This is a very good novel, the story is very heartwarming to read and the relationship between the ML and MC is very healthy. The bond between the MC and the son of the ML is very good too, its just that I want more xtras about their children!

This is a very light reading, with little plot, focused only on the relationship. The story follows the MC helping the ML overcome his psychological shadow caused by the messed up society. I would recomend this to someone who seeks to have a little break from complicated plots with a thoughtless read. Unless you are easily disturbed by gender inequality (here, it is not the believe of the MC - the opposite in fact, but the entire society is built on strong unequality), in which case this would just make... more>> you uncomfortable.

The MC is the top, which is quite unique for this genre.

One thing I would like to point out: if the author didn't call them Zergs, I would never have thought it was meant to be this species. In my mind, Zerg are insect-like creatures with a strong sense of hierarchy, highly social and military oriented, with very high reproduction abilities and their technology is biological in essence. The Zerg in this novel have very low fertility and are individualistic rather than social (just like modern humans), there is nothing about any hierarchy (again, they are same as humans). And while the novel does speak about military, they use mecha. And it doesn't even seem like the military is the main focus of the entire species. There are only a few things that remind of insects - the 'females' (which are the most common, strongest, the only ones in military and at the same time heavily opressed and mistreated???) can take out some kind of wings and they lay one egg (after a very long??? Pregnancy). The children grow in stages, going from one stage to another overnight. That's literally it for the similarities.

This novel satisfied the purpose of distracting me after I was mentally drained after the exam season, too tired to read anything of substance. I will not read it again, I don't think it has any re-read value. <<less

I don't remember when was the last time I read something so good. The MC (top) isn't overbearing. The ML (bottom) has confidence issues because of how their society sees the female zergs like him. The story manly focus on how MC heals ML non-physical wounds and how they develop a healthy relationship. I loved this so much. It's been a while since I got to read a novel where both protagonists have a personality and character development.

If y'all are looking for a sweet, fluffy and adorable story, then this is it for you. The story centers on the couple, their romance and growth. The MC is a caring and loving husband, he dotes on the ML lots. It's heartwarming, peaceful, and there's no drama.

The main negative to me is that the zerg aspects were very minimal or even completely discarded turning this into more of an alternate-ABO universe than anything else. The rest of the story (including the poly side story) are great! It focuses on exploring the culture caused by the racial and gender settings via the relationship of the transmigrated MC and local ML. I have nothing against humanoid zerg. Stories like 'I'm not Human' and a few others actually make me like seeing creative twists to the zerg narrative and reading from the zerg perspective quite a bit. However, it's really hard to relate this race of aliens to the zerg. The ONLY insect indicator are that the female zerg have retractable bone wings for battle. Tattoos do not equal carapaces.

Aspects in both race and daily life are just too close to Earth, down to the potential dating spots. The heavy military presence and references to the ongoing battlefield should be included, but... we never find out who or why these zerg are fighting. They don't seem to be inherently aggressive as individuals. Their insect characteristics are so hidden that they fight in mechas and communicate via technology, so it's not likely that they are motivated by the same ideology of other books: either planning to turn sentient populations into farms or induct them into the control of the hive mind. The zerg have even found the weak modern-day Earth, but seem to be completely ignoring it considering it's doing 'fine'.

War is really heavy on resources. The reason typical zerg in other media can survive and excel at it despite this boil down to their racial characteristics starting with their most powerful: reproduction. Their queens can lay entire broods that mature quickly at low cost. They have nearly zero concern about war attrition as a result. Zerg also do not have to worry about infighting or keeping morale high due to either being a complete hivemind or a very strict hierarchy. They evolve quickly to adapt to enemy tactics. They are born with natural weapons and armor. They can eat their enemies and keep fighting even if their supply routes are cut. Etc Etc Etc.

The zerg in this story in contrast do not seem to have the same overwhelming force of numbers characteristic to the race. Their fertility and birth rates are very low, although they still mature quite fast. The losses on the battlefront do not seem to be small. Any scene where a weak character goes off alone involves a bullying incident. There is a lot of fighting between zerg and very little unity. The governing structure is very Earthen. It's really shocking they are able to maintain a long term large scale conflict in this kind of situation.

Note: I fell asleep around this point in my review so I'm not sure if I said everything I wanted to or not. I recommend reading it to find out yourself!! It's short for a CN anyway (57ch) <<less

The story was so cute, so sweet, fluffy and a bit smexy and definitely no drama, I really like this kind of novel

You could think this has a plot but it's mostly a daily life with fluff and s*x. Not that makes this one less enjoyable lol.

I highly recommend to read this after a super dramatic novel.

Note to future readers though, this doesn't have any plot at all, despite the first few chapters, it soon goes into a slice of life, everyday peacefulness vibe, which is not bad if you like it.

I really liked it.. The story is very warming and I like the attitude and vision of protagonist..

This novel is so smooth, simple and straightforward. It portrays the day-to-day life of MC who trasmigrated, and ML who has had a s*um husband but with an adorable child. Seeing how they learned about each other through patience, understanding, and communication, is satisfying. No face slapping, dog blood and complicated drama. Definitely an escape to experience a slife of life, sci-fi, and lighthearted with a tinge of nsfw read.

This was an adorable and healing read!

I rarely try to read novels seme/gong protagonists and this is the first one I've completely finished reading!

The character development and growth of the ML, MC and their Bun's relationship was delightful to read.

Happy ending for the coupleee. A new life for ML after experiencing apocalyptic world. And remember this novel is about Zerg's they have duff heirarchys/society thinkings. It's good our ML gives the right respect to our MC. Mc's have too low self esteem/cinfidence due to his past experience and continually/gradually ML encourage MC to be confident or learn to love himself.

I was encouraged by the reviews to read this. For some reason the world in which the story takes place in was confusing to me. Not that the author didn't explain it, I just had a hard time picturing it.

The characters are nice, but once again there was a bit of a gap moe that through me off. Honestly I didn't love it, I had to push myself to finish. Not horrible tho.

I really enjoyed this story. It was a nice read, albeit a little weird when tall broad men were referred to as female. It's a light one, no angst.

4.8 because what actually caught my eye was the term "Zerg". I initially thought this was a Starcraft fanfic, so being a fan of that franchise went ahead and read it and it turned out to be completely unrelated lol. Well maybe except for that bony wing factor, which I imagine looked like Kerrigan's wings.

Anyway! I actually enjoyed it. It's fluffy and smutty with barely any drama, and ML was lucky to have met MC and vice versa. MC is also a great guy, just chill and overall an awesome... more>> person zerg. I like how he handled his family, especially his cousins.

This is what you would call a feel good novel. Since you can’t find a husband like MC in real world might as well admire him in the novel and his tiny family. Excellent translation work. Lots of fluff and enough steamy *wink*wink* content to keep you hooked. All in all a good weekend read

Adorable story. I really loved the extras focusing on a different family (polygamy). Contains explicit smut that's not badly written either. Highly recommend for a short-ish fluffy read!
