CUTE AF!!! I'm stuffed with dogfood!! The relationship between the MC and the ML progresses one step at a time so it's not too fast or slow, just the right pace. Love how they respect and support each other as well. Though I would have loved to see them meet the ML's parents in the novel.

Although I do agree that the beginning of the couple's love was somewhat abrupt and wasn't shed light on at the beginning phases, the latter development was enough dog food.

While the dog blood drama is still there, the author managed to make it humorous and satisfying without the dog blood drama continuing on and on and spoiling enthusiasm because I just ain't into that.

Overall, it's a nice read with an interesting front and a pleasant development afterwards.

Despite being a short story with only 41 chapters, it's full of sweetness and love, full of happiness and sadness. The course if events go really smoothly and you won't get too much of excitement but still it's exciting enough to read it eagerly till it finishe.

The couple are too sweet and you'll be feed with lot of dog food during these 41 chapter. And about the main characters, well, at first I've never expected Tang kai to have this much of change in character and I was like wow... more>> Are you the professor Tang we read about at the start of the story?!!!!! Love can really change people and I've never expected that he would get shy!!!!! Augh damn cute. Across from them sun zinan really have attractive character and also he was shorter I've thought he would be the top but well... Life is full of unexpected situations just like how a fake gf come out of nowhere in the middle of the story.

All in all, what got me more was.... I Had No idea that this story is related to golden stage and when I saw Fu tangxiu and Prince Sun in their second life are here I was like WTF IS GOING ON HERE?! And I should say I was expecting there would be a scene where I could see fuyan couple in there second life here. Hence it didn't happen.

Not bad. A lot better than Golden Stage to be honest. The side characters are pretty decent with one having a small arc which is pretty nice.

A couple that appeared in GS also appeared. Although not much exposure, their appearance is pretty welcome.

Though minor issue is that the family of MC have very closely similar names. I actually had a confusion on who's who.

Amazing novel, there's no useless drama, very realistic, there's no weird plot twists, basically this novel is awesome.

This is a modern au fix-it fic of the author's other novel, Golden Stage. I don't think you need to have read the first to understand this one though. And I have to say I didn't enjoy it as much. It's 1000% fluff and I really need some angst/plot to balance out the domestic stuff and keep me interested. Otherwise it's a quite funny romcom with a decent translation and just the right length (<50 chapters). i really loved this. I loved 'golden stage' and I'm starting to really like this author !

I'm most surprised by the family stuff and how accurate it was. I didn't expect to relate to a rich character who 'has everything' but the trauma from a toxic family upbringing is so long-lasting and she really got that affect right. And it was nice to see him grow and free himself from his turmoil.

can't tell you what this meant to me at that moment read it. It's inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, even a bit silly to me that a c-novel could shift my thinking, but with this I can find a book I will always remember. I feel like I was given permission too.

if you're looking for a light read but also something pretty profound or even if you can relate to it. I'm around the same age as MC but different in many ways but I think many people with traumatic childhoods can really relate to his struggle. She has a knack for getting familial relationships down and acknowledging awful parental guidance/parents

some technical aspects I think could be worked on but I'm beginning to think that the pacing/cadence of literature in our languages are just so different (as opposed to obvious bad writing.)

the relationship is really beautiful and fun. Oh also I wish she would write more female characters but I think it's so cool who she had his best friend be. You know it's also really nice to make fun of a bunch of capitalists.

A really well written recent-times story from the author of the Golden Stage (GS AU, reincarnated Sun Lao & Fu Tingxin appear too <3).

While the situations MC & ML go through are not exactly original or way too creative, they are realistic and support the development of the main characters as a couple. And since that's the main reason behind my BL addiction, this is hands down my Fav.

'Hasty marriage seldom proveth well.' The only thing I can say is Shakespeare was so wrong.

I really enjoyed this book, I loved how their failed first impressions slowly turned into a blossomed into love. They are just so lovely and the fact that they trust each other and love each other so much makes me like them so much. Their tenderness for each other as they interact is just a delight to read. The two characters are portrayed really well and the balance between them is so perfect. The way they first met was 'rough' but slowly, they started to understand each other and start to love one another was so sweet. The fact that they are so realistic and don't force their opinion on one another makes me realize how much they trust and respect each other.

I really hated MC's father, he really is a cruel and worthless father, his actions towards the MC has scarred the MC in so many ways. I really despise his character. All in all, the MC grew up quite wonderfully despite him being ostracized by his family. I really like how the two uncles of MC were part of his life and gave him the love he deserves.

Well written, cute with a dash of family drama added in. I know it was 41 chapters but felt much shorter, probably because the story flowed well and I couldn’t stop reading. I was surprised to see it was connected to Golden Stage, I can barely remember anything about Golden Stage so I actually didn’t notice until I read the translator’s note lol.

A good read if you’re looking for something short with a tooth-rottingly sweet HE.

Just here to give it 5/5 stars cuz it was sooo good! The ending, the character development, the fluffy, the romance, the drama, the background stories was perfect! It was just such a beautiful story! Very satisfying = Must read (again) !

This is a very sweet story!

There is minimal angst, comedic undertones, and characters that actually communicate!

Both the MC and ML are mature when necessary and childish when together, it creates a nice balance between them.

FLFL was an incredible good surprise, I'd already very high expectations because is from the same author of golden stage - one of my favorites novels - and it didn't disappointed me at all; it's a story about an adult matured love, I enjoyed so much the fact that they didn't rushed things and just followed in a slow pace, in the whole story just a misunderstanding happens and it's easily solved by a conversation between both of them, I loved it 'cause I'm so tired of the usual cliché... more>> twists and turns caused by the lack of conversation.
