Such a shame. It had so much potential to stand out among the typical CEO love stories yet it did not. I still can't justify in my head how the ML fell for her after hitting her by his car. It also bugs me how the ML ALWAYS comes at the right time to save her from whatever predicament/mess she's into. It's the first time where I didn't feel much for the main couple but find the side couples more interesting.

Ngl, I didn't finish this and actually rage quit few... more>> chaps before the ending, around 111~ ish chap. The FL had it wayyyyy too easy and I can no longer stand it.

I just wished they focused more on her being a taobao matchmaker though. Could've made this story way more fun and interesting. <<less

Plenty of fluff, perfect for when you just want to turn off your brain and enjoy some light reading.

I like the MC and ML are somewhat typical but not really. They both are logical people so there is little to no misunderstanding, which saves you from some frustration that normally appears when reading this kind of trope.

The story is over few years span so it's somewhat slow romance (?), but it makes the story flows more naturally. Though in the chapters it's shortened as 'few weeks or months passed', so... more>> there's a lot of mini time skips.

First half of the story is mostly about the system and marriage reading, while the second half is mostly about MC entertainment career and relationship.

Translation is also high quality though I used MTL for the untranslated ones.

Overall, a nice simple read.

I feel a good recommendation would be The Heartbeat at the Tip of the Tongue. Both MCs were supported by ML to start at first but they were hardworking people, so they improved their skills over the time. Both MLs were also clear about their feeling so we get to enjoy some relationship time. Both couples met through chance encounter, then met again later on.

when his cousin teach him how to get a girl by action and the ending the ML is jelous cuz his cousin got the picture and wechat of the FL. Also when there was a kissing scene that the FL need to do ahahaha. And more. Read it, cute scenes heheh

There's no drama and just focus in their relationship and the dream of the FL.

The FL has a good character, independent when she can do it, help others when she knows that they are good people (it gives her backer in the industry, its good for her being a good person to those who are good to her)

I also like the side characters like the cousin of the ML and the 1st fan of the FL they're good match. Its just sad cuz there is no side stories for them.

I like the Mother of ML she is also cute ahahaha so anxious about her sons lovelife cuz of her sons personality.

I REALLY DO LIKE THIS STORY. IT GAVE A heartwarming..

What a lovely novel. At first I was hooked by the system in this book. It is not a usual system that I am used to red about. Most of the time the main characters will have to follow the tasks of the systems that are very straight forward in these type of books. However, in this novel Shen Chuchu has to figure out the meaning behind her new acquired skill herself and grow together with it. The main task is simple - to match people with the end goal... more>> of marriage. But human life is never just black and white now is it? When you have such a tool in your hands at some point you have to ask yourself are you doing the right thing? Will you sticking your nose in other people private lives be helpful or create unnecessary conflicts?

Don't get me wrong this novel is very easy on your heart with a very straightforward and fluffy romance that I enjoyed so much! But the complicity of the system is what gave this novel good substance. The male lead was just wonderful too. Always there for Shen Chuchu when she needs him. Both of them understood one another with no crazy drama. It is good to see a relationship that can grow and mature without other people throwing stones at them.

her ID itself is like schoolgirl and she insisted that she is ML's lover not knowing that the one she talked to is her son's girlfriend lol. And after knowing about her son's relationship she's thinking to watch dramas about mother-in-law... This kind of brain circuit... She's so cute lol

Well aside from the point above, this book is good indeed. The ML... Probably it's genetic thing... He is also kinda cute lol. He barely have the basic understanding of pursuing someone, but his moves actually pretty sweet, if only MC aware about those

MC is clever and careful, she never makes any move before she's sure about the fact. Above all, she's also a hardworker even though she has a golden finger. She really loves and enjoy her job. MC also has her own justice, sometimes it seems meddlesome, but given the situation I think her act is just right.

I give this 4 star minus 1 because I just think that the main couple's personality lack something. I can't describe what it is though, but if you also read "He's Mine, No Objection Allowed", you'd probably understand what I mean. <<less

Nice read ! I loved how the MC was nervous at time. She felt more real.

One of the best novel of the genre. Nice, uncomplicated and sweet with a lot of smiling moments.

But at the end, the system wasnt mentionned (it requiered her efforts every day but she shouldnt have the time after a while).

Still I prefered it that way.

Not bad, but not that good either.

The 'fortune-telling' aspect was interesting and the story also started really well. It had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, it went and stood together with other mediocre novels with 'showbiz' as theme and a celebrity FL (this is not to say that novels of the same genre/theme are not good, on the contrary, I have a few that I really like). The writing was also a bit lackluster. Still, some parts were enjoyable.

Romance was there, but not really. To me, it seemed like the... more>> leads were just forced together for the sake of the storyline. As for the characters, not the best FL and certainly not the best ML (a morally good character, with no personality). I love both sets of parents though. <<less

Giving it a-4 ⭐!

What hooked me into the story is ofc, the intriguing first chapters. I thought what if the FL wasn't an actress and being a matchmaker is her main job? I think it'd be more interesting 🤔

Although sometimes FL's problem solving and decision making skills make me question her here and there, even because of her impulsiveness that dragged her to be in rumors and negative exposures.

even how the ML being an old virg*n despite having his first intimate time with the FL way long before their marriage... more>> was kinda unimaginable and unrealistic, hey, I come here for the "fiction-fantastical-romance" this novel has!

But still I'm a bit disappointed with how the author quickly forgot to add scenes where the FL still doing her matchmaking business even though she's alr a big star! Like what do u mean the FL already forget her "roots" after making a name from the system! I hope there's another novel with shared universe where the FL also get this special ability...

Like I still wanna see other characters marriage system and destiny and how certain fates needed her intrude (not needed obviously) lol...

The ending also, I wanna see how their baby is doing. But ending it with the ML presenting awards to the FL is actually okay for me~ <<less

I surprisingly enjoyed it. Those who found it boring were probably used to angsty novels and stories. This is a bit similar to Really, really miss you, in the sense that it was positive, relaxing, and an enjoyable read overall.

Started off interesting but got boring overtime

Author dissing entertaining circle too much most characters view on the circle is messed up and dirty over and over this point kept being brought up it gets tiring

Time lapse was poorly written we follow FL day to day occurrence but at some point realized it was already 2-3 years passed

Adorable story!

A very likable heroine, and hero, they are both very human which I like very much.

No unnecessary misunderstandings or third-party interruptions in their relationship. They have a beautiful relationship.

The system and Mc's ability are done nicely, in my opinion. It is kind of episodic but not overly so, and it adds color to the story.

Overall satisfactory read!

It wasn't the best short novel I've read but it wasn't the worst either.

I wish they stuck to the concept of the novel a.k.a MC telling people's love fortune on Taobao way more than they did. It would've made the novel so much better. Also the MC's and ML's relationship was well.... meh. That being said, I did appreciate that the MC was not OP from the start. She made mistakes and grew from it.

This is an easy read. A hooking premise that seems to die down later on in the story but was stead replaced by a seemingly system like golden finger instead of matchaking. Though I really like it. Less dramas on the MC and ML's side, they were very stable and direct which is very slice of life for me. Not much drama involving our main characters but more on the side character where MC try to solve thwm. Really cute tho.

Initially I went in to this story with hope. I hoped that it'd be an interesting story. And it did have an interesting premise. But the execution is poor and the characters were dull. The story fizzes away after an interesting beginning and there are lots of loose ends.

FL is a stubborn person who sticks to her bottom line. She is however, not so smart in dealing with the entertainment business. Oftentimes, her problems are solved by the top CEO ML. Which is why I find her character dull.

ML is... more>> obviously a cold-faced, expressionless man who only lightens up and smiles in front of FL. He solves all her problems for her. From the first time they met, to her various problems later on.

FL has a very smooth-sailing career due to opportunities provided by the ML as well. She is good at acting but without the opportunities given by ML, it would've taken her far longer to be famous.

FL's system whereby she has to manage marriages is also flawed. It is said that she gains an acting point everytime she helps a couple get married, and loses one when she breaks a couple up. Initially she does lose points and she gets worried, but later on the story forgets about the points and she just does what she wants with the whole marriage system. In fact, she's supposed to help couples, one a day. And through Taobao (a shopping app) but this storyline disappears very quickly. In fact, we don't see what happens later on too.

The Summary is also misleading as it didn't happen like that in the story.

I also dislike how FL's "revenge" or faceslapping is so dull. She mostly relies on the help of a random reporter that she knows to push out all the dirty info she gets. And then antagonists disappear. Like, err, okay, boring. There's her former agent that sold her out too, and she doesn't even deal with him. Basically, meh.

In conclusion, a really dull story despite an interesting premise sigh. Read it if you like slightly spicy scenes between FL and ML, and a tsundere CEO ML who chases the FL. He is so EQ dumb that he doesn't even tell her he's pursuing her and then assumes she'd say yes. Honestly not the best ML out there for me. Too overbearing. <<less

Was a good read, MC did her duty on her online shop at the same time gives effort to hone her acting skills. Felt her feelings during college then not continuing the course she grduated from😅

There are many options in life as long as one gives effort and hardworking^^ MC will face different kind of reltionships especially she focuses on marriage due to her system. You make ur own destiny by ur own choices though there really is some incidents due to fate =meeting different kind of people

ML is new... more>> when facing a relationship but we can see his care and pursues on MC. ^^ Supports and a very good boyfie/husband material🥰. Though there are fam who are waiting for grandchildren /pushy but not that auper irritating hahaha ML respects MC choices, he might be a vinegar sometimes but still thinks about MC. He's such a softie for our FL ehe. There are other pairings of course, some had their due face slapping some had their happy ending. <<less

The translator did a good job translating this novel.

However, I feel this novel has its shortcomings.

  1. The plot is very slow-moving for my standard, ML and FL barely meet and interactions are short with little depth
  2. Too much entertainment gossip/news etc - wasn't very engaging
  3. ML is a little too typical for my liking and lacks depth.
  4. Overall set-up for this rather bland.
