AS OF CHAPTER 20

Honestly, this story is pissing me off. The MC feels like an absolute pushover. Barely ever speaks up.

The Hero is an idiot who can't realize that she isn't excited about being in a different world without her friends or family. Expects her to eagerly join him on his mission with no powers.

Then there's her first job. This one REALLY pissed me off. Everyone treats it like she's at fault when no one explained anything to her. She even blames herself for leaving because they'll be mad. It's... more>> really infuriating.

AS OF CHAPTER 43

I kind of dislike most of the characters. Especially cause it almost feels like the story wants us to feel both sympathetic for the MC and not blame the characters. But so many of them are just jerks.

But at least I like the main character a bit more by now. Up to chapter 20 was rough.

AS OF CHAPTER 60

It reads a lot better now and I mostly like it all. I just don't like Luke the (I assume) romantic lead. He just comes off like a jerk. I dunno if people like this kind of guy but, I certainly don't.

I think that's enough for a review at this point.

AS OF CHAPTER 77

Yeah. Nah. I'm done. She's an idiot. Noble says, "Marry me because you'd be a good addition to our bloodline" and clearly has no understanding of "love". She at least puts her foot down that she doesn't want to marry him but good god. Not only does he not get it in the most infuriating way, no one speaks up for her except like, once.

Then, after all this and it's clear to everyone, she asks if he likes her. Seriously girl??? She's infuriatingly dumb at times, I dislike most of the side characters either for own personality or their lack of aid 80% of the time. <<less

The girl was really just a regular girl - no powers or ability to use magic.

I'm on chapter 38 and it's till too early to judge, but it's a quick read so try reading it yourself!

Quite boring so far, lacking in description and depth. Characters are the flat cookie cutter type with no embellishment. I would also say very cliche if we were following the male lead... summoned as a hero to a magical realm to defeat the demon king, princess gushing over the hero, hero has holy magic... etc. Fortunately that's not the case, the story is about the female lead. You would think this is a good thing but it's not! The female MC (Setsu) apparently has no magic so it's a mystery... more>> as to how she will work with magic tools. She does seem to have an aptitude for understanding their function with little to no explanation so there is a sliver of hope there but that's about it. With no friends or family as support and her enormous dislike for the medieval setting, this is a tragedy in the making! What a horrible fate to be summoned to a magical world and not be able to use magic. <<less
