To survive in this zombie-ridden, monster-infested apocalypse, the rich rely on technology while the poor rely on mutations.

Shen Shanwu, who appears to be 13 years old but is actually 31, is a deceptive mutant. Despite his childlike appearance, his intelligence is not particularly impressive. One day, while walking down the street, he is suddenly forcibly adopted by a young general who appeared out of nowhere.

He resisted, but when he looked up, it turned out to be an old acquaintance.

Although the novel is short, the story is interesting. Plot is solid with no fillers. Relationship is sweet.

Only the end could be longer. Need some extras.

I won't put a rating in this one, because I was freaking deceived. I thought that SS was bottom and JH was top and you're going to give me this😓😭😭😭, I like the story but I'm not into Top MC, and the story ended abruptly, MC didn't even get to revenge to his ex the same as ML's dad. I always thought that MC was bottom lol, I only found out when they had pay gorn on chap 58 and one more chap then it's done!!!!

It was nice with kind of new concept from the typical others. I liked it. But the ending was a bit abrupt for me but I also can't think of other ending than this.

Very cute and funny read.

Quite non-stereotypical MC and ML.

I quite enjoyed the playful and non-gender specific banter.

A simple not too dramatic storyline and the perfect length.

Spice 2/5

A lot of hinting, talking but nothing more than 2 kisses and a small other incident. Mentioning this here because I thought the tags Yaoi and Mature would give me a little more but alass.

I would’ve loved to give this a four-star, but I cannot. This story started well, but then it rushed to the end, like, why? There are too many loose ends and too many unanswered questions. I am not satisfied at all with the ending. It seems too rushed and left me feeling unfulfilled.

It's lacking because it's short. The author haven't able to discuss the whole plot and the story ended abruptly. It is not good. The story is lacking because it has a plot missing.

They did not even resolved the mutant and human conflicts and the zombie.

The ML and MC did not dicuss yet if they are together but they behave intimately. The MC insisted that they're not together yet.

The ending is abrupt. I think this is open ended plot but it is not good that the author left the readers hanging.... more>> The author haven't discussed and narrated all the important details yet. It's just a shame that this plot is super promising and would been better if only the author knows how to end the story. The author could have made special chapters but they didn't. Sigh.

All the plot and progress are gone to waste because of the abrupt and unnecessary ending. <<less

Ending was extremely abrupt. But I understand. There's no way to continue it without getting a lot more complicated. Though some fluffy extras would have been nice. The relationship was very abrupt too. So much build up.

It's actually a 4.5 but I rounded it up cause I'm nice (๑ ˘ω˘ ๑)

I enjoyed it a lot actually. The thing that irked me is the ending that felt too abrupt. I honestly think there are plenty of interesting points left unexplored, which is a shame.

Super great novel with great characters. There was never a part of the novel where I was bored. It had great pacing and fantastic, memorable side characters. Just the perf amount of angst and comedy.

If you came for the romance, then you'll be fine. I feel the novel had a great balance between plot and relationship development. Oh, and there's no smut. Just descriptions of h**ny thoughts.

The romance is cute, the misunderstanding is resolved relatively quickly, and the MC cosplaying a child is adorable. Lacks the typical doom and gloom of an apocalypse novel. Quite a good read.

Pretty good story.

A more unique perspective than your usual apocalypse faire.

In this world, "ability" users are extremely rare and have become "mutants" typically ostracised by human society. Their skills are also very unique, more similar to western Avengers style, than elemental magic typically found in apocalypse style stories.

The storyline was very fluffy and cute overall, with an unusual "pretending-to-be-kid" MC.

Not a lot of super s*upid villains, thankfully.

Sadly, the story did end a bit abruptly, I thought the author was gearing up for a masterpiece regarding ethics and humanity

I like this story!

The idea or premise is really interesting which made me very very excited to read this.

Unfortunately, because I had high expectations, it kinda fell short when I was reading it already.

... more>> I think the first-mid chaps were well thought of but the last half of the story was too quick in my opinion, there were a lot of details that were just passed briefly

Anyhoo, I think the author was aiming for a light hearted novel which he/she succeeded in!

I couldn’t get enough especially I was very curious about what really happened between ML and MC

Love it enough to suffer MTL. I do hope the fan translation continues since it’s far superior.

It’s cute. I love their relationship especially in later chapters.

It depends on the rest of the novel but so far it’s contending for #2 or #3 spot as far as zombie yaoi is concerned.
