At the first world the MC had to be a "slag" (of course, what else) and would ended up starving to death and the mission completed. And there're several plot like a quest that you need to finish in order to complete the mission, for example the MC had to cheated on the ML and sold him out to --idk--evil person (?)

Arc 1 - Ch 1 - Rich CEO/Adopted son

This was probably the strongest arc for me in terms of plot development, which makes sense since it's the first. I will say that reading QWFOD before this desensitized me to the age gap but mild warning there, it's pseudo-in*est after all.

Arc 2 - Ch 30 - Admiral/Rich second generation

This was also a good arc! I really liked the older brother. There was good plot buildup and the backstory actually made me sympathetic to the OG body as the whole situation was pretty terrible for him.

Arc 3 - Ch 53 - Sick CEO/Actor

A heart wrenching backstory with the most toxic love story, really don't know how I feel about this one. Liked it and also was ready to move on. I'm impressed with MC's ability to fall in love with every protagonist at this point.

Arc 4 - Ch 85 - Prince Regent/Emperor

This is like reverse wife chasing where the wife ab*ses but the husband still wants them back. Warning for the questionable age gap but do keep in mind they're both mentally of age.

Arc 5 - Ch 110 - Sentinel/Guide

This was a weak plot line for me, not much happened in terms of relationship development. The kid was cute! But I was definitely bored by the end, and a bit disappointed there was no real detail about their kids life as he grew up, though this was as expected with the rushed endings of each arc.

Arc 6 - Ch 131 - Adopted son/father

Back at it again with the questionable age gap and pseudo in*est except now with roles reversed! Kind of funny how it went from a wholesome healing family of three in the last arc to a f*cked up family with an evil head and 7 adopted children, MC really can't catch a break for long.

Arc 7 - Ch 155 - Cultivation world

Right before this arc, the overarching plot line is revealed, and it was definitely not what I was expecting. Pretty interesting concept I'll say! But it does make it clear that this will be the last world, probably because the author didn't want to write any more arcs hahaha. Also a world without the system! Which was sad, I missed their banter.

Real World - Ch 176

Now this was a pleasant surprise having the ML be the one to have memories while the MC now is the amnesiac. The dynamic was too funny of:

if 1 year in reality is 50 years in VR, then why would anyone choose to spend any time in reality when they can live multiple lifetimes in VR? Am I missing something here? The emotions, people, and everything else seem to be just as real in VR as in actual reality is all, so I don't see what you'd be missing out on. Just something that bothered me at the end about ML's world.

Brief info about the arcs:

1 modern setting where ML is a rich domineering type who supported MC financially and MC is a poor orphan trying to climb the rich golden thigh.

2 interstellar with mechas. ML is an admiral and MC is a "traitor/spy". The scene where MC is about to die was so perfect.
3 modern day setting where ML owns an entertainment company and MC is an actor (a not very good one 😂). This fic has psychology elements to it with ML suffering psychological trauma.

4 ancient historical setting where ML is a reborn prince regent (who is the one controlling everything behind the scenes) and MC is the emperor (mostly powerless puppet). Lol

5 sentinel/guide where ML is a "dark sentinel" (basically OP) and MC is a guide which a child (mpreg but MC doesn't go thru the entire pregnancy and uses technology instead and it's thru a time skip).

6 modern day setting where MC is a business mogul and ML is one of his 10 adopted children.
8. Ancient cultivation setting where ML is MC's eldest senior brother. This arc is the final arc that MC uses to say goodbye to ML

9 MC returns to his own world/wakes up from his coma. He's forgotten everything from the QT. But turns out his soul remembers things (he doesn't want to go back to school because he feels like he's been in school too much 😂, he's able to answer business questions and thinks he's a genius among geniuses 😂😂, and he dislikes the drama Emperor Chen Yuan (not sure if I'm remembering the name correctly) because he feels like it's fake - this was his life in arc 4). ML comes to find him and we get more info on why ML was being punished. And the system gave MC a nice parting gift.

10 There was one extra showing life for our slag shou system! Very cute! And I totally ship sss with main system. Rice cooker makes an appearance too 😂😂

So, basically, the ML, after beginning his relationship with the MC, proceeds to track not only his location but his very "emotions" through what is essentially a heart monitor (this was disguised as a birthday gift I believe to the MC). Around chapter 20 or so, he is notified of the fact that the MC's mood has suddenly fluctuated/he's gone into shock. He rushes back home as a result, and this is where I could no longer tolerate the ML of this novel. This is my own personal opinion, but the fact that he monitors him through a heart rate monitor (I believe) is so beyond the bounds of a healthy relationship. I've read a lot of novels on this site where the power dynamics between two people were definitely uneven, and I have a lot of opinions about those as well. But this in particular seems very invasive, and it's frustrating to know that every single one of these worlds will be HE despite the ML's actions.

They have lived together for hundreds of years in the other virtual worlds, determined to have eternal love and find eachother again in every life. So, just to have in the end this final, short, ordinary life on earth for a few more decades... that can't be satisfying right? ML came from a super technological advanced planet/world. Why don't take them back there to live a few hundreds year more? Or go through more virtual worlds to enjoy eachother longer
