I was looking for romance novels, and without any complicated understanding, I'm glad I found this novel.

The interaction between ML and their son looks funny.

In my opinion, the FL is quite dense but not annoying.

Major thanks to the translator for the daily update.

Why did people rate this high? It honestly is a 4 out of 10 for me. The story is okay. Smut is so plain. The leads are technically OP but for some reason keeps allowing themselves to be bullied.... or maybe both of them are just brainless. Like you were given a very OP gift. Yet you allowed people to continuously harm the FL ... more>>

like I know emperor and ML had contract and if it was me, that will be totally fine. But it's off table if you touch my man/girl. ML basically allowed FL to be harmed numerous times. If the crown prince wasn't a villain, I'd agree with him bigtime that ML doesn't really have anything about him except having OP power and she's better of without him.

And FL isn't fairing any better too. So maybe they're matched made in heaven as they both are dumb and a disappointment.

It's cliche, and because of the miscommunication cliche, it's frustrating in the middle. But it's entertaining. And that is all I wanted and expected from this novel.

The bonus is that there is a surprisingly complex and well thought out backstory to explain the "unexplainable bond/draw" ML and FL has towards each other. And their son being more than just a cute baby. And the many side stories that has no angst or frustration. There is even a part that focuses on the son at school!

The translation is great! The writing style is good. The plot is also fine and tolerable, i've seen worse. Gave it 5 star because of the ML 🫠 really adorable (I'm a simple person). Strong female lead! Also, the whole family relationship is just funny. Classic ML who fell hard to fl. Full of fluff 🫶 a good read when you're bored.

I'm in love with this novel. I'm just being impatient when will the FL and ML will confess their feelings? Yllian is so cute competing with Rosena's attention. Thank you so much for the fast update on this novel.

This is the first novel that I have read until the end. This is not the first novel that I read but all of them except this one was dropped midway I don't know if there is something with Yerhan and Rosena that keep me interested or maybe Illian hahaha. I found this August last year and I got really hooked I think it was only until chapter 65 that time I refreshed the link every day to check for the new chapter (I know a new update is 2 to 4 days but I still check) and now it is the last chapter call me OA but I'm really crying hahahahaha. Thank you to the fantastic translation team. Thanks for the hard work guys please translate more amazing stories like this! <<less

I look forward to every new chapter 😊. There is more plot than smut, but the balance is nice. It's a well written story with a good flow and good characters. The dynamic between father and son is adorable and funny. The story gives off some snow white/ Cinderella vibes in the beginning. The translation is great and chapter release is consistently on time. I hope more people read this story, it's a really good one.

AN HONEST REVIEW.

Seriously it is overrated... like dude this novel is supposed to be of ancient times yet I don't get how everything around the leads sounds so modern... especially the conversation between the leads.... and how can the FL be so ignorant of her own sons true personality... woman you are his MOTHER.... last but not the least... what the heck happened to imperial law or etiquette etc... totally bullshitting.. yeah I totally forgot... this novel was supposed to be smit genre... but it does not live up to... more>> the smut tag... totally disappointed n yeah dropped it midway.. if you wanna waste your yome then go ahead...i was just tryna be kind...
