MC was held against her will by a guy, and her cultivation restricted. Her life was in danger because of the guy, and she lets him live after she gains her freedom. Then, a villain appears that keeps coming back from the dead. The only reason she killed the MC and her family in the past life, and attempting the same in the current life, because ML rejected her. What did it for me, the MC finally reconnects with her current blood family. Also finds her reincarnated son, who she witness tortured and killed by villain in past life. Yet, she spends more time with ml, then ML leaves (to protect MC from powerful sect) to a different realm, and she follows immediately leaving her family behind. Immediately in the new realm, she meets a “beautiful” man, and a jealous girl.

One particular scene was a servant of the ML trying to get them to have s*x so that both of them can be protected from their enemies, bit shady with the use of date r*pe drugs and expectation of becoming the ML's concubine but does that warrant the ML sending her to be eaten alive by snakes? They even say it's the most horrible torture he has

Even though I could see the proper development of the MC, the supporting characters come and go too much. Especially to what I think was some important character like her eldest son whom disappeared halfway through the story and came back at the final chapter. Well, I do understand that they are focusing on the son and daughter of the MC in her current lifetime, both of which have mysterious power behind them. I just wonder where all the organizations and every piece of land that she conquered have gone to. Even the jumping of era where she fell onto some time warp and got time traveled to one of her lifetimes which is the future where she also died. And did I mention that she have 3 sets of parents? First from her current lifetime, second, her parents in her future lifetime and third, her father at her previous lifetime? Yes, they all appeared in the story thank you.

The adopted sister who actually poisoned the MC only got humiliated by her, but the younger sister, who ab*sed the MC verbally, was attacked by other men while the MC watched and forced by the Ghost King to marry a disfigured fella who has sadistic tendencies and already claimed two lives. For example, that girl called an old man a beggar and the proper response for a man that old, a grandmaster of a sect to boot, is to kick a brat with no innate powers into a tree? Really?

The MC is the reincarnation of the super strong alchemist called Senior Yue. The ML is also the reincarnation of her lover in past life. That one girl from their past life wanted to marry ML so she killed all their family, amputated their son and finally killing them in heaven tribulation because they got distracted from seeing their son's condition. She is supposed to be the main villain (although her reason for being a villain is s*upid and ridiculous). However, after being a c*ckroach from time to time, she finally died unsatisfactorily, which lead to the lack of villains!Then the story goes like this-MC goes to a new continent (which obviously has stronger people), get provoked by some random dudes or b**ches, MC retaliates them, a strong "wild"Elder appears who always seem to be on the right time, beats MC up, ML shows up, MC says" this is my fight", MC get a breakthrough in the middle of the fight, the Elder or some other dudes from that something something sects are killed, the sects hunt her down, then MC and ML somehow destroy those sects. This cycle repeats again and again.

Next, the MC has the terrible case of Dark Horse or underdog fetish. Her enemies never know about her. She says that the strong invites trouble. Then she goes on and show off in unimportant "competitions" by being an underdog and then beating the most popular person. No wonder she has so much enemies. One time, her alchemy level is so high but the cauldron she takes to the competition has low rank badge (alchemist skills are identified by that badge), for NO reason and then show off her super skills in font of normies. Also, she is said to be a beauty that could cause the fall of the country but I only see one guy and the ML that fall for her. All other males (and obviously females) hate her. Too much for being a beauty, huh.
