The worldbuilding in this is really good! I feel there is a good balance between descriptions, inner monologue, and plot progression. I was able to read all the way through without getting bored as the pacing is great-- when the plot is slow the character development fills in.

The main character is realistic for her age. She's quite clever, but is still a kid thrown into an extreme survival situation. She breaks down and cries, but then she gets up and does what she has to to survive.

Although the ML does... more>> "save" her, to some degree it's almost like... He does it partly to keep control of her, not because she is innately helpless without him. Although the beast people continually call her weak and fragile, that really just extends to her being human and not a beast. She herself is remarkably enduring, and even dangerous.

The cultural dufferences between different tribes and humans is quite interesting. I felt there is a good balance where the MC keeps a hard line on her values and changes some things for the better, but at the same time it doesn't go into "my culture is just better and yours is tr*sh." She respects their differences and recognizes how it comes from their differing environments.

I am glad that the r*pe tag was included as a warning. There is a lot of normalized r*pe culture among the beast people. There are two instances where the MC is attacked by beast men other than the ML and has to defend herself, though neither gets very graphic.

The ML's assaults do get more graphic. It's odd for me to review it as a survivor myself. I will say it has a lot of the common gross stuff like "I won't be able to hold back next time" lines. It's not as bad as a lot of other things I've read, and I think it's because the MC retains agency in the story even when other people try to take it away. Worth noting I don't think there is much of an age difference between MC and ML given the difference in body development between humans and beastmen. ML by my calculations should be between 14-16 years old at the start of the story while the MC is 16.

There is discussion of consent the MC and ML to some degree. The beast people don't really have a concept of consent-- literally the MC talks with a beast woman about it and she doesn't understand. There are a lot of problems in the relationship, and it could definitely be argued that the MC has Stolkholm Syndrome. But I do feel she is given agency by the narrative rather than being a passive character that others act upon.

For me, because of this I'm able to enjoy it for what it is. The writing is good, the worldbuilding is great, the characters are interesting. The story also doesn't shy away from bodies and directly addresses things like menstruation and birth control. I learned that folks in ancient China folded ash inside cloth and used it as a pad. They also address how the human reproductive cycle is much more brutal than most other mammals.

(Interesting article here: https://aeon. co/essays/why-pregnancy-is-a-biological-war-between-mother-and-baby)

The ending had a few things that I felt we're unbelievable
Spoiler

(ML can suddenly read Chinese, knows how to drive a car, was able to find a black market etc. WTF?)

[collapse]
but it was still satisfying so I could overlook it.

Overall, if you can accept standard consent failure that is typical of romance novels, then it is definitely worth a read. I really loved it! <<less

This story was sweet, sweet, and only sweet I can taste,... Haha

I look at the 'rape' tags, but, really,.. there is no r*pe at all,... MC and ML both want to do it.... Haha,

And also,... This is was good story, the MC was kind, although the ML kinda possesive in the end, but, he doing it, couse he loved MC so much...

... more>> Altough the story kinda lack explanation, and have hole plots...

Like,... Until know, I don't understand why ML can be normal again, when MC put him on her backpack,.. etc,...

But, when I read the end, its was good enough,.. <<less

I loved this.

If you are tired of strong, cunning, OP Mc's and wants to read a kinda (? Lol em not sure too hahaha) light and fluffy (? Whooops) genre, this one's for you.

The story is lovable and it's plot—although cliche, the way it was written is refreshing. I like how the worldbuilding was taken in account and how the MC and ML was designed.

The MC is weak, fragile, clumsy yet at the same time strong and courageous. She is in the midst of a nowhere in a new... more>> world and her emotions and feelings were realistically portrayed—not just in one chapter but the proceeding chapter too. Her inner conflicts, her struggles, all of it was displayed, offered so the readers could digest it slowly.

The ML is a beast—and he stayed like that till the end. THUMBS UP TO THAT AUTHOR! He didn't hide his flaws, he didn't change but adjusted instead: He makes sure no blood scent is there when he hunts, he learned "human" things and such just so he could please his "spouse".

I felt the ending was quite rushed—but the novel was still good nonetheless.A good read I must say! ? <<less

I hesitated at first, but after the first few chapter, I got addicted to it. It's not because of the story and such but because of the MC, who had to find ways to get back to her original world. Even after knowing the danger that's awaiting her, she still had a very high hope in life that it would get better if she managed to get towards her goal which's what I like about her.

Spoiler

She also managed to save the cub with her life which in return, the cub, changed his perspective of her into that of a very "Possessive Characters" having to change the rules on the clan for her own safety and his love for her...

Just by saying all this, it's tempting me to re-read the whole story again! <<less

16-year-old girl time travels into a scary beastman world.

Pro 1: When she is taking care of the little leopard, she is a caring, competent person with an inter dimensional space.

Pro 2: The ML usually respects her wishes, eventually.

... more>> Pro 3: Happy ending

Con 1: For about 85% of the novel, the FL is a scared/crying/injured/bleeding/super fragile/overwhelmed 16-year-old minor in a world of violent/aggressive beastmen who want to take her.

Con 2: Cannibalism - carnivore beastmen eat herbivore beastmen, but since all mammals are intelligent/human-like, they're basically eating people (even though there are fish and chickens in the story). This actually disturbed me a lot, and but the author just describes it and moves on

Con 3: Women's status - in the feline tribes, there are very few women and they are all shared amongst all the beastmen and can't say no. Yuck. 16 yo FL is horrified and doesn't want it to happen to her, but shows no sympathy or help to the other females (this is another one of those stories where the FL has no female friends, only males interact with her)

Con 4: FL is just a basket of bad decisions. Risking her life constantly for a random animal she finds, running off into danger repeatedly, accepting the SML's help but never being kind back, loses all common sense in the beastmen world (but is supposedly smart and competent in the human world), for all her technological knowledge and interdimensional space she only chooses to use 1 item to benefit/advance the beastmen world
Spoiler

after spending years in the human world, going to college, and deciding to return to the beastman world for good, etc.

[collapse]

Wish: This novel could have been so much better if she had already graduated from college, become an adult, and then travelled to the beastman world, dealt with all the s-xual aggression and tension and used her knowledge and space to benefit the beastman world and make lasting, positive changes. But instead it was uncomfortable to read as she was a fragile, panicking 16 yo for almost the entire novel. <<less

This story is not your typical transmigrated-to-a-beastman-world story. This is more on adventure than romance, the romance only on the half end of the story. But all in all, this story is a great read. The FL is physically weak but mentally strong. Despite being thrown to another world alone, instead of losing hope and giving up, she never stops fighting. She will come face-to-face with beings a lot more stronger than her but she still finds it in herself to care for others in the face of danger. I'll... more>> say it again, a great read and you'll never regret it. <<less

That was an enjoyable read. The plot was one of the few that slightly deviated from the normal transmigration novel.

I really appreciated the values of the MC and her adamant insistence to go back to her own world to reunite with her family. It showed that familial ties were important to her and shows her dedication. Also, she's not overpowered and portrayed a more realistic transmigrator which added to her appeal to me.

The ML also had an endearing character even with his strong possessive tendencies which was still acceptable to... more>> me considering the world he was used to. His efforts and dedication to our MC was more than enough to offset his flaws since he did strived to improve himself which was apparent on the latter parts of the novel.

The ending was also delighful to read and gave me the satisfaction of completing the novel. <<less

This actually started as a good read, but the ending was just disappointing.

It's like, when the ending came, the whole world just fudging ended because it's the fudging ending!

Heck, if the author just changed the half part (near end) of the book, it could've been a very amazing and memorable novel.

It's an entertaining story about a modern girl surviving in a formidable beastkin world using only her wit and OP space abilities, saving a cute leopard cub along the way who later grows to be a possessive, powerful fiend.

ML is forceful by human standards, but pretty soft and relenting on MC considering his nature and the world setting - he changes their norms to make her his spouse, agrees to hold back on skinship, and even uses birth control (tho' for his own reasons...). MC is pretty dang smart, I... more>> dunno what I was doing at 16, but I certainly didn't know about magnetising compasses or creating gunpowder by reverse engineering firecrackers (I still don't).

There are a number of unresolved mysteries that would count as plotholes...

Spoiler

... like, how does her magical space work (can heal, teleport, and undo the cub-ification), how did the leopard become small in the first place, how was she so certain she could travel back and forth using the 1002 tree (and transport someone with her)... (; ̄ー ̄川

Overall, the taser-wielding MC is likeable, the story is exciting, and I happen to like my fictional men beastly and possessive, so I can overlook any minor flaws and say I enjoyed this one.

I hope they released poor, innocent turtle Pat. ఠ_ఠ <<less

I actually really like this story, it doesn’t have too much drama, theres a lot of heartwarming scenes and I really loved the FL’s personality. The ending was really satisfying for me, and overall I would give it a 9/10. I always keep coming back to read this story.

I love it! MC's space is so OP. I love ML. He's so possessive. I like it. Hihi, he really loves the MC.

Spoiler

After MC left him, he became so indifferent. Living but not really. Became even scarier and desperate to get her back again. And when MC came back for him, at first he was very sceptical with her. He was scared of her leaving him again. He was traumatized, the poor thing. He was even reluctant to come inside the cave after the hunt because he was scared he'll experience the same thing again where MC left hi. But overtime, MC got him to trust her that she won't leave him ever again. And yay, I really love the happy ending. ML was also OP in the human world. Dayum, already sufficient in the black market. Wow. HAHAHAHAH I really loved it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It was cute, funny and different from all other isekai tropes out there (i chose isekai because the MC did went to a different world here)

I like it so much that I even made an account just so I could rate this and tell you guys to read it. So why the 4 stars? Something happened in the last few chapters that I really didn't like. Lol.

But trust me, it kinda picked itself up in the end so no worries there. Also, the translation... more>> is superb! It was very easy to understand and follow through. <<less

Tho the MC is weak and always need the heroic saving of the ML, I still find this story sweet and an enjoyable read.

The possessiveness of the ML didn't bother me and I finished the novel wanting more.

Read this for the fluff!?

Dude this is the first NU novel I read. First time I was "woww" but reading this again, I realized that whenever and wherever the MC is in trouble, the ML always, alwaysssss helps her. For real, I'm tired with this scene.

I wanna give a 3, but that time, when I was reading this for the first time, I felt a, like a, well, hard to explain but for sure this story made my chest feels like, not ba-dum ba-dum but kinda of.

Debating whether I should give it a 3.5 or 4 stars.

Story is okay, there are cute moments. ML is yadere-ish

Spoiler

but I think he didn't kill any rival directly. More like, only injured them so bad til they really hang on a single thread of life

[collapse]

It got it's happy ending, but there're still a lot of plot holes

Spoiler

like why did she have that space. How did she crossed over. Etc.

Overall, it's an okay read.
