D*mn! So satisfied with this story. I actually saw this story accidentally and got curious with the plot since it sounds a little like dog blood. I really really love this story.

First, I love OP protagonist and a more OP, rich, and cold ML. Encountering this novel feels like encountering a vast ocean in a dessert since I'm having a hard time looking for one for a long time now (I feel like I've read everything of the same style).

Now, moving on to the plot. This wasn't heavily focused on... more>> romance, but rather to mech, development, and the MC creating history. Although it's a little weird that he was good at flying mech even though he's disabled in his past life, the author still showed his development. Him suffering of pain just so he can increase his mental strength everyday and etc.

The characters, they weren't actually that idiotic (except the MC's parents, the s*um gong and his family). The original protagonist actually knew his own mistakes and know how to repent. The side characters have their own attitudes and characteristics. Even though the process of "MC saying something, everyone doubting, MC achieving what he said, everyone being in awe" seems repetitive, the side characters still have their attitudes regarding those matters.

The thing I'm dissatisfied with is the ending feels rushed. I mean the very last chapter at least. There's also mo extra or something of the sort, however I really ended up loving this story. <<less

It has a lot of potential. Altho the plot focuses more on mecha rather than the romance, it would be okay... BUT author, really, what's the rush?

I'm okay with OP MCs but with a well-founded plot and world settings to boot. In this novel, however...*sigh*.

The first (or 1/3?) half of the story is very engaging. Where we can see the MCs struggle to adapt and realize his unfulfilled dream from his previous life. That banquet scene is such a hype also and I quite like it. But I dunno what... more>> happened, the author suddenly decided to rush everything 😔.

It has a promising start but.. hayst. Disappointed. <<less

i usually don't read mechas because my pea-sized brain cannot comprehend all the information and nerdy terminologies, but heeey, this one is definitely a good read. The MTL is also ok, its definitely confusing but understandable nonetheless.

MC is definitely a Gary Stu character, he's OP af so if you don't want this kind of character setting then bad news for you I guess. Tho I would still recommend that you give it a shot because his personality is great imo.

ML not really that interesting compared to MC. Yeah he's also... more>> OP and has a secret that is not really a secret now because of the description lmao. He's a complete sucker for MC, nothing really bad to say to him. He's not controlling compared to any other ML in novels which is a win-win.

The chemistry between the two is ok. To be honest, I kinda want more romantic scenes since the story focosed more on mecha.

Fights are ok. I'm not a big fan of mecha but I do like it here. Especially MC and his 'ugly cat' hahaha.

Story is great! I really love the whole empowerment of omega.

The villians are meh, a lot are just bad for the sake of being bad. Tho I'm quite satisfied at what happened to them in the end. I also love that the MC gave some of them a chance, especially Su Zinan and his mom.

Ending is also satisfying but goddamn its a freaking cliffhanger. Ughh I wanna know what the hell happened. 😩 <<less

i must say I quite enjoyed this one... compared to the other abo novels, like an abo version of the gender pay gap, women’s rights, breaking the glass ceiling, and the continuous struggle for gender equality... MC is basically a revolutionist... there’s romance, but it’s not as fluffy as you would want it to be... there’s politics, corruption, greed, collusion, but these were not intricately described... overall, it was a good read

I was honestly so glad he recovered, because he did so much for Omegas. I also don't think damaging the glands can change a persons genetics, so him magically becoming Beta instead of a suppressed O was wierd - why not just make him and Alpha? Or if an Alpha cut their... testicles? Would they be Beta, lol.

MTL is easy

MC and ML have very very good chemistry! I don't really like mecha building stories (another example would be cultivation stories in the literal sense of the word), I prefer fights and wars, but their romance is very good, slow and natural.

MC has been the p since the beginning, the slaps in the face that I wanted the most take a while to come (towards cap 60 and above) and when they did.... oh oh... I don't know, I felt more sadness than satisfaction, but in the end... more>> everything was fine, I loved how they lead with the situation <3

it's a very sweet story, 10/10 <<less

i had finish the mtl and it was so good!

it made me laugh, cringe, excited and cry! it was really worth it

only dissatisfaction is that it doesnt have extra's hahhhhhh like other reviews I agree that the ending wasnt enough to satisfy me... but ohh well its still good enough...

Anyway, I love every bit of this novel!! The character progression is so satisfying! I love how the fluff, romance, face slaps, comedy, and etc etc balance each other out. There’s not much excessiveness except for those other brain-dead characters who didn’t appreciate or see how awesome the MC. I love the MC so much more than the ML. I even fell in love with how mecha works QAQ

That ending... I need more!! I want more interactions uwu

As the other users has mentioned before, I really like both the MC and the ML. They has distinct characters which makes the story interesting. The romance doesnt happen way too quickly which is usually the case for transmigration stories. But the heart-fluttering part was enough to keep me satisfied for the romance.

It was really good and enjoyable! I was learning a lot about mechas and it was really interesting. I will say it was definitely a more heavy influence on the mecha rather than the romance.

But there is no regrets in reading this because the few short moments in the middle was so tasteful in the jealousy aspect and seeing the MC slowly realize his feelings.

Finished in two days, very quick read. The face slapping was really ENJOYABLE!!!! Definitely a recommendation for those who want something shot and quick!

i wanted to see ML building nest during his susceptibility period

and he didnt actually blacken in end o...o thats surprising <like we know he just waiting for time, but after MC woke up he became mild>

i hate the queen

the chi guy is most annoying of all, _, even the og novel proto is lots better than him but dont like that su guy either but he did turn over new leaf

those research institute ppp are so cute they act like spies xD

zhuo old man is gd alas I thought he wouldnt reveal the matter as hes queens aide

The novel was very interesting

I reached the middle of it and I am satisfied with it, even though the events are traditional? Or I would say repetitive with other isekai novel, for example the rigid ML with almost no personality and the presence of the fiance who regrets giving up the mc

But the presentation was excellent and I'm in love with face slapping in it

The plot of this novel is amazing. How the author narrated each scene made me amazed, looking forward for more.

It sucks rhat there's no special or extra chapters. Moreover, ending is rushed. We need more.

Both ML And MC are overpower. MC is the most overpowered. I think the past of MC is not much detailed, there's not much details how he became the best mecha inventor even though he was chronically ill. Anyway, the overall story is amazing but it's common plot though. I enjoyed it. There's not much challenges... more>> and it was resolved easily. <<less

I'm usually sceptical of abo novels, but this one was enjoyable. Most of the novel main character beats up everybody pretty literally - with his mecha, and figuratively fighting against prejudice. A lot things that you can typically find in such a novel are absent - main character hardly uses his "knowledge of the future" for example. If being honest, if the whole thing about being in a book and changing the original story, along with abo setting, was removed, the story wouldn't lose anything, aside from tags to attract... more>> readers. There are no explosive plot twists or cunning schemes (which is what I usually like), but overall I found the novel rather satisfying <<less

Really enjoyable. The translation is smooth and high quality, emotion is conveyed well.

Don't come into this looking for a masterpiece, it's the usual face slapping, over powered MC book. But if that's what you like then this is really good, the romance is sweet, and the ML has no bad moments.

The main 2 villains are very very low IQ but some also get a good redemption, the MC is not extremely cruel in his revenge. No gore. The omega villains especially are not s*upid and one dimensional, they became the way they are to thrive in a world that does not treat omegas well. The ending verges on almost too perfect, but does not go over, and mostly makes sense.

What I like most about this is novel is how the side characters are treated. I love Kaleb, Xi bolai, Lan Ranxu, Oriel and the rest. They are not just dressing for the main characters romance, they have real heart and personalities. Even the students from rival schools aren't made into ridiculously evil omega bashing villains. I like system stories, but something like this where the MCs obstacles are tangible and in world threats is far preferable.

The MC is smart and wins by turning his opponents techniques against them and studying their battles diligently, of course he's also a prodigy. <<less

Su Zisan's character was very interesting afterwards, quite dissapointing his personality wasn't very much fleshed out, also mc's brother. Even the other side characters who were supposed to be the mc's closest weren't featured much. I was hoping to see Yun Wun and Su Zinan together with the MC, high-key dissapointed but over all, it was a very good read while waiting for my mom at her christmas party lol lol

Imagine a being that originated from a planet/world that surpasses others by leap and bound, and transmigrated into one of the characters in our world. That's basically what Yun Xingze was all about. He came from a world that was better than the rest and he himself was top notch in his own world. And then on his last breath, he transmigrated into an ABO novel and became the cannon fodder omega.

I was all about taking revenge, making the villains bow down, face-slapping, and if possible, wife-chasing crematorium. I did not get the wife-chasing crematorium though. While doing all that, Yun Xingze showed his OP-ness. He did all these amazing things just because he could and he thought everyone else in the ABO novel could do the same. Because it was a novella, the writer focused more on the two main characters.

I had no problem with the OP-ness or the plot. But, it felt like something was missing. At one point, I was more invested in the side characters. Probably because I felt more connected with them. The translation team did a great job with this novella.

The translation I read is from KnoxT. The translation is readable. There are a lot of awkward sentence structures and usual translation oddities common in Chinese to English translations but no irritating errors that affected my reading experience. No wrong names or wrong pronouns. It could be better but it could have been so much worse.

Hmm, I feel that maybe the first 2 arcs or tournaments were better than expected for a novel even the author said is a pure everything would go smoothly for the MC type of novel. But then, after the MC had to go to the Imperial City for his family, well, all the only good things (the kind of exciting shounen feeling of mecha fighting) were taken out. What is left is a too straightforward plot where the details weren't really executed well enough to keep my attention. Things got solved very easily for the MC, and it felt quicker than all the fighting parts.

Plot: 3.3/5

The plot is very simple and straightforward. This is a pure wish-fulfillment story. It's like those Hallmark holiday movies where it all feels good but the execution is a bit too cringey.

Romance: 3.5/5

The romance took a long while to become official which I actually like. There was instant interest but not insta love. There were also no dumb misunderstandings and the common, oh, the pheremones made me have s*x and all the drama afterwards. There was a hint but it didn't follow through. Good. Got lots of the omega’s legs going weak at the faintest sniff of the alpha's pheromones but no r*pe happens so that's good. However, after they got together, I absolutely lost interest lol. After that, it was all sweet nothings and stuff which was of zero interest to me. Would have liked them to be more interesting as a character and not just the spunky shou and the doting alpha so after their romance got cemented, things would still be interesting.

Setting/Worldbuilding: 3.3/5

It was a very simple setting. Not really detailed. The mechas can be considered the most detailed part of the world. The various uniquenesses of each mecha and how the MC used them to his advantage in each round were interesting. Other than that, not much.

Characters: 3.5/5

The MC was the most interesting to follow just because he's doing all the stiff. His best friend got a surprising little bit of depth and screen time but that was kinda it after that lol. The ML was a bit disappointing, actually. The mystery and buildup were intriguing but as we spent more time with him, he's just a normal possessive ish alpha that's jealous of the Mc’s ex. Happy he doesn't control the MC or anything like that though. It's just that he isn't anything special or surprising. I do believe it's because we don't really see him being proactive or actively doing something. If he did anything, we only know that he did it after the fact or from general knowledge.

Personal Enjoyment: 3.3/5

I liked the mecha parts okay enough (and the romance that was intertwined with it) but after that, everything else was kinda meh. I almost dropped it. I didn't because nothing was bad enough haha. This was as the author intended it to be. A journey where everything goes well for the MC. I liked this part in the mecha parts but in the romance and faceslapping parts, it got too smooth lol.

I really liked it. I like it when the MC and ML can banter and get along well - you really don’t need angst and conflict between your CP to make a story interesting.

BUT

Why throw the ‘transmigrated into a novel’ trope into the mix? I’ve never really understood that plot device. Does it even make sense? What happens when you reach the part where the book ends?

It seemed it was only thrown into this story to be used twice, just to make it easy for the author to give some... more>> backstory. This could have been handled in another way.

Except for that, it was a good read. If you like a main couple who always have each other’s backs, while both being OP and generous with their face slapping of people who did them wrong- this is the story for you. <<less

I am not into ABO stories but this one was the one that I managed to complete and it was a fun read. I've actually read it twice! After reading the fist time I forgot about this story, only remembered the scene where he cut his glands and i've always thought it was one of the arcs in Quick transmigration novels. After starting the second time I remembered everything.

It is one of the best stories for those who are into interstellar world, mecha fighting and ABO.

MC: I love this MC.... more>> Yes he is too OP, he is just good at everything.

His ability to modify mechas are understandable since he was a famous researcher from higher developed world. But his fighting ability being high despite not being a fighter in his last life was weird. Even with lower mental ability, he has natural controlling ability? What? Also we don't know much about his last life, it's just briefly mentioned. So big chunk of his story is unclear. In some novels we get in depth story about MCs past life and reason behind his personality. But this MCs only struggle and past life is that he was sick. Sick all his life and that is it. No idea about his past family, friends, relationships e.t.c.

ML being a student around the same age was fresh. I really like him. Not some overbearing, possessive older alpha. Usually in ABO stories ML is always some top general, strongest person in empire or smth. But here couples are equal which was breath of fresh air.

This story also brings up theme of sexism and gender roles.

It has some annoying and s*upid characters but not truly evil one. Specially students all had redemption arc. Even rival school students were cute in some way. <<less
