Absolutely a Gem!

Different side of Xian Xia story. You may reach immortality with technology 😂 😂 😂

Really fall in love with MC. How he "cut" the stereotypes and cliche style of hero in cultivation world. Also ML, with the type of CEO mix with silly love syndrome 😂 😂 😂

But, what more magnificent for me, was the world building. Fantastic 😍. No plot holes and everything is clear in the end

I like this plot a lot. This is pretty entertaining and the characters were quite likable.

I would say that this novel is a rather light and simple read. There were very few more emotional moments.

Plotwise this was quite different than other isekais in a positive way. However most of the plottwists were pretty foreseeable which I am not rlly a fan of.

Imo this romance is a bit unfeeling. Reason for this is probably the rather frank and casual behavior of the couple. I think some details about their feelings especially in the developing phase was missing. I also think that some desperation in certain situations could’ve been amplified.

Contrary to the romantic aspect I rlly enjoyed the use of modern knowledge of the MC. He rlly knows how to do business. I also think that the novel was tied together pretty well.

To summarize, this novel is quite enjoying and not too heavy. It might lack some emotional depth but it is pretty well written. <<less

I'm relatively early but I just want to say that if you are looking for a satisfying novel with invention and stuff, this novel is for you. It's both funny and satisfying to see modern invention in an ancient/cultivation setting.

Of course I'm not talking about the modernism like the Kardashians but the overall technological and industrial developments of a modern and even advanced civilization

Since I couldn't comment to the website post, I'll be just making my comments here. Most of the problem the people of Misty Continent encounters (both demonic... more>> and orthodox faction) were because they couldn't utilize their resources properly. Imagine not knowing science and the logic behind elements and how things function. They do have some simple understanding but it all comes down to whether it's relevant to their powers and occupation. Basically, majority of people are hoping to ascend to immortality through cultivation so the physical reality was ignored by these masters. It's like in the real world where most people are striving to get rich through corporate positions regardless of their passion <<less

Very charming, the plot is teased very early on and pretty much all things teased eventually do end up getting used, there's also not crazy plot twists because things are implied and ignored on purpose so you can connect the dots pretty easily, and the romance is pretty sweet too and it develops quite slowly but also does not drag out.

The themes are unique yet executed really well which is unfortunately quite rare. As you read through the entire thing the romance actually turns out quite deep. The plot holes that are usually left unanswered (like how did the protagonist end up world hopping) actually end up with a really well constructed and emotional explanation. All the characters turn up really silly because of the mc’s unexpectedness lol. But more importantly, the side characters here actually have lives and strengths of their own instead of simply being enhancement tools for... more>> the main leads which I really appreciated. A really fun and refreshing cultivation novel.

Cultivation mixed with Science something which work out pretty nicely

ML is so endearing in a new way not your typical ML cool face and cold. He let you know how he's feeling while remaining cool and you still can't do nothing sort of type haha.

... more>> MC really doing everything he wants in his scienctific way, quirky, but he's so saintly* in a way. Good to all people but don't feel he's can't tell good from bad. He's tolerant and smart, he's a great MC.

Power level is balanced and the fights are actually exciting because you can't predict the outcomes for once.

The characters are all memorable, have their own stories and are well written

The plots is also deep and emotional while maintaining relaxing sort of humor, like best novel author has written in her career

This novel is quite short, but is such a great joy to read <<less

This is pretty good fusion between cultivation novels and... modern ideas. At least the modern nerd in me is satisfied

if this is your first ever story about xianxia you plan to read, you should put it down and read other xianxia novels before starting this one.

This way, you will fully savour the bewilderment, comedy and ingenuity of the story

I absolutely enjoyed this, and I think the way the author wrote this one is more improved (or different) than NTNH— series of events flow more smoothly and the plot + conflict is more nicely introduced and paced out. (Although tbf to NTNH, I feel that one is written to be episodic— this one has a more cohesive plot from start to finish, so YMMV)

there's more kissing scenes than in NTNH!! They get together halfway through and ML (Jun Shu) is insistent on getting a daily kiss amount from our MC (Zhu Changyang), who, while hesitant at first because he's not sure about his ~feelings~, imo is more quick on the uptake and lets him be conquered (willingly!) by our domineeing CEO like ML. (Disclaimer: the CEO thing is a joke, please do not base your impression of ML with my comment, you'll understand it when you read it)

It's alot, but it's an easy read! Surprisingly one of the best xianxia novel I've read in terms of progression and plot to plot flow? There's still some cumbersome parts, but everything is interesting. It's just alot, so having stamina/endurance to get through 200 chapters is all you need.

Very fluffy and sweet, the relationship is very refreshing as well. Recommend for people who wants the ML and MC to flirt the entire way, no slow burn here.

I truly fell in love with this story. The characters and the world, are brilliant. It's funny, and yet it manages to retain emotional complexity. I loved how absurd it became at times, the surprises kept piling up! There are /some/ plot points that seem obvious as you go along, but that doesn't really matter as you never know what our MC will come out with to tackle the obstacles. Devy has my whole heart! I want a whole novel on her~

A very fun, sweet, and relationship-oriented adventure story with a dash of absurd humor lmao. By "relationship", I mean both friendship and romance! I read most of the reviews and I was a tad skeptical, but I'm glad that I trusted them to read it bc I definitely enjoyed this story!

+ The ML is a green flag dressed as a yellow flag. He is NOT a red flag, I repeat, NOT a red flag!! He's very loyal, devoted, protective, and a tad spoiled and bratty, but he respects the MC a lot and always listens to him. He also doesn't try to act cool all the time and he has a very strong personality (like the MC!), which I love. We do not need more ice cold, CEO-type MLs istg

+ The MC, despite being a bit of a Gary Stu, is a very lovable, friendly, and kind character with a noticeable personality. One thing I enjoyed is that the MC has a personality that is consistent and fun, but also easy to read. He's clever, pragmatic, and always willing to help others, which is so nice to see!

+ So. Much. Friendship!! I love platonic relationships!! There were so many!! I enjoyed them all <3

+ Most if not all of the characters are seriously lovable.

+ Everything connects story-wise. The author does a great job of closing all of the loops and plot holes and there are even story lines for things that I didn't consider. Everything was quite fresh to me and I enjoyed practically all of the storylines and arcs. The author also uses every single character and resource very strategically and wonderfully, so practically none of it is wasted.

+ I like the science parts of the story. It may seem long-winded, but I enjoyed knowing that the author knows what they're talking ab and I personally enjoy science. Also, none of it was TOO absurd imo, but it was definitely still wild enough to be funny XD

+ It was quite funny XD the humor is a tad absurd and very dumbfounding, but I personally loved it

+ Honestly, not much. However, I can guess what future reviews are going to say.

+ Some people did not like how easy the journey is for our MC, and while I agree that it can seem really easy, I personally enjoyed it. This is a feel-good, pleasant read where you don't need a lot of thinking, but the author still took a lot of care to make. It's a very happy story, but the author won't make you feel s*upid, but instead, will invite you to learn and have fun within the story.

+ You might start feeling bad for Ol' Machine (*cough* Li Ying), but both I and the author assure you that he deserves it lmao (for having a history of harassing women. This isn't a big plot point tho, just a fun detail).

+ They don't go too much into the yao side of things, which I think is a great loss, but honestly, the story's already 240 chapters long, so it's not too bad.

Over all, this story is a feel-good story with plenty of fun, adventure, great plot and drama, romance, and humor. I'm extremely and pleasantly surprised to find such a good read out of nowhere! I highly recommend if you want a sweet story and you have a lot of time and want to feel relaxed! <<less

Such wonderful story, personal rating 4.5. At first I got a bit sceptical bcs of the plane transmigration and so on but actually it so funny, although the development part is good but somewhat it's go here and there, the twist is also good it maje everything make sense, the live comments also supporting the scene and makes me more close with author idea, it's fun.. Just the usual problem with author work (romance but lack of something, idk maybe bcs what author write is the typically without word just... more>> action love language) the extra is also interesting and enjoyable, after all those chpters I could say I'm satisfied <<less

It's a very casual engineering magic story. There are things that I would do differently, such as a harder magic system with more interesting rules and a magic that isn't regular tools but magic, but this is still a good read and I'm glad I read it even though I hate this type of ending. When a cutie meets another cutie they form a family of cuties.

This novel was sweet from top to bottom. There wasn't much conflicting actions despite many conspiracies and fights happening since our leads have powerful golden fingers.

The flow is good and side characters have their own importance. One thing that took some points off was how everything was too convenient for the MC and some parts were very predictable, but those aren't a biggie since I wasn't expecting high tension scenes from a feel-good novel. I really enjoyed the whole... more>> industrilization of a cultivation novel, and opened my eyes to how modern society household items can be used for cultivation.

ML and MC's relationship is really sweet and these two dorks are perfect for each other.

It's been a while since I was this immersed in reading. The world building just amazing how could the author have idea to combine cultivation and technology together is beyond me. The romance is perfect amount for me. I love how yellow Jun Su is and how Changyang just accept who Jun Su is. I love how Changyang pamper Jun Su too.
