A satisfying read, a complete and well-rounded story, and interesting characters. The MC's truly original ways of thinking were my favorite part of the novel, how he handled his various antagonists, especially in the early stages, was great.

The romance was cute, a little unique.

The pacing was a little wonky - sometimes a bit too fast, sometimes a bit too slow. And for a lot of problems towards the end of the book, instead of fun creative solutions it was just "I have lots of money and minions and can make... more>> all my problems disappear". So only four stars, but still a recommended read. <<less

Great novel, had lots of laugh hahaha so funny and love the romance. Not too heavy of a drama and not dragged to long. Pacing is good for me, this type of novel is what I like the most. Thanks to the translator for the wonderful translation and efforts!! I've already read his/her other completely translated novel and its good too!! Highly recommend!!

Oh god, meant to give it a 4/5.... but novelupdates just doesn't let us edit the star rating... okay, anyways, this was a not bad read? average but also made me laugh at certain scenes. The drama is somehow almost soap opera ish which I don't really like? However they get resolved quite quickly. One downside though, is that everyone has multiple titles/names, making it si confusing at the start. Interesting characters— and I mean, actually interesting with fantastic dynamics. And by fantastic, I mean both the leads are unhinged and this played off one another really well. ML and MC made me laugh to bits. Like I actually laughed, out loud and in public. Yes, I was wearing a mask but people could still tell.

Even the “canon fodder”— which, you can’t call them anything but canon fodders because they weren’t even really given names, just numbers— had their own little quirks and stories that were nicely tied up.

MC kneww that our ML is a yandere and he gradually fell for him anyways... there was no unnecessary angst or whatsoever... ML chased after our MC and omg there was this one scene it was soo funny I can't😂😂😂😂 the bro and the father of our MC thought that they did the deed on a grass patch😂😂 hahaha

AND I WANT TO ADMIRE OUR ML... HE LEAVES NO ROOM FOR ANY TYPE OF MISUNDERSTANDINGS... ITS SO GOOD TO READ!! even though he has yandere tendencies he is super loving and caring... besides I totally agree with our MCs half sister😆😆

I like this novel a lot! Not only are all the characters really well developed and fully fleshed out, the plot is surprisingly deep for a simple transmigration story. Additionally, this is the first time I've read a novel with a black belly ML who is genuinely willing to give the MC up, if that's what he wants. Very sweet!

Really good. Highly recommend.

MC is smart and funny. ML is really great too.

- this is a refreshing mature novel without the generic chinese black and white worldview where MC is pure white all the time.

this book makes everyone human without entirely bad or good impressions without making light of their crimes. Like for example the abusive dad.

- the MC is also really smart unlike generic dumb naive mcs, he noticed ML wanting to ask him out and was like aah, hm lets sound him out

i wish the author wrote more and more translators picked up their books

I'm really looking forward to this. I love how the MC took good care of other people, not to OP! He's the whole reason why I'm willing to read this!! Although the ML already shows his possessiveness in the recent chapter, I just hope he won't be too overbearing ahhh.

UPDATE: Had to MTL the rest of its chapters, although it's quite confusing I kinda get the story's point. Regarding with the ML's personality, he's not a bad guy actually. So different from what I expected. I love their relationship... more>> and chemistry. <<less
