Actual Female Lead is a modern female gardener or something, tranmigrates into a novel, the original female lead was Lin something, she starts out as a concubine. Yeah, the usual right? So the male lead, Long Heng, is a war god. Also Long Heng has the title 'Prince Li'He's bethrothed to Lin (paste name here), who's a white lotus, she has so many males falling for her, this one dude named Ji something, the jianghu dude, if not for Bai Xiangxiu (the actual female lead) then he would have fallen for Lin something. Lin something gets pregnant, the father seems to be Du something, an enemy country spy, but it's revealed later on that jianghu dude is the father, though no one except Bai Xiangxiu is aware of this. Oh yes, meanwhile, Long Heng and Bai Xiangxiu fall in love. Bai Xiangxiu becomes pregnant, she gives birth to Long Lin, her first son. Then Long Heng goes to war, the enemy uses a strategy that ancient people wouldn't know, *boom* a transmigrator appears. Her name starts with a 'S', though I forgot. Bai Xiangxiu rushes toward Long Heng's location, provides the solution to the strategy, then the enemy uses a very weak dynamite, Bai Xiangxiu has a cactus that can talk and with its spines it can listen in on conversations plus it can also predict the future. So she tells the cactus to show her how to make dynamite, she provides 100 or so to the army but keeps the recipe to herself. Then the army gets betrayed by a commander or something, Bai Xiangxiu is kidnapped by Commander Lu, an enemy commander and the brother of Du something, she has a devil's snare plant. This plant can grant one wish if the user drops blood on it. She wishes for everyone within 10 or so steps from her to faint, she escapes the prison and comes across Lin something and Commander Lu, Commander Lu, who just wants to preserve the last bloodline of his brother, commands Lin something to give the child, a baby boy, to him. She refuses and throw the poor child to an area with bushes, coincidentally this is where Bai Xiangxiu was lurking, she jumps out to try to save him but not even a martial arts master could, let alone her. Lin something goes crazy and claims that Bai Xiangxiu killed him. Commander Lu captures Bai Xiangxiu again and orders the burial of the child. Then Bai Xiangxiu escapes with the help of Song Jiaoyue (the best friend of Long Heng who also has a crush on her) and Yu Kuang (the wulian alliance head, who has a split personality, Yu Kuang also likes Bai Xiangxiu). They get back to the army's camp. Somewhere along this story Long Heng destroys 'S' something's face.

Lin something gets sold to a brothel too. The emperor, who was already at odds with Long Heng, prevents Long Heng from delivering the finishing blow to the enemy country. They return to the capital. Long Heng gets Bai Xiangxiu pregnant again. Bai Xiangxiu is promoted to Princess Consort Li. Long Heng fakes death to lure out 'S' something and the Emperor (quite the annoying guy), leads the army out to war. The emperor dies and Prince Rong, the emperor's only surviving brother, succeeds the throne. Long Heng reveals that he isn't dead and together with Bai Xiangxiu they kill 'S' something. Bai Xiangxiu gives birth to twins a male and female. Prince Rong, unable to withstand the pressure, abdicates the throne and gives it to Long Heng. From that time onwards, there would be at least one descendant of the Long bloodline that can hear the cactus.
