So far this is pretty interesting. Gives me Pirates of the Caribbean vibes because it's a bit vulgar, gory, and very pirates vs. Navy and then delves into politics. Talk of r*pe and such are included so be warned. The book is kinda, how to put this, harsh? The very first paragraph starts with a man's head being cut in half kinda harsh. You want fluffy don't look here. This is a dirty journey.

MC: seems to be our shou/taker and is who the novel tends to stick to point of... more>> view wise. Our MC is around early 20s (despite being called boy, he just looks young). He is a tough cookie with a tragic past. Inside him hides a soft heart even though he is surrounded by filth. He tries to not kill when unnecessary even though it is his job. He is an assassin (found out right away so no spoiler in my opinion). Just the basics on him, I leave this here.

ML: you know that guy in animes who has always closed eyes and a cold smile. That's like our ML in a nut shell. He is around his later 20s or early 30s. He always looks happy but is cold inside. Lies always come out and you never know what he wants (expect us readers do because his thoughts are shared). That being said point of view will be given to our ML occasionally which is nice. Our ML does seem to genuinely like our MC and not just because he is a clue to what the ML is looking for. Welp that's enough on him.

Plot: seems to be politics mixed with some thoughts on how humanity behaves "dirty" when both wealthy and when poor. The MC battles the dirty side of poor and the ML battles the dirty side of the wealthy. I'll leave the rest for you to find out.

Not ready to rate officially seeing as there isn't too much yet but I'd give it a 4 something out of 5 so far with what I've read. Again, this novel is "harsh" so avoid it if you are sensitive to any of the topics/tags (r*pe, gore, mu*der, etc.) I'll add these tags too seeing as I don't see some.
