I really like this. So fluffy and sweet. Just don't like the zerg "gender" inequality which won't be addressed here because this story is fluff.

I wanted to write a review for this story because I consider it a special one. I love the big drama, exciting tension, horror, humor and fluff stories, but it is novels like this that stay with me. The development of the relationship between the two characters feels natural and honest. There are awkward moments and little misunderstandings, but they are resolved by speaking openly to each other. The ML gives the MC the respect and love he deserves. It was refreshing and cute, I enjoyed it and as the author said, there's no much drama, which I liked, and the little drama there is, is funny and you don't don't suffer while reading it

I loved the story, the pampering, the way ML acted as well as the respect he earned. MC, well I understand his negative train of thought later on because of their environment and norm but I'm even more glad that ML was able to change that.

My only regret is that I love face-slapping events and I wasn't that satisfied that it didn't happen much.

The translation was excellent but this story wasn’t for me. A real sweet slice of life/dog food show with a little bit of good old smex, good when you are in the mood for candy, however, it failed to really hook me.

I really loved this novel. It's sweet, it's fluffy, and it's extremely cute! I loved the interactions between the characters and I quite enjoyed the short extras that the story had (except for the ones about Kaczki's family, but that's only my personal opinion. It's well written, don't get me wrong, but it's more like I didn't care about the characters themselves enough in the first place to care about their background).

First and foremost, it has to be mentioned that the futuristic Zerg hierarchy and gender setting is confusing. This fact made the MC very relatable in the situations where he doesn't understand the normal 'common sense' of the Zergs since the reader is very confused as well.

Otherwise the plot is pure heartwarming fluff. We have an MC who is very caring, mature and tolerant. An ML who is strong physically but with self-worth issues (they work through it) and the child that is initially introverted.

I like how it was shown... more>> rather than told how communication between couples is important in a relationship. The ML is very timid at first so the MC is the one to initiate this by saying what he wants and what he expects from the ML. In time they also clearly talk about each other's past. The main couple has only known each other for a couple of months but due to the effort in communication it really felt like they were an 'old married couple' who are very much in love.

The childcare is also sweet. I like how both parents constantly make an effort to be better parents to Xiao Ye.

I think, I will be somewhat bias if I read another novel who their enemy is zerg race. Like, I can't, this story give me something, like I thought Zerg is an insect that harmful, but after read this. NOOOO!!!! As previous reviewers have said this is a nice blend of fluffy and steamy with a hint of social commentary. It's a shorter novel and the chapters aren't too long so the pace moves quickly. The main characters are endearing and it's a pretty addicting read :). The main couple is super sweet together with great chemistry! Their home life is soooo adorable and it's great reading all the little gestures and touches they make for each other (≧∇≦) /. The unique setting of another planet/universe as well as transmigrating... more>> into a world that's populated by beings called Zergs adds a slight layer of sci-fi to this story.

MC Huan Xiu is a great character and it's really relaxing reading from his POV as he navigates his new life. He's kind, polite, patient, thoughtful, and a little cheeky hehe. His open-mindedness and care for the feelings of others make him great hubby material and overall a lovely Zerg (´ ▽ `) b. His growing love and care for Xi Ran and Xiao Ye is also wonderful to read as they begin to form a real family together uwu. Watching him slowly get Xi Ran to open up to him despite his inferiority complex and introverted nature is hot and sweet at the same time. It's also touching to see him bond and become a father to Xiao Ye (who's the sweetest baby and deserves all the good in the world!!).

ML Xi Ran is also an incredibly likable character who doesn't come across as a doormat despite often being nervous and self-doubting. He's actually very strong and stubborn when he wants to be. His journey of moving past his horrible past and learning to love himself and Huan Xiu is lovely to read ^~^! Every small step he takes towards being more confident and assertive is a small win for him and readers! Even though I still wish he thought himself equal to Huan Xiu by the end, I can't help but feel proud on how much progress Xi Ran has made throughout the novel and how much happier he is :'). And his trait of not being good with words is so relatable XD.

Despite it being mostly fluff and smexy, I think there's also a small part of the story that examines our society through the lens of a different world and system. The inequality between the different Zergs is sad/maddening to read about, and also makes the readers think back on how gender/class differences in our world can cause suffering for no good reason. The author touches on topics like how divorce or single parents are frowned upon through Xi Ran and Xiao Ye, as well as issues like having stepchildren and toxic masculinity. It's important to note that Huan Xiu is often regarded in the novel as almost god-like because he treats his found family well and respects all Zergs, which honestly is what all people (and Zergs hur) should be able to do. Lastly, I do love how the author wrote the world setting so the female Zergs were the ones who were taller, stronger, and embodied the traits of typical masculinity while male Zergs were the regular nerdy types XD. This is a great shorter novel that's a fun breezy read! Highly recommend ;D

I found this to be a heartwarming story. If you want dog blood drama, this is not for you. It’s just fluff and smut.

I loved this story so much. It was sweet, steamy, and had just the right amount of drama for me (like no drama). I need more stories like this one.

I really enjoyed this, it was really pleasant to read and the dynamic and character growth of the ML was really warm. The relationship was also different to usual BL CPs which was a breath of fresh air.

Kaczki’s extras were a little too out there for my liking with his harem vibes but the main story and their extras were lovely.

So very sweet, cute and fluffy. Not much angst which I like. Highly recommend for a light hearted read.
