I'm not good with words but I simply love this novel, and I'm rereading it for the 3rd time.

So 5 stars for me, to celebrate a MC that's not OP and just as s*upid as the general population in the name of love.

This novel is so heart warming. Every arc has an interesting plot and can see a grown up MC with kindness and conscience. Many times it will make the reader cry and can also make them laugh after a short moment.

Go for it. It will be a worthwhile read.

How many time have I laughed and cried in this story?

MANY TIME!! XD

There are sweet and fluffy moment but then the dog blood came and I’m cry buckets. (Literal the climate of each arcs)

... more>> ML tho possessive he is not bad. All he want is MC to love him, so he would pursue MC and one of them is acting pitiful. He also suffer as well and considering MC feeling for him.

MC is trying really hard but he can’t play his part and in his defense it is the protagonist (ML) fault who go side track. MC alway have sympathy with the protagonist and *cough cough like (ML) while reassuring the system he would definitely finish his task because he set his mind to succeed LOLL

At this point System already give up. He find relief in singing. ? The system and MC is really adorable.

Overall, this is really enjoyable. There are funny moments that make you laugh, the fluffy moment between ML and MC and then the dog blood XD <<less

Let me say this first. This story is so adorable!!!!

I love MC personality and the real world story. I also like that the ML and MC both have high imagination. The MC wants to put a green hat on the ML but the ML think that MC is doing it because he's afraid of smearing ML reputation. What a dog blood drama lol

this isn't as bad as I was fearing, what with the dense protagonist tag (i hate idiot MC). The MC seems to be pretty smart, he's just young and inexperienced and the ML is usually 10-15 years older than him in each of the worlds. Which, now that I think about it, is pretty typical in Asian romance novels, whether BL or BG.

No spoiler or some leads character whatsoever. This novel is good, if you like Heroic Death System or QWFOD, then, this one is definitely your cup of coffee too. :).

Funny, light-hearted and a satisfactory ending. This wasn't one of those QTs that primarily spreads dog food, but one that actually had a plot.

Romance is central in this, and its 1v1 with a HE so keep that in mind when reading this.

Dont forget to read the extra chapters too, they are super fulfilling. This is the second novel after QWTFOD that I have read more than once, so that might give you a good idea on what to expect.

Haaaaaaahhhh Although the plot is not that complicated but the MC shou and the system are both so meng so it's a fun ride.

The overal rating is 4, 5

I've read several system novels. Although not many but the system in this novel is the cutest!!! I love its banter with the MC so much! The ML is fun to read but he is not getting fleshed out much and the explanation of his backgroumd story is just glossed out. But I cannot find any plot hole so far. Even if... more>> there is, it's insignificant to the overal story. Everything in the plot and the worlds make sense and greatly explained.

Don't be afraid if you read some complains that this contains r*pe. It's actually not like that. The MC has to follow the script and has to ab*se the ML to get as many points that he can get in order for him to success in his mission and go home to his own world. So, eventhough he has already suspected that the ML is the same guy in every world, he still has to pretend to dislike him and pretend to be unwilling in doing the deeds. So, it looks like the ML is forcing him, while it actually isn't.

You need to be able to read between the lines. In the last world, the real world, when the author says that the ML has trained the MC to recognize his tells and habits in each world, that explaines everything. The MC knows it's him every time. <<less

Absolutely adored this! The ML being tortured and MC torturing him the best he can but he can't cause his true personality keeps coming through and the ML continues to be tortured anyways. Absolutely adored the extra too, I ship it so much and would love to see a side story for our little system.

Best read I have had, could not put this down and ended up neglecting my studies. That's how good this is! Satisfactory ending, delicious extra and a beginning that makes it all the more worth it.... more>> All characters are tied up in a nice and big bow and ample degrees of character evolution! There is nothing much to be said, this is the kind of story I strive to eat and create. A perfect all rounder oh how wonderful it is. Genuinely just read it for yourself!

The author seems to really like big age gaps so if you are not a fan of that this story might not be for you, but you would surely be missing out on a really good story! Everyone is so lovable! <<less

Loved it (mostly)

Think the story was well written and I quite liked each arc. Only reason why I took away a star is because I HATED the endings of each arc. They aren't bad, just that I dislike QT stories where MC spends their full life span or extended years in it, just because it makes me feel really bad when they do die and leave MC. BUT ignoring that, 10/10 on this story.

A great read if you enjoy enemies to lovers as MC goes through many cycles of exactly that. Many worlds cut off neatly once the relationship becomes established, thus circumventing the (imo boring) fluff stage.

The quality of this novel fluctuates enormously. The action and plotting can dumb as bricks but then the emotional moments are gorgeously done. The characterization swings wildly from surprisingly well thought out to lacking any internal consistency. Some arcs had me glued to the screen, others were a major drag. To enjoy the story, you really... more>> have to be able to laugh it all off (or read so lightly as not to notice).

Nit picks

    • It has some "r*pe as romance" but it's brief and frivolous (as a fan of non-con, it's a joyless affair)
    • The story presents romantic relationships as the deepest relationship a person can have, which rubbed me the wrong way.

      It's to the point that even MC's bond to his children comes off as pithy and shallow

Did really enjoy this, but am dropping this for now. From other reviews I can see if have another plot, maybe a plot and a half, but while I got really engaged with the previous plotlines I can kinda feel that the author is getting to be done with this. Will come back and finish another day, I do still recommend it as this is really fun and funny, charming characters, just this last plotline has fallen flat for me and I need a mental break from this story.

Reread this 4 times. My favorite arcs so far is 2, 3, and 4. Least favorite is 6 and 7. I like a novel where it touches on the emotional aspects of a relationship, no matter how dark it is.

Chi Zhou isn’t omniscient, overpowered, or have an IQ that is high. He simply is doing the tasks set by the system. He can do them, it’s just bc of the pig teammate ML that he can never fully (actually maybe?) complete them.

ML is every BL novel character out there.

I didn't expect to like this novel as much as I did. The first arc disappointed me. It had a really weird storyline in my opinion, but I kept reading because I found it interesting regardless. I really don't regret it! I ended up liking all the other arcs.

I really liked how the author didn't decide to make this some dog blood drama with a ton of misunderstandings. The MC reciprocates the ML's love, and lets him know it! The ML respects the MC's boundaries. Though he's your typical overbearing... more>> ML, but you can tell he really cares for him. In some of the arcs, I do admit that the consent is sometimes dubious, I feel that the MC did want it.

The ending was really nice. I loved reading about their adventures. I also loved how the quick transmigration was explained! That was a writing choice I haven't seen many QT novel writers make. I found that very intriguing, and I think that closes the noticeable plot holes. Also, I definitely ship the system with the rice cooker haha. I love same age couples. Highly recommend if you want a fluffy story with some drama sprinkled in between. <<less

Its worth to read. QT, not complicated. My fav stories were the sentinel-guide arc and the cultivation arc. I know, it gets boring near the end. But trust me, its quite good. I cried when reading the cultivation arc. Not because the main couple, but the side couples who was so tragic.

This book is a really light read. The kind that doesn't need that much thought put into it and I think that much is clear from the synopsis. However, I still think it is still a pretty good mindless read. I have to admit that there's not really much character development that you can expect, but if you just want a teeth rotting sweet kind of book, then this book is perfect for you.

I quite liked this novel.

Don't go expecting deep plot and using your brain (though the ML might need to get some rocks out his).

It's pretty much fluff. Not much goes on. If these Arcs were individual worlds and explored deeper and the conflicts more reasonable, I would spend two days binge reading.

The MC, who can't do his job right.

And the ML, who doesn't seem to be smart at all. Or maybe he's so smart that he has some bias? Either way, he needs to go see a doctor to check his brain.

Not only the characters, the Arcs are short and make you expect more but BAM you're already at Arc 7.

It's a horrid thing.
