This novel is all trough and no crest. The plot drags the MC behind it while beating him with the path. There's an absolute ton of semi-relevant side characters with robust back stories. But they're all horrible people. If someone does something nice, it's because the situation triggered their PTSD.

If you're the type that exhaustively searches for NPCs and flavor text in RPGs to drag out nuggets of lore, this book might be for you. However, don't expect any catharsis. If this series is going somewhere, they certainly haven't told... more>> the reader about it within 100 chapters. <<less

No pace at all. Skiping 3-4 perspectives per chapter. The author doesn't let the reader have any kind of breake. MC doesn't have any kind of control to the plot other than "miraculous" events that save him. Too many female side characters for a middleage setting. To many creatures. Vampires dominate the first 100 chapters...

It had great potential had the pace been better and the focus sett moore on the politican and meddieval aspect of the story. Unrewarding at frustrating story after 100 chapters.

It is must read novek on webnovel.

This is one of novels which you are willing to pay to read along with rtw, ccg, lom, ri, ri, cos, moe basically it is in top their in terms of story with along other novels.

Chapters are long and their is no repeation of words.

About the novel, novel revolves around Thales our ML who is soul transmigrator and is of royal blood line living as child beggar. All royal bloodline posessor have died with only king and his son thales livinging a bloody year where all forces in world plotted against constellation (kingdom) and their family and that year after affects are seen even now.

Chacters are well fleshed out and you want to be with them in their moments.

MC has likable personality.

Story is journey about him becoming king of constellation with enemys all around while taking advantage of him.

It has good political schemes. Ithas its own share of dark stories, uplifting stories and humor and sad stories which brings characters to life.

There are many kingdoms with their own politics.

There are four types of power types:

1) ordinary powerful knights/peoples

2) swordsman with power awakened.

3) psionic ability people (like controling wind, sand etc).

4) Mystics: taboos and most powerful of groups and nearly immortals

There are other spicies like vampires, elf, dwarve, monsters etc.

It's a great story. But beware, this will not be a light reading at all. The plot and mystery is really thick. You will need more energy to digest the story. Don't try marathon for this novel. You will get a headache just like me.

Kingdom's Bloodline is a slow well padded story with some real political and character depth. The padding is usually well integrated into the story and doesn't seem jarring or too repetitive. The story is let down, however, by the authors frequent use of one cliche which is that no character ever seems to travel with enough security to be of any use - a fact which allows the author to force in multiple useless fight arcs.

To elaborate, a few examples of this lack of story can be seen in how... more>> every single time the main character is travelling somewhere - whether this be from his house to the palace or from his country to another there is at least one assassination attempt or all out fight - yet the MC never learns from this. Having survived several assassination attempts and in the process of heading out to another incredibly dangerous country he chooses (for s*upid plot reasons) to only take a small retinue of followers - all of whom soon begin to die as a result of fights.

Overall this novel is well written enough that you may be able to overlook this cliche, but do be aware that it is ever present in Kingdom's Bloodline. <<less

First off, the translation is very good or that the writer of this novel is. The writing is much refined compared to many of the other chinese novels, but because of that, the story goes at a snails pace.

Started off very dark, which wasn't a bad thing however it starts to fall off after that. Thales, the main character of the novel is a reincarnator, yet he fails to act like one 80% of the time; instead all he does is cry, whine and acts like a little kid, and... more>> I don't mean in front of others, I mean when he's alone and thinking to himself. There are lots of twists and turns in this story some that you might not even suspect because of that and the writing/translation, I'm giving this a 3 instead of a 1.

Very slow moving novel, 40% of the time you'll be in other characters POV, however at least they aren't 1 sided characters. <<less

I'll probably be 500 years old by the time the story actually progresses anywhere

Woohoo world building and details on a story I'm not invested in at all! Let's spend over hundreds of chapters before we progress the plot to 20%. Admitting that the story has decent writing but damn I don't want an entire encyclopedia for every character before the story progresses. Kills the mood, and yeah I know there isn't a hundred chapters translated yet, but you get a general understanding on how these people write after reading several... more>> years worth of their stories. <<less

Great start goes down from there

No clear distinction of power levels

way to many characters at start

... more>> 2 gangs fight but each have 20 odd leaders doesn't make clear who is with who makes it confusing to read

To much background nonsense by that I mean keeps leaving the MC to describe a fight currently on going. Yes the winner meets with MC later but If MC hasn't met character before it makes It look like it jumps here and there.

It is a gang fight with few hundred peoples main focus on the leaders. Leaders keep dying but it doesn't show at any point how many are still alive
