This novel is superrrrr intresting!!!! A unique concept of FL being the overbearing CEO and ML a calm and composed secretary. Though you will not find it hilarious at the start as it progresses it will make you laugh almost at all of it's chaps. The chemistry of FL and ML is superrrr fun and they r one of the best FL and ML pair for me. Funny and lighthearted. MC does what she wants and likes. She's so funny that I always laugh at her comments. ML is refreshing. He's smart and unlike every ML I came across with. I like what ML said to Chen Yifan. And MC's quote that sometimes it feels wrong but also right at the same time.

This novel is truly a gem! What's not to love about the MC and the storyline. MC truly got the most sassy tongue and her ability to make people speechless is really the best. I laughed so hard every few chapters. Meanwhile, ML is really the invisible Male God and he's so cute. A change of pace from male black-bellied president to a female black-bellied president lol.

I also love how the story also really focus on the business part and not just skim through it. In short, a very good... more>> read.

This novel is about Chu Chu who after being struck by lighting transmigrates into a vicious female character who shares the same nickname as her (Chu Chu). Accompanied by a system who constantly wants her to "strengthen her vicious female character halo" or she'll be annihilated Chu Chu's journey seemed like a tough one.

Starting off, can I just say how much I love Chu Chu??? Her character has to be one of the most memorable, non-mary stuish out there. She's very steadfast, witty, personable, and... more>> has great leadership qualities. I absolutely fell in love with her. Following her journey of this wacky tale is so delightful. I love how this novel takes normal tropes in QT and turns them on their head. Its 100% a reccomended read from mwah.

3.5 but rounded up.

This story starts out fairly entertaining but it'll quickly start to feel like nothing important happens. Even though we read through several events, it just doesn't feel like anything.

The MC is Chu Chu, a grown woman who alternates between acting like a kid and like a domineering CEO. She is very much an idiot savant when it comes to business (with a heavy influence on idiot imo). Chu Chu never changes her behaviour even when she finally gets with the ML.

The ML is there from the beginning... more>> but their relationship moves as fast as a glacier moving over land. He falls first but initially decides not to pursue her as he was from a different socioeconomic class.

In the beginning, Chu Chu starts off strong with forcing the world into giving her a different world before severing her ties with the original ML. Then we move on to her quickly making money. Every problem she encounters is easily solved or quickly becomes forgotten.

Then there is the "netizen dialogue" interspersed throughout the story. Some of it is entertaining but most just pads out the overall length without contributing to the story. I'd say about one third (at least) is just filler netizen dialogue.

Eventually Chu Chu's behaviour just becomes annoying which does little to help the bland plot. <<less

It was a fun read but slowly gets boring near the end. The original FL and ML was barely mentioned, would've been better if there was more confrontation between them and Chu Chu.

Chu Chu's character is funny, but is not realistic, same goes for the ML, not realistic. So just read and enjoy the comedy without thinking about the logic.

I gave 3 stars because the novel got nothing else besides the MC's funny antics, the story revolve around her and there's barely anything else for other characters. Other characters are... more>> basically dumbed down to showcase her wit. I also dislike romance so whenever it showed up I skipped it. The system was barely there, not very functional. <<less

This had quite the strong start, with a wonderful and whimsical FL and fantastic comedy, but it's let down by poor translation and an unsatisfying romance.

First off, the translation. It isn't terrible, per se, certainly not the worst I've come across and a lot better than MTL, but it's in desperate need of a fluent English editor that can rewrite the translated text into a more coherent whole. As it is right now, it's a bit straining to read, but it's certainly legible and gets its meaning across.

As for the... more>> romance, again, it starts strong and as a reader you can't help but ship the couple together, but then nothing really happens once they finally do. The couple loses all sense of chemistry and the ML suddenly starts acting more as a dad to the FL than anything else. It's incredibly frustrating to have to read well over 200 chapters for the fluff and then getting very little (and whenever something romantic does happen, it's usually interrupted by something shortly after, instantly destroying the mood). Author apparently thinks it's more important to summarize dry business stuff and endless internet chatter rather than showing a couple in love, I guess.

Other than that, I guess I should also talk a little about how the novel was long, but there's still the sense that there was a lot of stuff left unsaid at the end:

So many characters just faded away with no resolution to them, like the original ML and the reincarnated 2nd ML. The original FL was left hanging as well, which is especially upsetting since there was a moment between MC and her where MC promised to tell her the full story one day, and yet nothing came of that either. The assassination attempt culminated in a throwaway joke towards the end, when MC finally got a bodyguard so that she could learn how to restrain the ML so that she could have her way with him. And what about the mystery behind the novel world and the MC's transmigration?

Finally, I just have to mention that despite the FL being portrayed as a rather down to earth and lazy person whose biggest strength is knowledge of entertainment and technology trends and infinite charisma, the ML sort of ruins that by being one of the biggest Gary Stues you could ever come across in a novel. He can do anything well, and it only becomes worse as the novel progresses. Since it meshes well with the FL's desire to be a salted fish, this isn't necessarily a negative, but I feel like it should be mentioned in case you as a reader have low tolerance for that kind of thing.

All in all, I can't help but leave this novel a little disappointed in the end, especially after I read all the rave reviews here. <<less

It was funny and interesting in the first half but it's too long for no reason. The romance was sweet and funny, the FLs interviews and comebacks were sassy, full of nonsense but refreshing.

Too many lose ends though.

The o!ML just dropped off, Young Master Nan's rebirth was just forgotten, did he get together with the o!FL after being her piano teacher for so long? Who kidnapped the Chu father-daughter duo?

This is such a gem. I really can't believe I hadn't found this till now.

It is super comical and had a good story to it. Totally loved it. Although I read MTL from around chapter 40, the humour was still full. I just love how our MC is so awesome that she could render anyone speechless.

It is super duper funny, and I love the trope mix-ups and the tongue-in-cheek fourth wall writing. The downside is that toward the end of the story (the last 20-30 chapters or so), the plot kind of trails off. There isn't really a climax or anything, it just kind of goes until it ends.

Absolutely one of my favorite novels simply because it makes me laugh. I adore how witty the writing is and I recommend it to anyone who's having a bad day to cheer up. 5/5 stars just for Chu Chu

This novel is absolutely hilarious. The interactions between the leads are really funny. There were times I was almost ROFL (ノ＞▽＜。) ノ.

Chu Chu and Zhang Jianian are so cute💕. I really liked Chu Chi’s sharp tongue and illogical logic. And poor Lu Ren, forced to accept the role of a passerby (∪﹏∪).

I would really recommend this book. I loved it (≧﹏≦)

Absolutely hilarious. Well paced with great character interaction and story development. The MC is the perfect social engineer, able to talk her way through and around anything, which leads to so much of the hilarious events in the story. To be fair though, it starts out a bit more seriously, and gets more loose once the initial conflicts are sorted out. It is a bit strange how the worlds female lead is relegated to a minor role in the story, but it is a refreshing change on the normal sort... more>> of things that happen in stories like this. Seriously, this is absolutely hilarious and you will laugh your throat sore, especially in the later half of the story. <<less

OMG!!! I laughed so hard every few chapters. The sassy tongue and ability to make people speechless is really the best. Though you will not find it hilarious at the start (I thought it will be mellow dog blood since in earliest chapter blood is everywhere) as it progresses it will make you laugh almost at all of it's chapters.

The ML, the Invisible Male God, you won't get notice who he is at early chapters. This is the Author intentions, because he has the title of "PASSERBY A".... more>> It changes when they got engaged.

And, don't forget Old Chu, the God Money, this father-daughter relationship is a bit sweet bitter taste. When the Invisible Male God tried to be a peace maker bridge between daughter and father, MC asked him if Old Chu is truly loves his daughter why he couldn't see that the soul of his real daughter is replaced by her. 🥺😭 This is one of the best novel I ever read!!! <<less

This story didn't focus much on romance though, mostly it's about MC who dreamed to be a salted fish but somehow made her business more flourish with her witty method.

It's a pity that some things were left unexplained till the end.

The beginning is interesting and the FL is unique as well. After all, she was transmigrated as the vicious female supporting character, if it's the usual transmigrator FL, she will obey the system. But Chu Chu, the FL, didn't. She adhere by her principles and refuse to be vicious. Also, the roles of the ML and FL are reversed. I mean, this is not your typical domineering CEO and little secretary's office romance since the FL is the (trying hard) domineering CEO lol. I thought that after Chu Chu returned to her real world and then back to the novel world, it's nearing its end but no. The story was dragged on with a lot of loose ends like:

Who plotted to kidnapped the father and daughter Chu?

What's up with Nan Yandong? Why does he have different titles? Is he also reborn?

What happen to Xia Xiaoxiao? Although she's just a supporting character, as someone who originally has the halo of female lead, she deserves some mention, right?
