First of all it was one of the greatest bl novels that i've read, well written, well translation, novel near ending made my heart beat faster and THIS STORY IS FULL OF SWEETNESS SO I HAVE DIABETES.... :-D..... nevermind

But.... there were a few flows that we can ignore them.

There are questions that I have to ask!

  1. About Yuhe family.
  2. May Yuhe and that person he did act as be relatives?
  3. School life of Yuhe and Cao Qiyue and our darling ml.
  4. Cao Qiyue background
  5. I needed more details and stories in extras.........

I like the rebirth trope not so much the actor trope because I don’t like reading about a movie role etc but I enjoyed this one. I also can’t stand all the netizen/water army stuff it’s so cringe. I liked the relationship between the characters very satisfying it was sweet and steady.

A very good and relaxing read despite the overused rebirth troupe. The romance is there though subtle, the face slaps very satisfying. The MC and ML are well written, love their interactions with each other and other characters. The ending was really sweet. I'll definitely be reading this again, when I need to decompress.

It's okay I'd say it's a 3.8. Just like the description said tbh, nothing more nothing less. What I hoped to know before getting into the story was that it was really focused on MC's career instead of love life. I expected more fluff and I don't feel like my fluff-o-meter is full enough, so I give it a 4.

A lot of other people already mentioned it, but I still read it so it's my fault haha. Maybe It's beacuse I have read so many BL's I have just become... more>> kind of numb to stories like these so it might be a 4 for you.

Overall I give it a 3.8. Plot is okay, ML is kind of bland but it's fine. <<less

The story is good... gets a bit lagging inbetween but not too much... the characters are beautifully written and even though both the MC and ML were not ready to say their feelinbs out loud even after they knew they liked each other irked me a bit, ultimately it was resolved.... thanking the author and the translator for bringing us this piece of gem💎🙏

I really liked the "real-life" incident or story of Bo-ying. This is a growing issue in many countries... I feel sad and can't even imagine the stress that they woukd have gone through in their lives.... I am so glad that they have a voice now...

My brain was snoozing lol

Maybe it’s because this is my third entertainment novel in a row & the last one tired me out... OR perhaps this was just a bit too bland for me. I do love the premise; I loved the starter hook chapter 1 gave. But the plot just felt flat. It’s not a bad novel, but in its own category of reborn-revenge-showbiz stories, it’s average.

Definitely still try your luck; you may enjoy it!

I love characters that feel alive and real. It feels like this story stays rooted in reality for the most part and I can't help but marvel at the great writing. Our MC has his shortcomings for sure, but he overcomes them eventually. The ML is also very likable.

One of my favorite things about this novel is that the MC isn't portrayed as a god of acting from the get go. Yes, he's a great actor and that's a source of pride for him. But he still has to overcome... more>> difficulties regarding the same.

Considering his past experience, he obviously knows what despair is. But when time came for him to play the role of a man struck by poverty, he realized that he couldn't apply the same kind of despair in this kind of act. He's not invincible in his field and acting obviously doesn't work like that.

Just why was the last story/movie so f*cking sad!? Oh my God! It's a movie inside a novel. Not even a part of the novel itself! Why was it so detailed and sad! This is unfair 😭 and it's true story-turned movie inside a novel at that.

Although, I do wish they had put more emphasis on acting and other details which were explained in short sentences, I also understand that not many people would be as enthusiastic about reading those details as I am.

Well, if you're to read about acting for long~long chapters, we'd have to change the title to "Life once again" (A Korean slice of life, romance novel where the MC is an actor).

Anyways, it's a good read. <<less

I'm very bad at words so I'm gonna try to explain it as short as possible.

I love how realistic the author wrote MC and ML. Many scenes might be there to show how good their acting skill is yada yada BUT the way their thoughts and feelings were being written in the story is so realistic. I can't say it's amazingly realistic or such but most of entertainment circle danmeis lack this kind of feeling

Good read. I really enjoy this type of plot. Instead of focusing on the revenge after he went back in time, the novel focused more on the MC improving his life and resolve (?) his regrets in his past life. The pace of the novel is not baddd... a little draggy at some parts but overall still not bad. (Though I did not really enjoy the game show part since it was a little too confusing. But the end of the gameshow is good :>)

Some of the reviews mentioned... more>> that the ML had little scenes in this novel and I do agree with it. However, the main reason for this is because the novel focuses more on the MC and him trying to lead a better life, and not on the romance. Butbut! I have to say that the romance part is so cute and sweet. Though the scenes of them together aren't a lot, but whenever they are together it's super cute and heartwarming.

Overall I think that this novel is a good read. Though not as wonderful and perfect as other entertainment and rebirth novels, but good enough to enjoy it. <<less

It's very interesting to read..I liked MC and ML very much.. Their tactical understanding and sincere love is something I felt very much throughout the novel and I wanted romance to begin earlier.. ML's patience to MC.. Ah I don't what to say but it gave a very gentle feeling and sincerity.. The character settings are very good.. Although I want somewhat rough revenge on the villian but this way of revenge is different from other novels..

So far this Novel is Absolutely Wonderful!

It slightly different feel compared to many other Second chance or/and Showbiz novel.

  • MC immediately get challenged by the Butterfly effect when he changed his route. But he still keep going and calm and ambitious.
  • ML's role. Lots of novel usually put ML's role in the Novel as Equal Important as MC's or give him Lots of Big Moments. But not in this novel. ML IS Important for MC! We get to see his Affections toward MC. We know how much he did for MC in the previous life because MC mentioned it few times. We know few his (ML's) thought toward MC. But his scenes in the Novel, for someone being the second most important character in the novel under the MC, he wasn't so Big. Probably his scenes is only a little bit more than MC's Agent? He still very good character though.
  • And so far no heavy revenge happen? No big face slapping scene toward individual characters, at least not like the beginning of the story.
Anyway the novel so far so good. Great MC and ML and has great Supporting Side Characters.

I would update the review when the novel finish. Pray the rest of the story won't disappoint us! 🙏🙏🙏

Am really happy with what am reading so far because the MC takes time to let it sink in that he's reincarnated afterall it's not everyday that someone goes back in it, the author took time to give a detailed description of his reaction which helps to keep the story real however;

Am still bewildered by the antagonist's motives that don't justify his cruelty to the MC I mean failing to marry an heiress of a wealthy family doesn't call for burning someone alive to death, right?

WoW this is a good read till this point for sure.

Like the pace, not much drama just enough. And the romance has a spark already.

Rarely get this type of Novels.

Like the most that he is not focused on revenge and he is taking it slowly but smartly. Also the movie date end was so cute. Cant wait for more from them.

Other people have already said what needs to be said about this novel. I was very satisfied with it. It's easy-going while also immersive. The MC was smart about planning his life while also experiencing his own character growth. The ML was someone who knew what he wanted and gently going about getting it. His character setting was really refreshing - he's the type who can socialize and befriend anyone, unlike the certain popular iceberg types. He was both a contrast and a complement for the MC's character that was... more>> originally unsociable and withdrawn. Overall, their relationship was really sweet and the novel was written with care.

I have only one warning for you guys about two of the three extras. This author is actually quite proficient in writing tragedies and she fully flexed her skill in those extras. Reading them after the happy end was an experience for sure. They're dealing with the past life. Thankfully, she still wrote the third extra to soothe my heart. <<less

It's alright, I'm getting strong scents of Mary-Sue-ness, plus it seems like the ML got attracted too easily.

The novel is great despite using the typical tropes; revenge, rebirth, ect.

The MC isn't OP either, sure he acts well but the author expands on how characters actors play have more depth and reconstruction to bring them alive on screen.

As for the ML, he's very understanding and just an overall great ML.

TBH, he's usually so gentle so when he asked the MC if he wanted to be treated roughly during s*x because the MC was sad abt his past life it just made my tummy clench. Hot mama. You'll understand when you get there. It really emphasized their relationship
