The second half is not my favourite, after marriage and every palace scenes in it are quite slow and shallow, some are just summarized, the villains that look so fiece die easily than expected. Not so dramatic battle between the ML and villains. (They all die by diseases)

He investigated and found out she died and other things, then he met a Taoist priest who told him he missed his destined one, he slept and woke up, he's 19 again and pursued Yujin.

like when her biological mom tried to snatch her dowry for her sister, and her adoptive mom did not even try to come when she called for help. But ninth Uncle came to save the day.

After she became a princess, although she told her family she's not gonna pull them up, they have to work for that themselves, she never restricted them from using her influence unless they step out of line. She also helped her sister several times when she's wronged by her mother-in-law and husband.

She thinks the MC (Yujin) robbed her of her husband because she originally saved him, but technically, MC also saved him and he fell in love at first sight with MC. Then he got confused and thought he got manipulated by MC to get a good marriage. The twin sister dwelled on the fact that MIL and her got along well in the first lifetime and she was always protected at home so she expects the same thing to happen at the current lifetime and always blames the MC for being too perfect when things go bad. Things gets revealed later on that the original husband really loves MC but she died during childbirth and he didn't take care of her well. So he tried to transfer his love to the twin but couldn't forget the MC afterall. Anyway, he's an idiot. The twin is a bigger idiot. I think she never even tried to fix her marriage eventhough the MC already gave her some hints on how she can fix it. She just keeps complaining and crying and fighting the MIL. She got her comeuppance.

The ML is not much older than her. It's only 5 years.

How she never relied on anyone else but herself. Yet we'll find her unconsciously seeking for his help.

How she never ran to maintain her image. Yet we saw her ran to him.

She even got the strength during labor because she can't bear the thought of leaving him alone

there were just a bit too much time spent on the sister. But its nothing excessive, it's just that I didn't really like her, and I'd glady trade those chapters for more Yujin + Chengjin time. They do offer another perspective to the story though.

I think the novel has a lot more potential unexploited. The author could easily continue a second book that covers the reign of the couple after enthronement. I understand why it ended here though, but who doesn't want to see yujin disciplining her son ? Who doesn't want to see her daughter become badass?

• He's sad that he didn't know her birthday and that seemed like a big deal considering his anger.... but then they never celebrate it later? I mean... There's a scene one year later and I was expecting him to at least greet her, even if it's a few days late.
• What happened to some people who were pretty important before? ie, what happened to Lin?? Also, what happened to all the stuff she was hiding to save for her dowry? I'm always curious about what happens to these villas, farmlands, and shops... Did she ever figure out the glaze shop? XD;

I think I love the MC because she is so strong. There is no one she can rely on but herself and everyone disdains her for being perfect and they all want her to fall from her pedestal. But she struggles against it and she tries to choose the perfect candidate to be her husband but the ML catcher her doing that. LOL.

She said this to the ML at some point: When fate never expects us to stand, we should strive more

So much pain in just that one sentence. She is so strong. ≪3

Also, it was so funny when she tried to eavesdrop on the ML and her grandfather's conversation but gets more than what she bargained for. Haha.

And met the crown prince who is hiding as her illegitimate young uncle.

The princess (the adopted mother) didn’t love her and her real mother felt alienated. The sisters were jealous of each other, one for the extravagant life and one for the familial love.

She was also reborn after living in her twin’s shadow for all her first lifetime. Even if she married the man she loved and became the mother of the heir. The husband and his family actually prefer her perfect sister. So she decided not to ruin her and her sister’s life by telling the truth early. Well MC regarded her ex as a s*um already. After the ugly breakup, the weak twin tries to be as perfect as her sis. (Can’t blame her though but regardless of that she didn’t get the happy ending she wished for.)

Turns out not only the MC, Cheng Yujin reincarnated but also her sister. Also it seems that, MC thought she just dreamt of the future. MC's sister knows shes been reborn. Later, MC's ex fiancé also remembered the other life

Aside from that Dou Girl. But rather than s*upid, she was ignorant and envious. Making her do s*upid things.

At first, I didnt like the FL's twin sister because of her envy but I didnt hate her. It is normal to be envious if you lived in someone's shadow. However, selfishness and entitlement were added onto her envy and her whole character became disgusting to me.

She didn't improve herself and cried and whined to her coddling mother.

I also want to add that the tye FL's twin sister often thought of her past life. This becomes prominent once she's married.

When you read it and think about it even more, you can't help but face palm at her idiocy. This girl obviously want happy once she "finally" got married in her previous life yet she still stubbornly stuck to the guy.

As for the FL past husband. Scum. Thats it.
