Crematorium For Everyone After the False Young Master Awakens

It was only after You Mian died that he found out he was actually a cannon fodder and a fake young master in a shura field, pure love text.

It was his established destiny to be disliked by everyone and regarded as the stand-in for the true young master, Bai Lin.

You Mian originally thought that Yan Tingxuan, who he grew up with since childhood, would be the only exception. He didn’t expect that not only Yan Tingxuan, but all his other friends, would stand behind Bai Lin and become Bai Lin’s support.

You Mian became indifferent and emotionless in his previous life. However, he was the one who occupied Bai Lin’s rich life after all. Therefore, he endured all these changes.

Then once the fire broke out, he discovered that being adopted by the You family was actually a conspiracy. It was all a trade-off to protect Bai Lin.

No wonder why he was kidnapped countless times since he was a child, and his father remained indifferent. No wonder why Bai Lin was ‘retrieved’ immediately after his coming-of-age, and the You family was happy but not too surprised.

Those friends who approached him were all just fighting for Bai Lin.

Just as all the dust settled and there were no longer any waves in You Mian’s heart, he was reborn.

After his rebirth, You Mian was no longer obsessed with true or false, what was right and what was wrong.

In order to completely disentangle from all the relationships, You Mian agreed to the conditions proposed by the You family and was stuffed into a romance show that supported Bai Lin. He was to act as the clown rejected by Bai Lin’s many suitors.

His former friend, Yan Tingxuan, had an indifferent expression as if he was worried about being entangled by You Mian.

The Best Actor Award winner, Yun Guanqing, who was willing to lower his value to participate in the romance show, didn’t hide his boredom when he looked at You Mian.

Hou Yanzhi, who used You Mian as a stand-in, distanced himself as much as possible during the show and followed Bai Lin wholeheartedly.

You Mian was no longer obsessed with their changes, nor did he long for the family and friendships of his previous life. He just acted indifferently like a bystander.

Just as You Mian was about to finish participating in this show step by step and stay away from this shura field, those people suddenly became unhappy.

Yan Tingxuan asked viciously, “You didn’t send me the heartbeat text message. Who did you send it to?”

Yun Guanqing lowered his eyes and explained with a hoarse voice, “I misunderstood you before.”

Hou Yanzhi tried his best to fight for You Mian’s dating rights, begging shamelessly, “Give me another chance.”

Regarding all of this, You Mian only said, “Thank you, I really don’t want to be entangled with you any longer.”

I skipped part here and there cz otherwise I would die from boredom. Good thing that skipping those did not influence my understanding (cz actually not much was happening) otherwise I would have to just drop it. It had so many descriptions of the weather, of everything around, of how beautiful MC was, of what the MC and ML were wearing and how it complimented their beauty/handsomeness, of how MC was riding the bicycle somewhere, etc.. It is like I was back to school reading page of the description of... more>> some random oak tree in Tolstoy's War and Peace (though there it probably served some purpose, like allegory or smth). Honestly the plot was just so much but the the author managed to make it the story so long. The translation was good and special respect to the translator cz they had to translate all those lengthy descriptions. <<less

Truly Love and Appreciate how the author wrote the Characters and the Story flow.

Love how the Author doesn't make the Scummy Not-MLs Evil or Unnecessary Villains. How the feelings of Regrets and Sadness was such a good touch. But also love how the author doesn't exaggerated everything that I don't necessarily hate them BUT also don't Pity them At ALL.

They deserve the Cold, Hate, Disgust and Apathetic Treatment from MC, but also because they didn't cross any line, they don't get any Villain Treatment. The story shows how Absolutely Flawed... more>> they are but we as reader don't need to Hate or Dislike them more than they deserve.

And I also Love how the author wrote the MC. He only being Apathetic toward the Summary Not-MLs and actual Villains. But he's truly a Good Person toward other Good people like his Old and Newly made Friends.

While the ML was there without forcing his way, but Steadily and Powerfully help MC and walk beside him and Support him and Adore him Genuinely. That's why MC end up feeling Comfortable around him and fall from him smoothly.

Anyway this Novel is Truly Absolutely Great! The Villains get what they deserve and our MC life a Happily Ever After he deserve to have.

It's not a Perfect story, but the Extras truly Wrapped the story nicely and lovely. I'm ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT SOOOOOO MUCH!!!

Spoiler

I said not perfect because I'm still confused why he died in the beginning at the first place? It doesn't stated clearly and doesn't mentioned again since the first chapter. Unless I missed it???

This is a really solid story. I love the relationship between the main couple. The other three characters pursuing the MC get super annoying by the end though. I really wish there was more focus on the developing main couple instead of how much the other three are just nonentities to the MC.

The charm of the main couple to me is just how much of it was not planned by either them nor anyone around them. Even so, there was no denying that the two fit well together almost at... more>> first sight and it was super sweet so see how they interacted. There was also no doubt that the MC could not care any less about the other three, so the amount they all clung to him was super annoying, especially when the MC made it clear how much he just didn’t care about them. <<less

This was surprisingly enjoyable! Though I wouldn't call it a literary masterpiece, all I really need from a novel is characters with emotional depth as well as a genuinely touching romance, and this novel fit the bill. It's a good length, not drawing out for too long while still giving the plot enough time to develop and the crematorium to burn. I binge read the whole thing without stopping (except to sleep), so safe to say I liked it!

The one area where this novel lacks is in just how OP... more>> the protagonist is, to the extent that it borders on disbelief. That is to say, if MC was in an unlimited flow novel, his stats would basically be maxed out across the board, especially on the luck meter. As such, most plot points feel very coincidental, and there's no obstacle that MC can't predict, much less easily overcome. There's a few almost plot holes because of it, but it really reads more like satire than anything else.

MC is otherwise likeable, and he's very decisive in cutting toxic people out of his life. It's refreshing how he doesn't waver at all in his decision to move on with his life after rebirth, and he's forgiving because he has better things to focus on. He doesn't spend any time seeking revenge, which I personally liked, as the "villains" all basically self destruct on their own.

I did appreciate that the author tried to write enough third-wheeling scenes with the three secondary MLs in order to add a bit of drama to the otherwise sweet romance story, and it was to a basically perfect extent where I was never frustrated that the tr*sh MLs were taking up too much time or drama. All three of them have decent backstories and reasoning behind their as*hole behavior, but personally I never empathized much with any of them.

The real ML is great and I personally always will like a slightly domineering and cold, impeccably dressed CEO. The author mocks a few stereotypes like CEOs always being workaholics with stomach issues, and ML is honestly just a normal guy who has a lot of money and was born with the perfect face and body... lol yeah he's not normal but he matches perfectly with our OP MC!

I wrote up some character profiles just as there's quite a large cast, if anyone also likes knowing how to pronounce the Chinese names, only mild spoilers like who the ML is:
Spoiler

尤眠 - Yóu Mián - 21, 180cm, MC, sculpting student, "fake" young master

裴怀霁 - Péi Huáijì - 29, 191cm, ML, Chairman, not your typical domineering CEO while also being kind of typical?

白霖 - Bái Lín - 20, painting student, "real" young master, white lotus green tea b*tch, pretty much every scummy adjective

晏庭轩 - Yàn Tíngxuān - 26, lawyer, met You Mian when they were 8 & 13, wears glasses, honestly f*ck this guy

霍衍之 - Huò Yǎnzhī - 24, gold medal boxer, buff, met Bai Lin abroad and fell in love with his "art" without realizing they were actually all You Mian's work, treated You Mian as a substitute, probably the least offensive of the three

云冠清 - Yún Guānqīng - 20s, best actor, long hair, a**hole, not sure what he's even doing here tbh, he's so pathetic I can't even get annoyed at him

It’s really good! The MC is super chill, cute, and cool at the same time. I like these types of characters lol. The romance is sweet 1v1, but the other male leads def try to intervene sometimes so if you like “harems” then you can imagine it like that.

It's an interesting read in the beginning but it's hard to go over the constant infatuation the author seems to have over the MC's physical appearance, and the lack of flaws he seems to have (excl cooking/nightblindness). I enjoyed GT, he's pretty likeable as a side character and YGQ was hilarious LOL. But the face slapping all had the same flavour and the regrets came too early in my opinion. I enjoyed the cute moments between MC/ML though unfortunately it's sort of difficult for me to like the MC.

Complete (100% read) Highly recommended!!! Absolutely one of the ROMANTIC stories I have read on here. It is such a wonderfully written story and frankly, unexpectedly amazing with its imagery and symbolism! I don't want to spoil the journey at all, but this is a narrative that fully satisfies my desire to read people beautifully falling in love. I genuinely think this story is well worth the read!

Unmasking the real truth, You Mian decides to abandon those who abandoned him in previous life and sets on a face slapping journey on a romance show. Fate and Karma are on his side. Love follows him.

The whole romance show was the adorable and satisfying to read. I loved reading the fan comments. The green tea finally deserving the face slapping was a feast. Eating melons with your lover as the wretched earn their blackening is my new favourite trope. Thank you Rainbow Turtle for the translations.

Wholeheartedly agree with KichiX’s review. The story feels so lackluster and the face slapping and crematorium is nonexistent. The original love interests barely even repent on what they’ve done, and the MC lowkey entertains them by replying to their conversations. If you resent them that much, just drop all pretenses and cut them out of your life. Why still keep up this facade of politeness? The romance if bland too, I barely feel any spark between the MC and ml. The characters in this novel have such bland personalities, it... more>> is a draggy read. <<less

Granted this novel is ongoing at this time of my reading (will probably change review after completing), the story is not that interesting. I did have some expectations regarding real son-fake son plotline, but I didn't know the story would drag on for so long. The story is entirely based on the dating show which I honestly skipped majority of the time, because it really didn't add anything and I don't think I've missed anything (I hope). The emotions felt forced, almost as if author is making the reader... more>> feel certain emotions through the comments and reactions of the fans which I personally dislike. <<less

Made me laugh so much. The author is obviously mocking the trope of the domineering CEO with stomach issues, an iceberg face, no family connections, and basically no childhood 😂 😂 😂.

Pei HuaiYi is a breath of fresh air from typical MLs and he's so cute, He almost makes me like him more than the MC. The Pei family is also so cute, amazing, and wonderful people, not the uncle trying to steal the position of CEO or the grandpa doing some shady things.

But the You family are so terrible.... more>> I just keep thinking, how can people be like this? From stealing a baby, to using the baby to cover your own child from getting kidnapped, to stealing the child's art, talent, still trying to suppress them...

The MC is really pitiable, and that Bai Lin or something is a f*cking green tea b*tch.

All in all, please read this novel, and don't let the low rating put you off. I keep learning day by day how to never judge a book by the cover. Also, to the translator, a beautiful, wonderful job! <<less

MC is the king, he really cut off those s*um bags and doesn't even bat an eye when they regret anything. He will blatantly refuse in their face.

He's so decisive, charming and talented. ML cold heart melted instantly. He was like this before that green tea bit*h came back and he was confused. Once he Rebirth and knew the reason he was back, it wasn't a big change but just he was his real self again.

Besides ML and two other friends on the show everyone can go away. Psycho film... more>> empeor is just weird and doesn't add much to the story.

I feel sad for MCs experience because of this s*um family, they all deserve life prison terms and I hope they get it. Also want MCs real parents to be super rich and didn't abandon him but was taken away <<less

Thank you translator-nim!

MTLed the other chapters. The story is great and satisfying. I like the face slapping moments!

ML is very sweet and possessive but very protective to MC.

MC is a genius.

Spoiler

MC was able to find his birth parents. But they are already dead. Made me so sad. But he still have the ML with him. ML protects him.

I enjoyed reading it. A lot of the issues are things that made me want to roll my eyes rather than be overly obnoxious. There are a lot of nuggets that I legitimately like between the rolling of the eyes.

For example, the actor love interest crematorium stuff is eye roll worthy. It never really feels justifiable and is straight out of any Mary sue novel. However, the other two had actually interesting, more complex relationships to explain the crematorium stuff.
Spoiler

Like, I love that his old friend is a selfish kiss ass, which explains why he would betray the MC as soon as it was revealed he wasn't the real son. And why he would like the OG MC even though he clearly sucks. But he actually did like the MC and that puts him at odds with his own selfishness and desire for benefits.

[collapse]

MC being good at everything is eye roll worthy. But the story then puts it in the perspective of he could only learn those things because of his adoption by a wealthy family which gave it a fun little edge.

The MC and ML have a good relationship arc, I think I loved every scene they had together. The arc of finding out about the MCs biological parents felt uniquely touching in a genre where the trope is "the biological family is actually even more rich and powerful and loving" (no hate I love the trope).

The biggest weakness was that the OG MC is just like the weakest character ever. He's supposed to be a white lotus/green tea but the manipulation isn't even hidden. Especially, the famous actor love interest should have been able to see through him in a second, so it doesn't make any sense that he would be interesting. He is not good any anything, which isn't my interpretation, that's how he's written. It makes for a very boring villain and also make any character who even likes him for a second feel astronomically dumb, rather than misled or manipulated. Also, the other bottom members of the dating show deserved better, and I'm sad the author didn't get random love interests for them.

One last thing, I appreciated it that I feel like it didn't try to do too much. Like the plot was this dating show and the art competition, which made things feel stream lined. Although I don't think it was anything revolutionary, I couldn't stop reading it and enjoyed it.

What the hell is this? What is wrong with the author to actually write this book?

There is no semblance of plot: it's like the author randomly finds a hobby cool and decides to make the MC good at it. Like go-karts? Snooker? Why is this so random??? The plot is literally just random scenes where the MC acts cool and everyone falls in love with him.

Also, aren't the three in the summary supposed to be obsessed with the Real Younger Master, Bai Lin? How come literally first day, one of... more>> them got interested in MC? The others are literally not looking at Bai Lin at all, either. They're so bothered about MC'S "new behaviour" that they're just thinking about him all the time.

Also, what's up with the random sentences that praise MC in the most cringy way possible? It's like half of the text is just random adjectives jumbled together to show the readers that the MC is soooo cool and handsome. The repetition of the praises really ruins the already barely considerable plot of the story.

All in all, the author is probably a fujoshi who daydreamt some random 'cool' scenarios and decided to try and patch it into a story.

TL;DR Low quality, zero plot, half the story is just praising MC for random ass reasons. Would not recommend. <<less

Meh. It was super repetitive. Basically, all the angst has already happened. The reader is told about all the past trauma as the face slapping happens. The setting is a dating variety show - the author goes through it in great detail, and then revisits each detail again a few chapters later with barrage comments. Unfortunately, they aren't completely skippable, as they contain some relevant details.

Felt like fluff on top of very forced past angst and subsequent face slapping.

Spoiler

I had to skim the first kiss scene because literally half the chapter was an extended detailed description of the tension in the atmosphere. It's too much and took away from the story.

If you want a healthy and sugar filled CP this is it. ML is loveable and respectful from the first second to the very last and Mianmian is very much worth this from our Ml.

It's fluffy and easy to read, thank you for the translator for finishing all of it!

This is it if you need something healing, please give it a try as it does keep getting better the further you go in to the story.

It's a good fluff read, it was satisfying since eh he cut and ignore those toxic people in his life. The MC is pretty OP but it's fine, and he is decisive and knows himself well and he never dwell on the past like totally cutting them off. I like that those people who ignored him aren't really villains but idiots who taken for granted their relationship in exchange for a new one only to regret it in the end. Their characters are written pretty well, how they felt and... more>> evolve as they realised their s*upidity. I like how the ML acts at first when there's no label to them he really respect boundaries and waited for the MC to open up. That's also why MC was comfortable with him. I also like how the story is structured it only focuses on one show the things happening inside the show and their outside life it's like a real reality show on tv and seeing the life of guests off cam. If only it was edited some more it is a good modern fluffy story. The only thing I don't like which made me rate it 4 is that it is hard to read, part of it because of the translation and part of it because of the author writing too much objectives in one chapter that if you tally it all it could come up of at least ten chapters of his long legs that, or his muscles bursting like this, or his eyelashes were long this, and his broad shoulders that. It makes me sick reading it so I skip some parts, and some art work in the story was hard to imagine. If the author did more editing it could pass as a five 🌟novel <<less

This story had actually quite a bit of potential. Unfortunately in the end it was all a bit too clichee and stereotypical. Cold ML and beautiful talented MC. Translation is good and it is still a decent read but I really wish the author would have leaned into some of the things in the beginning that I got excited about, like the iceberg ML getting red ears from being shy when flirted with. How cute, why make him into the standard overbearing cold CEO afterwards?
