Ever since awakening as a guide, I’ve partnered with countless hunters, but this latest hunter is… a little strange.

“Hyung! We’re meant for each other!”

He’s only twenty years old, so his naivete was understandable at first…

“But I want us to share a room together! This is my first time partnering with a guide.”

Why does he keep making such reckless advances despite having that pretty face? Anyway, we’ll part ways once our one-year contract expires.

“Hey, hyung, wanna sleep with me? Since you’re my partner and all…”

However……

“I’m scared I might kill you in my sleep. And I hate how you see me as a monster……”

Is it possible to part with him…?

First 3 chapters impressed me, then the 10ish chapters after that lowkey almost made me give up. I'm glad I stuck around tho

Very solid worldbuilding, not just in technical terms, but also with experiential prose and imagery. Works very well with MC's narration. The story feels like a kaleidoscope, but the MC's point of view is quite pragmatic, and sober during quiet moments. A lot of said romantic moments are questioned with his narrative but still acknowledged in the end as an experience of their reality. ML breaks the melancholic... more>> philosophy of the MC every now and again, which adds a lot of humour to the plot. Overall their chemistry is oddly endearing.

Translation usually reads smoothly but some paragraphs repeat themselves. On a scale of 'illegible' to 'poetry', it lands an 'enjoyable'. Don't know why this isn't rated higher <<less
