I skipped like the last 20 chapters to go to the last one, but I’m pretty sure it didn’t affect much of my understanding of the story.

I really liked the book at first. Especially since it’s a polyandry book. But as you go down to further reading it gets tedious. I don’t know if it’s because I’m mtl-ing the novel or I just lost interest.

Either way, it’s not a bad book but it also isn’t a good book in my opinion.

This is the most reasonable "girl transmigrates and forms a harem" story I've come across so far but it's still pretty mediocre. The MC seems pretty level headed and most of the characterization is pretty reasonable. But the MC is shown as an extremely weak character incapable of standing up for herself and allowing herself to be bullied and going along with whatever happens. The level of patriarchy and misogyny is pretty extreme and the worst part is that the person displaying the worst case of misogyny (Li Yan) never... more>> gets called out and gets rewarded over and over for his behavior. At least 2 of the MLs (Li Shu and Li Yan) who are well built men are shown being repeatedly violent and kicking mob characters including middle aged women and it is treated as something common place without any consequences. The level of colorism is extreme. All descriptions of the MC is about her frailty and her white and almost transparent complexion making everyone swoon over her. All other women are derided as dark or fat.

I completed the 215 translated chapters (about 95 of the original) and MTLed another 100. It was kind of interesting initially despite its many shortcomings but later devolved into random incidents that follow the same script (someone being after the MC or one of the MLs) and getting resolved quickly. The relationship between the MC and the MLs instead of becoming more equal keeps becoming more and more unequal with the MC pretty much enabling Li Yan's bad behavior including mol*sting her in public. About half the novel is a decent read for the genre but you might just as well skip this one. <<less

Translations for this novel is really great, but the story itself is pretty lackluster. The pacing is slow and draggy (I don't think it's been a month since MC transmigrated in and it's c98 for raws) especially when it comes to dealing with *important* information ... more>>

Exhibit 1: MC's marriage to the Li boys took ages for MC to know and it took 1 crying girl crushing on Li Yan to blurt it out

Exhibit 2: Big Aunt Li hates beautiful MC for seemingly no reason and they keep brushing it under the carpet for later

Otherwise, I'm happy that the MLs are distinct in their own ways and not just ML #1, #2, #3, etc. Big brother Li Mo is especially endearing and the typical doting ML I like!

Also learnt about the existence of fraternal polyandry through this novel lol it's interesting.

MC is not as appealing as I'd thought she would be but that's her character after getting worn down by her previous life's MIL, husband, health... 囧 Not great but from other reviews, she gets better later on.

I actually want to finish this but I'll probably keep it on the back burner until I feel like continuing 囧 Would recommend reading this if you have time to spare and the patience! <<less

I love this so much. The heroine is thoughtful, rational and calm. I prefer slow paced romance and this is perfect. Cant wait for the upcoming chapters as it's getting very interesting now

It was nice, but like other people I thought that sometimes the reading would become tedious, and aside from the first time with the first brother, the second and the fourth the author didn’t bother to really describe when they would be intimate with the others (the fifth husband barely had any action in that regard)

Could be better, but also it could be a lot worse.

for anyone else wanting to read all of the novel you have to look for a few pages that have mtl’.

I realized that I am actually now skipping chapters. I am obsessed with any reverse harem novels, but suddenly in this novel, I lost my interest to continue. The only reason why? Because of the FL. I decided to read some reviews of this novel here in NU, and it's not unexpected that the reviews of the readers who give negative overall are exactly the same as what I was going to review. This novel is actually good, just the FL is kind of boring. Do you know what I... more>> mean? I can't take how her mindset works, like she is scared of everything. It's not that I don't like her just because she was not overpowered. It was her personality and behavior that is not very likable. And guess what? I am not also satisfied with the NP here; it's kinda boring. It's like you are living with 5 muscular men, but the scenes of the NP are kinda boring and bland. The FL is a 10-year married woman in her past life, but she acts shy and like a teenager. Seriously, it's annoying. <<less
