were moments which made me unconsciously grin but again, there were also stuff so dark and captivating that made my heart drop. It is kinda addicting. I don't even know how the author made the dynamics work out like it wouldn't take much for it to flop.

amazing read, would reccomend 10/5. Also some people point out loopholes such as chu yu having sudden change of diet with no explanation... more>> of how or why but that wasn't the point?? For me it was more symbolic. The rest is for u to figure out. I mean does everything in life have explanation and clean ends to all??

In the beginning, I think that this novel taste heavy, but actually not. And I too think that the protagonists need to see psychiatrist, but they heal each others in the end.

Till the end, author made this without solves many problem, such as what happen with MC's mom after he confront her? Why author reveal about some neighbor student death because of stress, too much pressure coz of study, and MC's friend study too much just to made us worry, but to no fail none happen

I loved this book. The characters were very elaborate and I found the character development to be very realistic. I wish Chu Yu and Lu Shi a lifetime of happiness together. I'll miss them so much. The only takeaway for me was that I would love to see more drama with Chu Yu's family. Overall, this book is 5 stars and I would definitely reread it.

It's one of my favourite novel.

It's about MC who suddenly craves for blood. And only ML's blood.

ML kinda have a bad past related to his blood. That's why he goes all crazy, yandere when he learn about MC's problem with blood.

It's not that dark. There's also some fluffy stuffs in this novel.

I love both ML and MC. They are cute, hehehe....

5 stars for the novel and 5 stars for the translator. I don't know if I am being greedy or what but I hope translator will update more. ^_^

For the story, it's not that bad although it kind of bland, sometimes I feel like the author rushed to write the novel, like there's no explanation about why MC become a vampire, and why he only can drink ML blood. At first I thought the MC become a vampire because one of his parents a vampire too or at least their great grandparents are the same kinds then his mother will tell him the secret or something about why he become a vampire. But no there's no explanation at... more>> all, it just come out of nowhere that he become a vampire and he become depressed about it 😐

The romance kinda slow for a short novel, but yeah ML really possessive and MC really like that kind of feeling, but in the end MC also showing his possessiveness side too. It maybe looks cute because they really went through a lot so they depends on each other to stay alive, especially for ml.

Although I'm really dissatisfied with the ending because there's really no extra or anything about their future plan or something but it's still a decent good ending. <<less
