This is one of the story were I was smiling while reading it. I binge read it. I really like the MC. She has the spunky nature doesn’t need help from others can stand up for herself and solve her problems. Love her more than the ML. It doesn’t have unnecessary drama. Was sad when the story was over. It such a fun read. Recommend it very highly.

Love the romance between the 2 leads and the interactions with their friends and family. The ending was kind of rush though. Also, I find MC's sister and nephew part was insufficient to allow the audience to build an emotional attachment to them. When the nephew died, I just didn't feel anything despite how sad the author made MC out to be. In any case, I find these 2 characters kind of redundant. They don't add much to the story.

Incredible MC really. I clicked this novel just casually, not even that interested in the synopsis.

Boy did I get a pleasant surprise.

Probably one of the best and well-written modern/celebrity main characters or plotlines I've read so far.

The MC is down-to-earth, relatable, and feels like a real person. She isn't a Holy Mother who is kind to everyone and forgives all hurts done to her, but also doesn't go out of her way to kick people to their deaths. She has her principles, knows what she wants, and commits fully with... more>> integrity.

Truly an admirable character and really fun to boot. I love that she's so proactive in the relationship. It's very realistic with her level of self-confidence and she knows how to stand firm and dish out as good as it gets, instead of waiting pitifully for someone to come to the rescue.

MC's not perfect and makes mistakes, but that's why it's enjoyable to read.

The side characters and other plots are done well for the most part. There isn't any super cruel, horrible, or melodramatic face-slapping, so the overall story feels more grounded and enjoyable.

Also the translation is very excellent, super smooth and the translator/editor did a really great job making the story immersive.

Some minor instances of pinyin that could have been better localized (like renjia could easily be translated as "someone" or "one did this" or "a certain someone" for a sassy take), but overall great job.

I just finished and I so love the story!!!!! Its cute and fluffy and made me feel so warmmmmm

Altho I think that the description is kinda misleading, I never saw a part where he said he was displeased with mc's reputation or maybe read passed it uahahhahahah nevertheless the story is great read it!!!!!!!

Oh and also! The translation was awesome luv it

good read, the FL is really my fav- she is so witty, funny and charming. Her methods of chasing the ML is also very cute, no much big drama or anything so I personally felt it was a lil plain but the fluff was cute.

The starting was interesting with lots of fluff and comedy but towards the end, I felt quite disappointed. Everything felt rushed. There were also a few loose threads which could have been easily dealt with but the author neglected it, presumably because they were bored since the end seemed so rushed.

It's so good! I love Su Yi's personality she's a queen. The sweetness are overflowing, I admire their relationship fr. Chu Ying is so husband material where I can find someone like him T^T get married soon pls.

So refreshing story, I love main lead's characters the most they're so cute together and how they handle things in their relationship and career seriously. The face-slapping is so satisfying. Would recommend.

Edit: Congrats to the newlyweds! May you both have peaceful, happy and wonderful life being husband and wife!

our FL is an actress content to be hated by her fans ‘cause it proves she acted well. She becomes interested and pursues the ML sincerely. Not stalker psycho pursuit. The ML is nice so you get her attraction. The main draw is the FL. The silly yet realistic things she does to entice her love without disrespecting herself are always fun. The world setting is a little shallow with the main characters being a bit like cardboard cut out OP CEO/actress stereotypes.

This was a really good story. I absolutely love the MC and ML. I love the fact that the MC chased him first and it was basically smooth sailing. I love that it was short and to the point and the author didn't drag things out like other stories. There were no unnecessary misunderstandings between them and it was so refreshing.

Cute, sweet, and satisfying with likeable and natural FL and ML. The romance is organic and enjoyable. I find myself grinning and smiling a lot! Recommended if you want a fluffy and satisfying romance with minimal annoyances ;)

Great, the MC is really likeable. The ML is likeable too. Relationship between them is great. The others aren't too interesting, and I don't think they will be in those little 28c.

Btw, it's a bit sad that it ends in only 28c since they still have much material to keep going.. Well it's ok. Good novel for now

Short & sweet. Not a lot of substance or drama. I really liked FL as she is very down to earth.

What stopped this book from being 5 stars was that it felt like nothing ever really reached full potential. In the beginning you get to see the male leads POV and that slowly stopped as did any real development with him once they started dating. FL’s career is similar. She is very successful but towards the middle starts expressing interest in being the lead rather than secondary lead or even... more>> changing her image. That interest ends rather quickly and she continues as she has been. It would have been nice to see her find a sort of antihero role that would allow for her to be lead and keep her preferences.

Most notable is the “tragic past” tag which I would argue with. There was a lot of potential to play with her past and her struggle to be an actress that was never reached. Instead it was just used as a plot tool for the characters to get closer which was arguably unnecessary at that point.

all in all, cute and short but do not expect depth. I think this author has potential but I wish her editor got her to dig deeper. <<less

The writing is excellent but the one tragedy devastated me. I was jolted from the fluff after reading it. It happens late in the story so I was already invested in the plot by the time it happened.

My first time reading this was years ago. I found it again only to have the creeping suspicion and sure enough skimming later chapter this is *that* story.

It’s a very good read. I just prefer not to be sad in my leisure.

Recommended to read!!!

This novel was quite fun to read. There was no drama and it was a very light read. It did not have much of the FL chasing after the ML as the description promised because the ML was quite supportive as well. They actually became a couple after a few chapters.

But this was sweet. I swear I sometimes stopped reading because I needed to digest and savor what I read. I liked the book. Give this a try.

A very dominating CEO? I've liked the premise and the few first chapters but I started to think the CEO uses his power too much The further I read the worse it got. I guess it's not my kind of book.

Enjoyable!! FL is such an oddball, a beautiful oddball. She's an actress that mostly acted as a villain. The ML is retired soldiers and now a successor of his family business. I really love FL's character in this story, very level headed, high EQ, and independent. She fell first and took a lot of initiatives. The ML also loves to strike while its hot, haha.

Unlike other novels where the chasing period is very interesting and then it goes downhill after main characters become a couple, thankfully its not the case... more>> for this novel. The plot is still as interesting and engaging, not to mention some steamy scenes (hihihihi).

The setting is cliche, but I totally recommend this novel if you are looking for a cute and steamy story with a light plot. <<less
