1) If you are gonna make the mls fall in love with him, and if you are gonna make this seem like a harem, at least do till the end. Hwa obviously like the MC but he ended up getting married? Why? The author made it seem so novel as he wants to change the Moyong family but for me, he's a frikking coward. His reasoning such as the MC wont be able to handle it, even if they escape the Moyong family wont let them go or that the MC will be unhappy... sounds like cowardly excuses for me. I feel like he is just not strong enough to protect the MC and his ambition to be the heir of their family is much greater than his so-called "love" for the mc—ofc these are all my opinions and the novel made it seem like his reasoning is right damn it.

2) Soseo is the main male lead and I have no problem with that... except—his presence was only strong at the beginning and he became "dull" and boring for me as an ML later on. He is not even the mc's first kiss... And idk, I somehoew prefer Seolhwa or Cha Seolhyu than him because he is not even the strongest there.

3) I prefer Cha Seolhyu.. the demonic cult leader... He is really wasted potential: he is the mc's first kiss and I really want him to be redeemed... He might have hurt the MC at the beginning but its to be expected of the demonic cult young master, esp when he didnt even know the MC... But later on he treat the MC nicely, feeding him, providing everything even when the MC was kidnapped, honestly he didnt really ab*se or hurt the MC physiclly except for that one time he went crazy... and I felt it force for the plot to make him a villain that is obssessed with the MC. It's really... unreasoble. How he fell for the MC.. even a crazy top should at least have a deep reason to fall... but the reasoning is just so... shallow for me. Because he shared his secret? because the MC is the first to know that secret? because the MC is cute? because the MC is the first to show concern about his life? But the MC cleared that he didnt know it was him... and later on the MC even showed obvious disgust for him... the more I think about it the more the reasoning seems to be "because he is the mc". The MC is weak and ordinary and even the ml's servant who he tortured and killed for letting the MC escape is much more interesting than the MC... f*ck, a wasted potential.

Cha Seolhyu watched his parents die, he went crazy and even the person he "loves" (the mc) wants him dead. I feel the author just wants to put a character so miserable and obssessive to make the MC stand out...

4) I hate the MC. At first, I really like how dense he is but later on he seems hypocritical to me. He hates the demonic cult for what they've done and for the people they killed... But this is a murim world... People die everyday whether good or bad and does he really think only the demon cult kills.. The author didnt even make the MC open up to reality that the world is not only black and white and its not only "righteous" and "demonic" sect but circumstances that led to gray areas but no, the novel made it seem like the righteous sect is really much better and is really "good"... Its so bland and suspicious. I just feel that the MC and his harem excluding Cha Seolhyu are hypocritical people... Did Cha Seolhyu choose to be born like that? Yes he is crazy and yes he did horrible things but f*ck they could have at least not make him fall for MC because the "falling" part is so shallow. If he is a mu*derer, make him one make him heartless... But when he became an "obssessive top" that is not even part of the mc's harem it just looks like he was used as a tool by the author to make the mc's character of "righteous" and "unyielding" stand out... it left a bitter taste on my tongue.

wasted potential

When child, Soseo bring them as a servant to his household because he don't want to part away with Myoha. Seolhwa is also someone the sibling saved before he go back to the north palace. Hwa is someone Myoha comforts (he actually like to get along with Soseo but people around him just want to bring Peng down and thought he's inferior *angry*)

If your wondering, he will end up with Soseo, he have a huge advantage plus that unwaiving faith Myoha have to him as his servant lol. I also like him, I'm just sad that Hwa have no choice but to give up and north palace isn't for Myoha... That lonely snowflakes (づ_ど). As for the villain, I dont want to remember it, it just making me sad. Bro will be a 'GwangGong' like a typical obsessive guy who just want someone to bw by his side... Unfortunately, Myoha isn't really for him and bro... Well, ya know *woosh*
