One of the flaws of this novel was that it was lacking. Or maybe my desire for it to not end. And the romance huhu it's more of a sub-plot than anything. The ending seemed especially rushed? Anyways, it did hook my interest enough for me to stay up all night for days straight so I could read it all and well, there are some boring parts but it's all good in my opinion.

5/5 for translation because it's ER.

Probably a 3.5 out of 5? I think it's a good story that got me engrossed, in fact so engrossed that I stayed up till 5am and finished this novel within 24h. What I found a bit lacking is the romance element, yes, romance is the sub-plot, I know. Perhaps if I entered reading this novel without much expectations for the romance then the scoring wouldn't have been affected. Even though I think the story and premise are interesting, I don't think is a story I will revisit, though I... more>> definitely didn't regret reading it. The most impactful moment I felt is like what the translator mentioned, the breaking up despite being together for 6 cycles. Even as an unlimited flow novel I feel that it is also slightly lacking, perhaps I prefer plots with a little more logic, like Card Room? <<less

A good unlimited flow story. Sure there were some loop holes but it was an interesting ride.

When I read the synopsis I thought MC doesn't do much. But I'm really glad I was wrong. MC is the most important character in this story. Even though he is related with 3S rank survivors they don't do much in the plot. MC's character development was well done.

Just like what others’ said, this story is very interesting and worth reading. Although it has some flaw, it was still bearable to read. The synopsis was indeed quite misleading as I also thought that this story has a comedic tone but nevertheless, I still enjoyed reading it.

I quite liked the characters but I’m going to be honest, they’re the reason I gave one less star in rating. This might be one of the author’s early works as the author focused more on the plot and neglected the characters. Thankfully,... more>> the author managed to deliver the story well.

Overall, it is worth reading and I definitely recommend you try and read this. <<less

Probably the most interesting in terms of survival genre. The world is going to a big change and seemingly ordinary MC got caught up in the change. MC might have a really stiff personality but really what makes up is the horror what the novel called playfield. The amount of fair and unfairness that the players/survivors had to go through is just horrific. I like the fact that the ending make sense. I feel like the development of the characters is not enough but the story is still interesting so... more>> I give it 4.5. <<less

4.5 stars! It was a fast-paced exciting read for the first 50 chapters and it gradually veers into the speculative mystery in the latter half which worked out for me. I read this in multiple sittings and needed to digest what was going on. The playfields are the main stars in this book and I can tell the author thoroughly planned out the details and loopholes. The main characters are somewhat lacking in depth and personality, and readers never get a well-rounded backstory to flesh out their interests, beliefs, and... more>> understanding of what makes them tick. Shen Si is always kind and wishing for a better future and I like that he kept that integrity during unfair gameplay and even while the world went to shit. He's an OP character that makes sense and I especially enjoyed the finale where he destroys. The story is not without its cliches such as scenes of Shen Si winning a playfield, saving people,

I read this book in one week despite having exams... It just shows how great the story is!

The plot is really well done with many unexpected events. When you think of something which may arrive it could be true but not for the reason for which you though. At first, when I read this I didn't expect something very intense with a large story behing our MC (Shen Si), but I was really happy to notice that I was wrong. When you read hera the summary, you don't know who... more>> is the ML though you can guess by the summary or by reading the summary on jjwxc. I actually like how cold was our protagonist towards everyone including the ML even if I could notice he was not that indifferent towards him in my opinion. (The author insisted too much on the part where he was cold towards ML to think that he has no feelings towards him.) The side characters were great and well written too, I like the dynamic they add on the story.

Actually, I would love if the author could write the first "life time". Well, I guess it won't happen but it was so great that telling goodbye to the charcaters make me sad.

For those who are not sure whether they should read this or not you should if you want some timeline story/power, survival game with a romance subplot (it is not really present but it came by the end, the interaction between MC and ML were wholesome ^^). <<less

I couldn't understand why it only has a 4.3 rating even though this novel is really good. Subjectively speaking, this is super interesting especially the MC and ML, the obsession of ML, the avoidance of MC on certain 'things', the plot development, character interaction and many more interesting things. The only thing I didn't like is the sudden disappearance of the cousin and Mr. Bai from the frontlines of the scenes. They weren't given enough screen time, they were just abruptly cut-off from the main plot. They weren't given that... more>> much time for the plot development and I felt that it was just a loss, honestly there's just so much potential that was lost. Only if they were given more attention, the novel would probably be in another level. Even now I feel a little regretful.

Okay, enough of that talk. Anyways, Overall, it's a really nice novel. A good read and something worth investing your time in. I highly recommend to the future readers.

Quite interesting plot, even with holes every now and then.

Not completely airtight cause and effect as several scenes were only mentioned but not integrated into action in the current time flow in the story.

However it was still a good read.

After thinking about this for a while, this story makes perfect sense especially at the point where indeed the the world revolved around the MC but at the same time it wasn’t. Him not “given” a reason why he is the center because of his personality is unfair; especially if you thought of him as a psychopath. It also makes sense that the romance aspect is minuscule.

the only thing I pity is the protagonist choose to reset the timeline.. I feel like what if shen si didn't reset the timeline, then what will happened?

Other than that, I'm so confused with the information on the novel. It felt like something is missing and need an explanation, a really really long explanation of something but it's probably my brain that's too slow to adapt on the plot and information haha

It's a shame Xi Luo never got any screentime or rather, not often show up. The summary had JunYi and Xi Luo's name but they don't really show up often, even JunYi didn't show up when shen si is reseting the timeline, but it's fine since this is more focused on the MC. I can understand

Unique plot! For me, though, I wanted the entire cast's characters and relationships to be more fleshed out, as the story focused more on the unlimited flow aspect. The story also felt like it should've been a longer one. Nevertheless, a thrilling read.

out of all the stories I've read... this actually had the least plot holes.

from the foreshadowing and mystery of the supernatural events, everything was wrapped up completely and everything was explained and blended with the goal of the plot.

although I do understand some of the Reader's misgivings about the MC... but tbh his characterization is one of the best out there. don't hesitate to read this because of some comments about the MC, everything has an explanation and it's not like the MC was truly indifferent.

romance part... if you're looking... more>> for some overly sweet romance then this probably is not the story for you. but out of all the romances out there... I feel like the romance here fits perfectly with the setting of the story.

overall, the story was great. I probably won't reread it but it is definitely unforgettable.

just to quote something in the story, there is nothing better than the future! <<less

Honestly, I rarely write reviews, but for this novel, I just had to write one to rate.

The story itself just keeps on making you want to keep on reading them. The flow of the story is smooth, and emotional as well in some parts. Plus, there are no awkward romantic scenes or any awkward scenes really, it's just so smooth. Like everything or every decision, it makes sense why the MC chose them.

It's worth a read. Like literally worth it.

I liked so much of this but the MC is just too indifferent. Not ordinary at all level of indifference. He doesn't have some fundamental human desires that make it possible to relate to him.

May try reading this again later, but I don't know. Like so much of the setting is likable. Like the whole survivors reintegration into society thing is interesting, but this MC is just too weird for me.

Worth giving a shot, but not my cup of tea sadly.

Please, please give this book a try, even if it's not your usual style. It's so wonderful.

It's a tight, horror/thriller with tons of brains and careful writing. So much is revealed in bits and pieces. You go around once, then around again and a new aspect of a character or clue is added. It's the hardest kind of story to pull off successfully cause you have to juggle plot elements without giving away secrets.

This author did a phenomenal job tackling a hard project without flinching. She also created an MC... more>> who is very unique and it isn't until the very last moment that we find out exactly what he is and has done. His personality comes across as extremely detached, especially in the beginning, giving away almost nothing then is so carefully added to bit by bit until you see the whole person....I know I'm rambling here, but I just finished and I'm a little overwrought.

Of course the story isn't perfect. There are little plot holes and things you have to hand wave, some characters are there but dropped and picked up here and there. I'm still not 100% on board with the MLs character, but he does improve a lot. That said, this novel is still better than 60% of the stuff that gets published and sold hardback in bookstores. I would love to see this translated (still TONS of love to Exr for taking this on.) and put on those bookshelves so a wider audience can have a chance to see what non-English authors can do. <<less

It's unfair how awesome this story is I really couldn't stop scrolling once I began.

You should definitely give this story a chance it's definitely different from the usual romance is more of a sub plot than anything. I absolutely love how the characters were portrayed.

Read this story you will not regret it.
