I didn't know what I was doing but I kept ignoring the last arc for a long time. Maybe deep within me, I didn't want this novel to end, that's why I used laziness as an excuse.

The last arc was beautiful. I love how their back-story was written. I love how the ending was written.

The ending is good, really good. I hope others will read it until the end because the ending was truly worth it. I just hope that there are more extras.

Very cute QT story. Doesn't reinvent the wheel but I did enjoy all of it.

Great for if you want a story that's interesting, got good fluff content, and not too angsty. Also... MC and ML don't have tons of relationship drama which I really appreciate in danmei tbh.

Ahhh it's so cute. Definitely the right amount if fluff I was looking for. Won't make you ball your eyes out, but at least your heart will feel full after being scratched at.

So underrated!

Honestly one of the best quick transmigration I have read so far.

The plot is interesting, the flow is good. This novel does not suffer from the same kind of things as other similar novel of its genre, which is repetition. The length of the arc and the numbers of chapters are enough to tell a good story and not so long that it gets draggy and boring. In fact it leaves you with a feeling of wanting more.

MC is a very interesting character. I love how proactive and intelligent... more>> he is. The kind of MC that keeps you interested in the story he's trying to tell. LOVE LOVE LOVE

ML unfortunately suffers from generic ML syndrome, but that's okay. There's nothing especially wrong with that. (I mean, who doesn't love a good escapism?)

Just like any other QT novels. If this was the first QT novel I've read, perhaps I would like it very much. But yeah, it was good but not something that would give me a new taste. The shou is amusing, yes, the gong.. Yeah the usual over-bearing kinda possesive gong xD.

The xianxia (?) thing though at the end, kind of leaves me with an "Ehh" feeling. Maybe I'm just not a fan of xianxia (?) /xuanhuan (?) whatever it was called hahaha. I find some novels with that genre, kinda all over the place..

Rating: 4.5 (purely based on my enjoyment)

At first I thought this going to be another HDS type novel but thank god it wasn't.

The story goes like MC in order to survive has to fulfilling the wish of the original host of the body he gonna take over and during those period he might get influence by the original host remaining emotion and might take some action based on it. The Overall story is very interesting and good. Though the first two arc was not good for me due to MC and ML relationship. It just rubs you in the wrong way. Kinda like HDS but atleast it was better than HDS.

However from the 3rd arc it end up progressing very good and then the ending with main plot revealed about MC and ML past is good. I f*cking love how it ended and how we actually got the story about their past and that too from both MC and ML POV (5 star for that).

Though it lack in world building Compare to other QT novels, I still enjoyed it very much, especially with face slapping. The arc I liked were 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th & 9th. ... more>>

3rd:- because this arc was the start of their sweet relationship.... with no forcing and just sweet love.

4th:- it's gaming theme. How can one not love it. Although I am kinda disappointed with the lack of world detail in game.

5th:- MC as Dog and his interaction with ML was so cute.

6th:- Apocalypse theme with MC turning into zombie.... though it was actually demon qi but MC action after zombie was just too cute.

8th:- interstellar with ghost and this one also revealed a bit of MC past.

9th:- This was the best arc for me, I guess since the past of MC and ML was Revealed and it has such a cute, sweet but tragic story

I also love the relationship between MC and ML. Though their relationship might rub you in wrong way, especially in some arcs with ML being Overly Possessive but thanks to MC and his action to handle/match up with ML making their relationship atleast a bit pleasant..... especially compare to HDS. Their relationship is very similar like QT FOD MC and ML.

Also the way author wrote the intimacy scene like kissing..... it was so Hot and well written. though we didn't got any PaPaPa scene, I am contain with it.

Though I love this novel, there are some parts I wish author has explained to us properly

Like MC heart..... Despite his heat being crush by that bit*h he was still alive.... why?? How?? I got the things regarding his Memory being inside his heart and the plain to retrieved it but what about the crushed heart?? How can he not die?? Didn't that bit*h crushed it for MC to die.

Also the Nirvana thing, I kinda got the jest of it but at the same time I didn't properly.

And It was mentioned that ML soul/spirit/persona was split up into 3000 world and MC has to complete the task for ML to retrieved his soul and get stronger...... then MC only completed 8 world, so how the heck ML was able to get out? Was 8 world enough for him?? Then what about the remaining world with his soul..... did he retrieved it? If 8 world were enough then isn't he too OP. also why in the 1st place he divided his soul into those 3000 world?? Was it to find MC? Ah, so much mystery.

Sadly, this was very short QT novel. I wouldn't have mind for more of it, especially about the 7th realm ML created for MC.

I remember once reading this book and dropping it after the 1st Arc. And I don't know why I did that. This book is really a masterpiece. There was not a single arc which bored me. And lastly, Can I please have my own Ye Cang???

Asking the revered author and translators to give me a Ye Cang *cries pitifully*

It is funny since I was one of the people who dropped this novel after reading the first arc. Ngl what I felt after reading the first arc and the half of the second arc was that it wasn’t that special and kinda boring. But after that I saw some reviews who said to not give up this novel (lol) and continue to read after the first two arcs. I decided to give this a shot and I am very happy to finish this novel. It certainly becomes x100 better... more>> later. I now can understand how some people can say that this novel is one of their fav QT novels. MC is really quick witted and cute and shameless which I love. ML is the typical strong handsome type but he doesn’t force the MC like the other CNs and respects the other which is a rarity. Their original story is quite beautiful and I loved how it wasn’t our typical love story. Arcs were simple but interesting and entertaining. I mean I personally didn’t feel bored reading them. Recommended <<less

Pretty good if you're looking for a QT novel. Can't deny that there were quite a lot of similarities with other QT novels (as with most novels to be honest) but it has it's own unique story as well.

Personal opinion; I absolutely didn't like the first two arcs due to ML seeming to not respect MC and MC never seemed to give an actual, obvious consent to ML. MC didn't even seem to like ML in the first arc but they somehow got together. Felt like a forced relationship. In... more>> the second arc, ML was even worse, which made me initially decide to drop the novel on the spot. Luckily though, I decided to continue reading the third arc after reading another reviewer's positive feedback in future scenes. ML indeed had better character development. As mentioned by the other reviewer, it felt as if the author suddenly improved his or her writing from third arc onwards.

If you are someone that prioritises consensual and respectful relationships, bear in mind, first two arcs won't have that. Only third arc onwards get that. ML also becomes quite doting afterwards (some scenes).

This ain't exactly the best novel I've come across, but it's not bad either. Good pass time read (third arc onwards). <<less

10/10, amazing story, would recommend.

I love the MC and ML so much. The character development as well is great as the MC actually begins to develop emotions over time. He learns to become sympathetic, to be able to love, feel sadness, etc. The ML is possessive but not in a creepy way and is actually kind of romantic and cute. I find that he’s extremely lovable but that might be because our MC loves him so much.

The plot is great. Usually in qt’s the plot about the MC real life... more>> story isn’t really touched upon. We usually only get the worldhopping, talking about the body he’s in life rather than actually his own so this appealed to me a lot as I think the final arc (about his real life) is my favourite. The arcs are alright, he does his task and then the author force feeds us dog food for the most part but it’s the good type of dog food, deluxe brand purchase type. I also really like the author’s writing style as well, I feel it’s quite smooth for me.

Recommended, really great and I enjoyed it. There is the age gap thing in some arcs with one being a minor so be warned. Other than that this story is pretty solid. <<less

I absolutely love this story. Don't let the summary fool you. Like all danmei, it's not what it seems.

I love how simple and straightforward the title can be initially perceived but only after reading the entire novel can you truly understand it's meaning.

That ending revelation truly made the novel astounding. I highly recommend this danmei!

All the translators did such an incredible job as well!

It's quite an interesting QT story with face slapping and dog blood drama here and there. Quite satisfying but not that superb, so I put average 3 star rating.

It still a nice read to spend your time with, but you may love it or hate it tho.

In the end, the MC is a puppet created by an immortal who fell in love with the demon war god (ML). Their love (the final arc) brought great upheaval throughout the realms. The MC wasn't human to begin with so he felt he was heartless, anyways he also lost his memories. But he eventually recovered them from the jealous women who's in love with his master.

There's alot of arc but it was very fun to read! I enjoyed it very much - the love is smooth sailing because their soul instinctively love each other. So you don't have to worry about them not loving each other in any of the instances, just focus on the plot and how the MC eventually fulfills all of the soul's wishes. <<less

Skipped the 1st arc bc I didn't like it.

The other arcs were alright and I liked how the MC wasn't too OP bc his plans went wrong sometimes but the fact that it went wrong only to benefit him even more was really a Gary sue/ protagonist halo ngl.

ML was okay... Nothing special, always OP as always. Don't have much to say about him since I've already read so many ones similar to him. Overbearing and powerful.

What I like the most is our MC unfeeling or empty soul become more and more energetic and having soul every arc. Step by step

I love this novel from the end to the last. I just love the heartless MC but when it comes to his man he would do anything like (some arc) Scheme on his man to punish him for having concubine in his court yard (and lastly knowing that those collected concubine was ML... more>> looking for him) , act cute to dominate the cold domineering ml, and even shamelessly flaunt their love the interstellar. 😂 As for me I would cringe if the novel was full of dog food but this novel I f*cking love this because the MC have different tactic to get close to the ml.

Bless the couple for hundred thousand even billion of years love together. ❤️🥺 <<less

Love it. Sweet and exciting love story. The CP is just adorable, their story is tragic but beautiful. The plot is great and the author doesn't leave all answers until the end but instead reveal it bit by bit over time. Even though it's a great feeling when the plot is totally out of your expectations, I love how in this book the author spread bread crumbs everywhere to lead the readers subtly but surely to the truth. And seriously the plot is just great. For someone to think of... more>> this, the author really has my respect and admiration.

I also love and adore the MC's personality. I also want to dote on him, seriously. The dynamic between the MC and ML is great as well and even though I usually don't like the domineering type, this ML is also willing to do anything for the MC and the MC also counters the ML's personality perfectly.

Here is another huge perk of this novel: IT IS A QUICK TRANSMIGRATION STORY WITHOUT A SYSTEM!! I love this fact since I don't like how most systems act towards their host, how they control their actions, give penalties and how they are constantly present and often annoying. On the other hand, this is a story where the MC gets the plot of a world send into their head and based on that needs to fulfill the regrets of the original soul. After that, how he accomplishes this and how he acts otherwise is completely up to him and that's it. Just great if you ask me.

This was my first world hopping novel, so it was like a collection of short stories but with the same characters. At times I wished the MC wasn't so smart and lucky, so there would be more suspense, but having things go the MC's way was fun too. My only real issue with this story is that it ended too abruptly. Overall a good translation and a fun read with good fluff.

At first, I was skeptical at reading this. I wasn’t really a fan of world hopping tropes. Though, this novel had exceeded my expectations. Each arc is unique and I enjoyed all of them. Usually I get bored when reading so a lot of times I drop novels but this captured all of my attention. So yeah, I definitely give this a recommendation, I’m so excited to see how this story ends.

This book is a great enjoyment to me, A person who is a pure sucker for fluff and the possessive ML tropes. The MC is a great character who is cunning and hell bent on chasing ML and the ML is not anything special but he is the kind of guy fujoshis love.. If you get what I mean.

This book in a nutshell is a combination of Quickly wear the Face of the Devil (QWFOD) and Beloved husband.

I find the MC and many of arcs from this similar to QWFOD.... more>> Such as:

MC's love for wine

crown prince ML who is 'poisoned' and loves drinking wine

I read this a while ago and forgot to leave a review. This was actually one of the first QT BL novels that I read so I thought it was pretty decent when I first read it.

Nonetheless, after having been exposed to better novels in this genre, I can say that this series is utterly average. Lots of recycled tropes, and MC as well as ML's personalities aren't anything particularly special or memorable.

If you're looking for more of the same old, same old, then this might satiate your needs. Otherwise,... more>> don't bother. <<less
