In the latest chapter that I read, the male lead actually wanted to marry someone else as his official wife because of the emperor's decree and he expects the FP to understand him and still love him. Later, he had the guts to expect her to throw a tantrum so that he may feel loved due to FP acting out due to jealousy. This is totally the fault that the FP is a concubine. So sad, at one point the FP thought he wouldn't marry the official wife (miss Lin).

This is a transmigrator, romantic, slice of life story set in a novel with ancient China as the theme. The FP was reading the novel before she was transmigrated 'into' it, except our FP has a talking cactus that only she can listen to, so she uses that to listen on other people's conversation via the child cactus that's in the radius of the speakers.

I applauded the author for making the normally hated weak, damsel in distress type female MC (I won't say female lead because then it'll get BXX confused with LQZ) less likely to be hated and ten times more adorable by making the female lead, LQZ, more annoying. (I would say a million but she was already cute in the silly, clutzy, slightly kiddy, small animal-y way) At the same time the FMC isn't completely weak, it just takes 130 chapters to prove it. The ML is so lovely too... bashful, dominating, awkward, possessive and determined to be gentler just for our FMC who can't go 10 chapters without at least 10 injuries and 20 misunderstandings. The FL isn't totally loathesome but you get the 'What the hell are you doing?!' or 'is she s*upid or what?' kind of thoughts. If you like this one then in some ways it's similar to Demonic King Chases His Wife, only I think BXX is less annoying then SL (at least SL before chapter 1180+), it's japanese counterpart would have to be Record of a Self Proclaimed Villainess' Fiance and I reincarnated into an otome game's villainess with only destruction flags.
