Crazy Tyrant Sentinel Transmigrates as a Flower Vase Omega

Baylor was a sentinel, berserk sentinel warrior, five senses are exceptional, but also uses his animal spirit to help in combat. However, he transmigrated as a flower vase omega, and would soon be given away as a gift. This was not the problem, the problem was that the world had no guides and he could be in danger of a psychic riot at any time.

Baylor was annoyed, and an annoyed sentinel does not know restraint, with the body of a soft omega, he fought against any alpha he met.

The alphas: ????

Using a disguised identity, the Imperial General Ewan subdued the fighting Baylor, and sneered: You like to fight? Do you want to go to the front line to fight?

Then Baylor saw his lost spiritual animal was spinning around the alpha’s feet, and was still foolishly following him. His restless mental energy suddenly became calm. This, surely, was the guide!

So Baylor decided to guard this “guide” in case of emergency. When someone provoked him, Baylor first pinned him to the ground. When an interstellar beast attacked, Baylor gave up his life to block.

Ewan, the youngest general in the history of the empire, the top alpha, cold and ruthless, killing and decisive. There was a famous saying from him, only the weak need a mate. So, when he looked at Baylor jumping in front of him regardless of his own safety, he saw it as a crazy love (?) So, being sensible, he said: I’m not interested in omegas, you don’t have to waste time on me.

Baylor: … What the hell was he talking about? Forget it, the walking guide can be forgiven for doing anything. Until one day, Baylor suddenly found out that what he thought was a guide helping alleviate his irritation was actually the pheromone of the world’s top alpha! Baylor: Oh!

And then–

Subordinate: General, Mr. Baylor went to dine with the prince today.

Subordinate: General, Mr. Baylor went to see the exhibition with the movie emperor today.

Subordinate: General, your pen was broken!

Later, someone saw the “no worldly desires” general in the evening in the empty training ground, pressing a person fiercely in the training cabin and kissing him, his pheromones turned up into a shocking wave.

Pretty good, I really like the MC, he's very straightforward but smart, and meshes well with the ML. If you're open to sentinel omegaverse with a bit of military and Mecha action you should give it a try.

The translation is readable but feels very stilted and has a lot of run on sentences. I compared a couple of chapters and then read the whole thing with MTL, I felt like it flowed better for me. Also for some reason the translator replaced all the Chinese names with western ones -... more>> if you're Irish or read a lot of Star Wars novels it might not feel weird haha.

I wouldn't say that this novel is extraordinary but it's a nice read, give it a try if you like the genre. <<less

This novel was quite suprising to be honest. I mean you do not get to read much novel where there is an actual "science" is explained. The novel mostly have third POV which sometimes makes it easy to understand situations but sometimes it also makes things hard to understand (only sometimes).

The characters in the novel had good amount of brain cells aka they were not dumb except for few.

Overall a very good novel to read

This had all the elements of something I would have loved, which was why I was so excited to read it.

ABO mixed with Guideverse, Strong fiesty omega, misunderstandings gallore, some alpha possessiveness, etc.

Going to put this on pause for now and might come back to it when I'm in the mood. I'm grateful it's translated but it comes off very awkwardly written in most parts and I kept getting confused and backtracking several times to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

I delayed reading this one because I was thinking that MC would be something like a zombie. But I need to say: THIS NOVEL IS AWESOME!

It's a perfect mix of genres and the MC and ML are 100000/10. Baylor is very unique and Ewan is a little emotionally dumb, but his development is really well done!

I didn't have any problem with the currently translation. There's a problem here and there, but nothing that you can't understand.

Quite satisfying and I really like MC even though he's arrogant, aloof, rash, childish. Somehow, he's still very endearing.

Sad that this is not a harem bec it rly has a potential to be one.

Loving it so far.

Subtracted 1 star bec it rly bothers me that the translator changed the names of the main characters. Who cares if they have chinese names in the midst of western names! Call them Bai Mo and Yu Qun! I can't take Ewan seriously, it means "I don't know" in our language.

I was pleasantly surprised by this novel, I don’t usually read ABO novels but I was running out of good unlimited flow/apocalypse novels. Honestly I was charmed by the obliviousness of the MC and how uncaring they are (even though you can clearly tell he does care, its just hard to express it)

I would first like to address the comment about the ML being the stereotypical possessive red flag, uh did we read the same story? I apologise, but the MC and the ML are both clearly possessive of... more>> each other, and No? The ML did not restrict his movements in-fact I thought he was being a green-ish flag, because not only did become more honest when he was confronted by the MC he also was very lenient and accepting. This is already pretty good for someone who has abandonment issues well I think they both do ehe~ <<less

A nice story I would actually enjoy if only the translation was better.

I love myself a strong MC who stands their ground so Baylor was really up to my liking. It’s just that there seems to be a few forced and repetitive scenes like random people hating and trying to tear his reputation, which could be easily solved from early on. Unnecessary misunderstandings because of MC’s unwillingness to divulge his feelings.

What I love the most from this whole story would probably be the dog

(I didn't read the extras)

The author took a long time to develop the story, it was possible to reduce this novel to many chapters. I got tired of reading it and at a certain point I started skipping several parts, because I couldn't stand reading it anymore, that's why I didn't read the extras. If the author were more objective, it would definitely be better.

It was also the first time I didn't like ML (Ewan). MC (Baylor) doesn't like lies, I identified with that a lot, because like... more>> him, I have a lot of faith in people, and there were several moments when ML lied and hid things from MC, including important information about MC's body, which could help MC protect himself, but ML only told the truth when MC found out. Even though the MC was angry at him for being deceived, soon after the ML was lying again 😮‍💨

If it were me in this relationship, I wouldn't stay in it, after all one of the main things I ask is to be honest with me, don't lie to me, I hate lies, and the person can't respect that? Bye.

The ML isn't bad, but because of these lies, he made me angry at certain times, so I don't think he's the passionate man that MLs have to be to charm the readers.

Novel Rating: 05/10

Translator Rating: 10/10

I thought the translation was great, I even really liked that they adapted the names of the MC and ML, I thought it made a lot of sense. Thanks for the translation :)

To me, this is a super washed out version of [Omega Allergy].

I highly recommend reading that one first because it's simply better on all counts - characterization, worldbuilding, science-tech, sci-fi, philosophy.

Although this one is cute, fluffy, brainless, with lots of idiots... at a certain point, the story just completely falls flat with the author's ambitions. The author should have kept this story light, the kind that regurgitates other story plots with very little drama. Unfortunately, they were very ambitious instead and tried to do too much with all the different... more>> arcs and genre mixing of school-life then war, then drama/plot/intrigue/betrayal etc, but didn't do them well enough.

The main romance was super funny in the beginning until it just started dragging. The author really isn't skilled enough to write an emotional drama / romance with intergalactic space opera vibes and should have just stuck to their lighthearted comedy/romance fluff.

After about halfway through, I really started skipping 3-4 chapters at a time, and my viewership of the story did not suffer at all with how much the plot dragged.

Translation was fine, writing was basic so no need for a lot to make it readable. <<less

It's a good read, nothing astonishing. I still really enjoyed it, even through the repetitive bits.

The MC is powerful and never takes up an inferior role in the relationship despite being an omega. He's also fearless and cares so little about everyone else that, thankfully, whenever he's in embarrassing situations it's never painful to read about. His questionable social skills would've given me major second-hand embarrassment if he wasn't so confident and capable — and if it hadn't made so much sense, considering his backstory. As it was, he just... more>> comes off as extremely true to himself and straightforward. I really enjoy that type of character.

The other love interests are kinda there for no reason other than to provoke jealousy and be mildly antagonistic, but the author makes you root for the MC and ML's relationship. They weren't that important to the plot, but they made the main pairing interact in interesting ways so I still found it entertaining.

I typically enjoy stories that are more plot, with romance as a subgenre at most (like Mist, or Little Mushroom) so it wouldn't really be something I'd re-read. But it's still an engaging novel. <<less

I really don't get the hype on this story tbh, I mean yeah there's a bit character development in the mc's, but I don't know why.... no offense but the romance or interaction between MC and ML is kinda bland, and also ML is not really that super green though, he had some quite various red flags issues...

Yeah, not really my cup of tea

This one hooked me pretty fast and I had a blast reading it. The animals were funny and so was the main couple's relationship.

OmegaSentinelShou!MC X Alpha"Guide"Gong!ML

There's a lot of focus on combat and training since MC was a kind of soldier in his previous world and decided to become one in his present one too. Expect a lot of military scenes. MC is a straightforward musclehead through and through. If he's not doing combat training, he's on his way to training, doing physical training, doing mecha training, participating in combat/mecha... more>> exams, in battle, etc. He's stubborn and combative and vengeful and especially protective of his own. MC is a crazy firecracker with plenty of character and an interesting thought process. He's also very slow to fall. His background didn't really allow for close relationships like love or even much friendship. So ML falls first, and he's definitely a lot smarter, but he's also a tad stunted when it comes to love due to trauma.

They do not have any children during the novel. MC made it pretty clear early on that he didn't want to give birth. Fair enough, all things considered.

While reading, I only had three issues:

    1. Most of the time, the translation quality was good, but occasionally it was downright awful. There would be a random illegible passage every couple of chapters, or several lines where the quality took a noticeable drop
    2. Once I finished the main plot, I found the extras boring and struggled to finish them. It would have been better if they'd been woven through the main story instead
    3. They weren't that obvious, but I did trip over one or two small potholes while reading
Overall, I definitely recommend this one! <<less

I did enjoy the journey of MC stubbornly fought his way to the top.

This is a very straight forward plot, not very complicated. We deal with more fist fights here in a Mecha world haha.

MC is a ruthless fighter from another world and he came to kick ass in this new world in his omega body

... more>> ML is cold in the beginning than became a wife s*ave later of course going that route.

Love our big Wolf, he was one of the highlight. I find him very cute.

That beside character was the girl, but I don't know why so never gets anything else but a cheer leading role?

The other love rivals weren't as good I thought they were going to be. The Prince really just 2 faced.

Well honestly I just want the xxx Scene between them both since they are so hot being described keh

This was a good read I don't hate even though it was a bit generic <<less

this had the potential to be so much more but it's just another case of an author shooting themself in the foot. How disappointing.

i disagree with other reviews saying MC isn't a damsel in distress. The fact that he's an omega and is constantly sexually harassed is practically the same thing, and he is so lacking in both common sense and the love department. His only character is being reckless and not caring about anything or anyone. The way he comes to "like" ML isn't even fully fleshed out. He... more>> knows he likes ML but we don't even see any of his thoughts or actions expressing that. If I were the ml, I would also be shocked every time the MC says something relating to his feelings about him. He's like an empty husk that can speak.

on the other hand, the ML never has his trauma properly fixed lol but yes, the MC can totally make him change. definitely. It's so unrealistic and poorly executed. I would've understood if it were a person with so much love and kindness but it's some guy who can't even properly say he likes the ML lmao.

i had to laugh at the audacity of the author to call this thing a romance. Oh boy. I wonder what real romances would be called then. The MC and ML aren't even in a push and pull as another reviewer put it. They're pushing each other away repeatedly, and they both have their own convictions of the other that they're not seeing each other properly. MC isn't even self-aware enough of how much he doesn't know about ML or the world he's in but he just assumes things and head into things blindly. If he weren't so inhumanely strong, he would've been found dead. The so-called romance doesn't even make up for their rough start. And, a reviewer made it sound like they talk about their relationship so properly. They talk about terms and go on to act like they're not a couple again after. I just don't feel mc's feelings for ML at all, I feel bad for the ML who worked hard to overcome his f*cking trauma just to get with this as*hole who couldn't even be honest or loyal to him. You can very well skip all the chapters with the flies (aynor and julius) hovering over MC and you won't have missed anything relevant in the story. 😂 So useless.

soulless romance. You have to be shameless to call a story like this a romance. And the way the main story ended? Haha. I wish I could take back the days I spent on this. What's the use of hoping a story could get better if it always falls flat like this? Read this at your own discretion but don't believe the other reviewers. You don't come to this story for romance. Nothing cute or fluffy about it. It's just the ML being one-sidedly affectionate.

i would like to correct another one of the reviews. The reviewer said the MC lost interest in the ml. I feel like we didn't read the same thing. The MC never had any interest in the ml. The ML quite literally realizes this and feels like garbage after it because he thought they had something but it was just him all along. The MC has no concept of "like, " just contractual relationships. He needs a guide and mate, whether it's ML or anyone else, he would've said yes as long as they follow the terms of their relationship and fit his qualifications. Personally I disliked how controlling the ML was being too, it was hard to read so I felt no remorse over skipping that whole ridiculous arc in their "romance." but if the ML wasn't persistent, this piece of wood MC would have caused him and the ML to never get together lmao. The author didn't find a way to fix this so all the work was put on the ml. <<less

Fun read. I enjoyed the plot and MC, Baylor. MC is strong willed, unapologetically kicks butt, and doesn't wait around for someone to save him. He's supposed to be gifted to ML as a "plaything" but instead he's thinking...

Spoiler

How can I abduct Ewan and lock him up for my own use.

Hahaha! The irony.

[collapse]

ML, Ewan, is the strongest S-class alpha general. He has an "aversion" to love but becomes especially indulgent of MC when he falls in love. Excerpt of ML's thoughts...

Spoiler

After all, if Baylor could hit someone, he would just go ahead and hit them, not make himself angry. Baylor could be angry from the morning until now, it meant that he did not hit the person. He didn't mind tying the person up in front of Baylor.

[collapse]

I especially like this novel for two reasons.

1) MC stays strong through the entire novel. Sometimes these stories start off with strong MCs who become noticeably weaker after coupling.

2) There are several strong female characters. And again, sometimes there won't be a single good female character throughout the entire novel.

Hope these two points will trend in future novels. <<less

Honestly, I started out really hopeful for this book. I enjoy ABO as well as the Sentinel/Guide relationships so I was really excited to read what appeared to be a fusion of the two. It started out good but became stale in the middle; I dropped it when I started to predict the situations that would crop up around them.

Let me start with the positive before we go into the negatives. Omegas aren't limited to certain fields and can actually branch out as long as they can maintain a certain... more>> level of standard. Fight scenes had my adrenaline rushing and each page made me desire more.

Spoiler

The twist that his spirit animal, aka a metaphysical being spawned from his soul, could actually interact with the physical world at will was a delightful surprise. More often than not, the animals are mentioned in the relationships but only in regard to how their partners have... bonded over time. They primarily act as an indicator rather than an active participant in a confrontation. This one - the supposedly ditzy - Siberian Husky appeared to understand social situations better than its owner.

[collapse]

This leads me to my next point: I get that the character is built on the idea of 'lack of common sense', however, this missing knowledge didn't start once he crossed over. No, this was something that occurred in his last life and he has yet to attempt to rectify it as the story goes along. To say that this man has a one-track mind would not do justice to the situations that he faces.

Spoiler

For example, MC finds out that he was not sent to be a diplomat so much as a gift - a flower vase or f*ck buddy depending on what the ML desired. He thanks them for the information and does the bare minimum to secure a backup plan. Almost every sentence to 'his guide' is highly ambiguous, however, his mind wonders about the possibility of securing another once he obtains enough funds.

[collapse]

His development feels superficial: eat, fight, sleep, and repeat with sprinklings of training thrown in. I get that the world that he lived in was literally war-torn - and it's highly possible that he has PTSD - but in my eyes, the dog had more life in him. There are so many misunderstandings that could have been resolved by slowing down, observing the situation, and filling the gaps in his knowledge. MC is a loose cannon that is the least like a soldier and more like a mercenary.

I can't fault him too much as that is the only thing that he knows how to do. Diplomacy, tact, secondary skills, et. al are just not there.

ML... I honestly can't see why they pursued a relationship when the only thing- wait. It was the memories, wasn't it?

Spoiler

The more the ML looked through his memories, the more he began to feel for the MC right? And that's not mentioning the 'mystery' of the dog as well as the personality change. As he watched the MC grow up, he began to want to 'protect' him from self-destructing.

[collapse]

Assuming that over time, that initial want became a need to control and obtain the MC. Overall, if you can get past the... middle? There's possibly a decent story waiting for you at the end. <<less

I stopped reading it because I didn't like the ML. He was just too generic.

The MC was actually a really good and refreshing character. His character was straightforward and logical, he didn't take any bullsh*t and didn't deal with the drama. His character was really likable. Honestly I expected the author to find him someone who would respect him and pursue him romantically in a straightforward way and communicate well with him, just because MC the type to say what's on his mind. The thing is, the story got such... more>> a cliche love plot. ML was generic, an overpowered general who refused to have romantic relationships in the past, and so he kept pushing the MC away without any considerations and communicated this to the MC out loud and clear, so eventually when theMC finally started to lose Interest, the ML started to realize his feelings and kept monopolizing the MC. Controlling who he is in contact with and what not. That's just too cliche for such a MC. i have read many stories like that, and was fine with it just because some novels are cliche like that, but the MC was really good, and I had high expectations. <<less

It’s an interesting novel. I liked the first part. I also like that omegas here aren’t as discriminated like in other novels. Yes, some cannon fodder thinks that omegas are weak but there’s really not an issue about an omega joining the military like in other novels.

So it’s interesting how MC develops in this new world

But the story kinda dragged on after some time. That’s why I’m stopping for now.

This is my personal opinion. First of all, I'm not really a fan of ABO novels but of the ones I've read, this is actually one of the better ones.

The MC is not weak and the ML is not overbearing. Other than being quite dense MC isn't the annoying type.

The novel has a pretty good plot too.

It's just that I kind of can't bring myself to mtl the rest.

Spoiler

Also what's with BL novels being explicitly misogynistic? The MC was like 'I ain't a weak girl you know'. Like what exactly do you mean by that? In other BL novels the female side characters are written so badly too. With little to no substance.

This is basically why I'm not giving it a 4.
