She had a dream: the world was brimming with light. Family. School. Friends. Trains. Buses. Movies. Books. In that world of light, she grew into adulthood… and at the very end, in a white room, she fell into darkness. She awoke from the dream to find that she had become a demon. In the demon world, she lived a carefree life until she encountered a powerful being.

After such a long time spent living as a demon, before she knew it, spreading in her heart was a yearning for that world of light. She plunged herself into a summoning magic circle that had appeared. Then… when she opened her eyes once again, she had become a human baby.

She was in the Holy Kingdom. She felt fearful: while she was indeed a demon, she only had the strength of a baby. Her being a demon, if discovered, would be terrible. Was she a human or a demon? Would she be able to survive from here on out?

Well then, I feel this one deserve a review.

The summary of this that I can imagine fully align with a comment on volume 2 chapter 3, "The main character is virtuous on the outside but quite savage herself in the inside."

She's the twist of demons and humans, well, yeah, she's a human but reincarnated to be a demon just to be summoned and possessed the body of a baby. The story is somewhat fluffy (with twist) that pretty perfect for filling free time with a light hearted story with some... more>> twist -- to be honest, this one pretty unique itself and I can't imagine another novel that take this kind of approach for reincarnated into non-human (especially demon). The fluffiness that I could feel almost at the level of Uchi Musume for sure. But the dark well established twist gave me some another unexplainable feeling that's somehow, absurdly, also increase my sugar level.

It just... my sugar level... too high.. damn, seriously, Age Progression + Female Protag, it means at some point the protag is a loli! kyaa! *faint <<less

Is pretty good story and I can feel that is going to be much better so for now I'm puting 5/5!, Maybe this will become an harem (reverse harem) but if the character and the story is keep being good I think (how the autor say) being a love story could not be that bad.

The first 4 volumes were an easy 5/5, although the world is really weird and 8 year olds are basically adults... MC is super cute and likes eating souls! Beyond that though, the author notes say she loves templates, and it's clear because she just tries to mash as many as she possibly can into it. There is also time BS, which breaks all logic. Without the time stuff it would still be fun, but I despise poorly-done time travel since it basically deletes any consistency

After about a decade of reading Japanese novels and manga, this one still managed to surprise me over and over again with its absurd but humorous twists.

It's unpredictable in a brilliant way, and with each volume comes an entirely new plot that seems completely separate, but is still connected and serves as further character development.

The plot stretched out a little in some of the later volumes, but picked right back up again.

The world is rich and the author plays with templates as if they had a giant checklist that needed... more>> to be completed, yet manages to fit them in completely without significant incongruence.

And on further positive notes, it's not a (reverse) harem situation, characters aren't dense, and the protagonist is decidedly not a hypocrite who spares her foes - at least if they reach the level of not being insignificant to her in the first place.

There are some descriptions of gore and cruelty, so some reader discretion is advised. I would not recommend this to children.

In one chapter, she deliberately leads some spoilt children to be eaten alive by vampires and their hounds. While punishment for embezzlement is expected, usually one wouldn't be so harsh, and especially children would normally just be reeducated instead. But well, she's a demon.

If I had to mention one weak point, it's that the characters aren't particularly complex. But with how the rest of the story goes, that's barely a detriment.

This is not high literature, nor are the philosophical themes fleshed out, but it is certainly entertaining and manages to create cathartic situations over and over again.

This is probably the best novel I've read in at least a year, maybe more, and I do read quite a bit. <<less

At best, my review is this: Either read books 1+2 only, or read 1-6 and abandon the series currently.

Harunohi's second best work, Yurushia is a fascinating main character and her relationships actually feel like actual people.

There is very little one can say about this series without spoiling it. Volumes 1+2 are by far the best, while Volume 3+4 dont really clearly differentiate themselves from eachother and just blend together, but maintain the low end of the first book's quality spectrum.

... more>> Book 5+6 spring back into excellent territory.

Books 7+8 should be retconned out of existence, as they have no plot relevance WHAT SO EVER to the story. Like to the point where Demon Maid has more plot relevance and that story happens after the conclusion of this one. <<less

This is just so goooood.

I really enjoyed reading it. It has good comedy and enough fluffiness to sometimes make you squirm. The MC and the other characters are just so well thought out which makes the story more interesting. The world building is OK and has no problems for me. All in all this novel is definitely top-notch and a good read if you are looking for something laid-back with a cute MC then this is definitely for you.

Fluff with occasional gore, where MC curbstomps everyone. Fight scenes have little tension, as they are not the focus of the story. Nice worldbuilding. Translation is decent throughout all volumes.

Main character gets reincarnated once again on earth with no memories of her life as a demon while still having her powers. It slowly progresses to monks with super powers exorcising demons to a MC killing a god but obviously she has to get home right! As such she gets involved into a hero summoning hoping to find the secret to world travel there..

Oh man, this novel. Its funny, cute, and brutal and the same time. The author got good sense of humour, even though its dark.

Superb, I never read something like this before. Translation quality also very good.

Unlike Isekai or Tensei genre template story, this story has many elements with interesting twist each chapter.

Protagonist was drifting in void before able to materialize into a *being*. She realize she may have previous life but the memories just a fragment. She then take some interest into living world after involved in great summoning accident and life as Human.

She did know that she was demon and living freely in human world, scheming, taken joy in human emotions and... more>> feast upon it. Also she worshiped as saints both in society and *underworld* especially

This separates in lot arcs and ended with twist with good ending. Author really skillful to make me grin and heart dance. This is the major arcs.

It's a good relaxing novel as long as you don't mind the gorry stuff, and the way the author shape the character is actually nice, with lot's of comedic situation that really follow normal logic, making it easy to comprehend.

Not recommended for those that doesn't like gore and psychological genre as you've been warned by those numerous tags and reviews.

Again if you find some parts boring please endure because it's only temporary, and will be made up by some more exciting plot after it, making it something like world building.

Last... more>> warning, don't expect any pure fluffy story line. They always had to slip in something horror, though not exactly everybody can catch up to the "hidden plot" <<less

This is a personal favourite of mine. The start is a little confusing but after a chapter or 2 it starts making sense. The MC is reincarnated into a demon (the golden beast) she is close with other demons but longs for the human world so attaches herself to a spirit portal and eventually takes over the body of a stillborn infant. From then on out the story is mainly fluffy slice of life... until her demon side emerges and things get crazy.

Yuru is the main character and tries her... more>> hardest to fit into human society but sometimes ends up going off the deep end

Somehow it is between 4 and 5 stars, near 5 stars but because it is pretty early and it could be that the novel will turn into tr*sh, so I will stay with 4 stars.

In general, I really like this novel because there is everything in this novel you would find good. A good and interesting overpowered MC with a good personality who is not completely crazy and yet not your gentle flower. As a result, her actions are not the normal actions the most "i-am-a-japanese-reincarnator" do. Even the side... more>> characters have a personality which is pretty rare today. Also, the plot is really interesting and something new. My only problems are the cliché events and some of the side characters.
