HAHAHA! Honestly, I hate stories where all MC can do is hold ML's thighs, but that's not really the case in this story. That said, I can't really say he's a schemer either, because except for the first arc, it pretty much feels like the other arcs handle themselves without too much talent necessary from MC lol.

Anyway, it's very bingeable. Plus I like that although this ML is possessive and yandere, he actually loves MC. He wouldn't do anything if MC didn't want it, including being pushed to bed. There's... more>> still an element of mystery in the story, so I'm excited to see it unravel.

Also, I really like that each arc has MC winning over the ML again. In some stories, after a few arcs it's utterly unnecessary. In this one, although it becomes much easier (I wish it didn't, but oh well), ML really doesn't have memories of MC. <<less

Okay, so I just finished mtling it since there are only 2 arcs left and I can't wait to read it.

It was a fun read, really, it's just that for me, it's not worth rereading.

Yes, the ML is very possessive which is very much my cup of tea. But the world is not that unique.

... more>> I've read a lot of transmigration BL novels so I'm really looking for something unique. Sadly, it's not this novel.

Anyway, if you want a novel with a very possessive ML, an intelligent MC and a simple word with not many schemes. It's right for you.

Very average QT. It's a 'safe' novel for people who enjoy reading successful face slapping and possessive ML. Some of the MC's logic made me a little annoyed but he's not a whiny bit*h who relies on the ML so he's good in my books. Worlds usually have some sort of underlining cultivation elements, I feel like 65% of the worlds are based around it, which can get a bit boring if you just want your average slice of life world. Overall, a safe read and good translations.

One of the better QT novels out there.

Theres nothing groundbreaking with the plot, but it's written well and does not have those irritating character flaws/clichés/plotholes, which are in the badly written QT novels.

Definitely worth a 4 or 5 star

The moment I read "Gu Bai: (deadpan) That... holding and holding... got used to it... " I knew I had to give this book a go. So glad I did. The individual stories are interesting and well developed. I am enjoying this story very much and can't wait for an update.

There is enough world building and character interest that even with each arc being 10-12ish chapters, the story feels fully developed. I do wish there was a bit more description for the snu snu, but it's still got enough to... more>> warm my heart. <<less

It's pleasant and enjoyable QT face-slapping novel. I found the final arc really cool and special! I've never seen a QT origin story like that before. I do want to mention, though, that the ML is pretty pushy and possessive, and he's literally a pe*ophile/child groomer in the second arc?? And MC kind of victim blames the poor kid he's g*ooming. But if you can overlook that, overall they're happy with each other, and if you just want a light read with a nice little twist at the end to... more>> help you pass the time, this is a decent choice. <<less

Even though the novel is good there is not anything particularly unique about it. You can find many novels like this one. The writer did try to make it different by adding a bit of mystery about the guy in the mask who is transmigrating Bia into different worlds but it is not enough. Like many other novels this novel also compares the beauty of all the hosts with a female i.e his skin is more creamy tham a female, his body proportions are more alluring than a female etc,... more>> thus the conclusion is that the only reason the straight ML was bent because the hosts were more feminine than a female. <<less

This is great! Personally my favorite arc ever in all of qt is this story’s second arc with the demonic sect leader gong cultivation world. I reread that one constantly and that arc in itself is 5 stars.

I think once MC accepted his feelings and learnt how to sense a connection with his gong it became a little too easy and fell into the same op gong lover tropes which was a little disappointing. But it’s still a good read, definitely recommend for the early arcs at the very least... more>> lol <<less

This novel is like the story line of king's game and Need to Propose to Seven Men What to Do!

The author simplified every arc. Every arc is very short which is kinda disappointing because some arc is really good.

Like the zombie arc. It was arc was supper meng and it is also one of the turning point of the story. This arc is where the crisis for both MC and ML rise. That's why it was full of potential. However the author just oversimplified the story and just focus on the main point.

The last world also. It was very straight forward and was focused on the hints he left so that he will win in the end.

Well, over all it was good and it was HE.

Also o realize that he didn't just travel between world but also time. Hahaha

Worth recommending!!! <<less

Not bad, but there's some problematic stuff that's common in some BL novels. If you're desensitized to those issues, the story won't be bad. It's not the deepest story though. Read it for some quick enjoyment/feels.

One of the few MTL that didn't burn brain cells. On the whole, it's a great read, especially if you were craving some FOD-ish novel. My only complaint is there's not too many worlds before we get to the main storyline. I needed more vinegar tank action from the ML.

It's a happy ending (for some) story. No NSFW scenes (cries). One of the stories that I could reread.

I fully mtled it, and loved it. There's an amazing back story, and in each world the love is so beautiful. Funny interactions and side characters, 100% encourage to read it.

Super satisfying ending.

I completely fell in love with this novel! Among all the multiple world stories I've read, I have to say this is my favorite. I really liked how the final arc tied together the whole story. It has all the makings of a great love story! There's the smart, cute, shameless MC, sexy, possessive ML, mysterious, tragic past, HE ending and loads of fluff in between. This is one novel that I'd definitely read again, and I hate rereading!

The dynamic between the couples reminds me QWoD but the other was too serious and this one is too simple not much drama or complication.

Each arc had short stories. Too simple.

The ending was like... bland? 😅 I expect much action and dog blood drama, but nah... it was too simple I guess?

But all in all. It's good. BUT if I repeat on reading... I guess no. <<less

Just like in the blurb, Gu Bai passed away and entered a system where he have to enter different worlds/arc and reach his goal according to the previous host's wish in order to have a chance for reincarnation.

Gu Bai relied mostly on the plot of the world, his own capability and of course the Master of the system to reach the goal. The Master told Gu Bai not to get attach to anything in the world or it will be hard to gather his soul. Gu Bai agreed, thinking he had no heart. That was until he met the ML.

Plot wise, the first few arcs were interesting. But, it dwindle down once it reach the "The Imperial Palace's Pampered Concubine is Inferior to a Dog" arc. And so, I skimmed the rest of the arcs and continue with MTL. Yes, it's not fully translated yet. The translators did a good job, the reason for the rating. I was incline to rate it lower.

It's a unmemorable story and even though the twist was different.

The fact that the ML is the same person in the end, I don’t like, but I can handle because this is what typically happens in qt novels. However, the romance is truly not there. It is lackluster because the moment MC finds out the ML is the same soul, he gets all lovey dovey. Until then, he is not. This was apparent in the video game world, world four I think, where the ML is assaulting the MC, has him handcuffed and naked and gets in the shower with him to do who knows what. Because the MC doesn’t know it is the ML, he is fervently against it, telling him to stop but the ML doesn’t. All of a sudden in the middle the MC realizes it’s the same soul ML and is now okay with the assault? I saw this coming, but even without the SA aspects of that story, it still is boring and creepy. There is no chasing really, no falling in love on either side. It’s just the ML immediately falling in lust, and the MC being a victim of it until he isn’t. So many better ways to go around it.

Even in the third world the MC’s meeting with the ML is weird. They just meet and boom, they’re together. The best part of qt romances, the falling in love aspect, is completely removed.

A lot of my complaints are personal gripes. When o first read this, it being one of my earlier qt reads, I liked it more. Now, having read basically every qt on the main market, it falls behind. Still I will say the world building tends to be good. The backstories are pretty interesting in some worlds, like the third one. I was debating between giving this 3 or 4 stars, but I pressed 3 and went with it. <<less

This isn't the worst qt I've read so I guess that's a star.

The MC is likeable for the most part. Can't say the same for the ML.

Cons:

The MC is pretty likeable to start with. He's set up to be a cold unfeeling character who breezes through his tasks at the snap of a finger. I enjoyed the arcs where he was independent, not always looking forward to being with a certain guy. I genuinely thought he'd stay the unfeeling character for longer than two arcs...

This changed when the *big realization* about the ML (the one that happens in every qt story...) occurred and the MC got chummy. I hated that he didn't really keep more his original personality. <<less

A fun QT novel.

I will admit that the first bit was probably a 3.5, but it turned into a 4 by the end!

The translation is okay, not the best, but also not bad. I appreciate the translator taking the time to start this project. The translation does improve when you reach the chapters translated by chrysanthemum Gardens.

Some of the arcs can be a little repetitive, but they're written in such a way that they don't feel repetitive. There are also some interesting arcs

Realistically, 4.4~ish stars. In my heart? 5. Cute story and likeable MC (I like the cunning ones). Both of them are a bit sue-ish (mary/gary su). If you like stories like this with a heavy theme of ‘only us in this universe’ kind of thing, I highly recommend [Game Loading]! Overall, decent story and not any major complaints lol.

Where do I even begin...

many content warnings, this is a very possessive romance through and through, there are many near r*pes and lots of SA cases. Gore, violence, death, dog blood, dog food... ah

I love the MC, he has a really interesting progression throughout the novel that we are right there with him for, we pretty much only see stuff from his prospective so it stays mysterious and engaging throughout. Some arcs could be skipped without much loss to the storytelling, so if some are too much for you... more>> just try the next or jump back in later.

Came for the romance, stayed for the angst, cried for the finish. <<less
