Honestly I really loved this. It was funny and sweet. The novel just has so much personality and life to it. If I was a novel, I'd definitely be Love Stops Rumors. I love the misunderstandings, I love the teasing, the smut was also very full-filling. I really love Romcoms but I've rarely read one that hits all my favorite kind of "funny", But this one hits the spot head on.

im just gonna say THIS IS THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE EVER READ IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I kept expecting the humour to eventually die down or things to get serious (and they did at some points?) BUT EACH CHAPTER MADE ME LAUGH SO HARD I CRIED.

I started this without any expectations but totally LOVED IT!!!

Its super fun! The story starts when the main character thinking that he has a dormitory room only for him this college year but fall with a ton of sneakers and fall in front of his naked new roomate exiting from the bathroom.

His girlfriend was just entering in the room in that exact moment so thought they were having s*x and now all the dormitory thinks they are a thing.

This is the first of A LOT misunderstandings that would make everyone... more>> to think they are boyfreinds !!

There are short chapters full of comedy and very sweet love story!!

If you need a good mood this is so perfect!! <<less

Cute cute cute!!!

This is a fluff story 100%! A very nice light read and super short, but the romance is an uphill battle (jk) ! It's a good pace but the nsfw scenes aren't too long HAHA so if that's what you're here for then it isn't too... much 😅 But yes! Very good and nice 10/10 would read again! Only wish is that there would be side stories/an epilogue to see what happens in the future :')

It's alright - relatively amusing and a bit sweet. Reminds me of Don't You Like Me?, although not as good. Very simple story with few surprises. Good if you want a short, relaxing read with cute moments.

Cute and entertaining for a short story. The MC and ML are good together, no family drama, only conflicts really is them being misunderstood to begin with

I would have liked to see more of their falling in love, kind of seemed like the ML just fell for MC out of nowhere. There was some mention about how MC is sweet and caring to others, but it wasn't shown much in the story.

I also wish there was 1 or 2 extras, it kind of just BAM ended.

Fun short reading! Cute easy reading! Ridiculous stress free reading! Well written for its purpose... keep one's mind light I guess... that's how I felt when finished this novel... all came out unbelievably easy. I like how the relationship evolved... candid, open, quite honest... mixed with comedic misunderstandings. Enjoy!

p.s. can't understand the cover picture though... not cute

This is a short, funny, and light-hearted story! After finishing a mind-blowing novel, this certainly helped ease my nerves a lot due to it being amusing.

Early chapters were humorous as heck, I can't stop laughing at 2am lmao. The misunderstandings between them seems unlimited. Although I got stressed w/ Mc's personality near the end, him being dense and cute was making up for it.

MC and ML's interaction was full of tension, they suit each other perfectly! Ending is super sweet too ugh.

Recommended for just light read to pass time. UwU

very nice, very nsfw since they're talking about dicks all the time

its so refreshing to see the side characters don't really mind them being gay, there's not much hate in the school or family

it was ridiculous at times but it can be excused for being a comedy, also the author knew not to drag it out, props

This novel is definitely worth to read. It is funny as hell. You won't fail to laugh at every chapters of it. The MC is so silly and hilarious 😆 Their story is also cute. It's short and full of fluff. Their parents are also very open minded and even pushed the two of them to be together 💕 I hope everyone in this world are like them. It's just that I think the ending is uhh kinda rushed? Not enough? I'm not so satisfied by how it ended. I... more>> wish the author added the scene or even just a glimpse of what they would do when the two of them go to Venice. But it's fine, it's just a short fluff comedy novel after all. I recommend this novel for those readers that were stressed on the novel they are reading or just had read, it will make your heart feel happy and comfortable. 😊 <<less

Wowwww, so cute and fluffy ahhhh!!!! So cute so cute... okkk, gotta stop now, so Love Stops Rumors is a story where the relationship between the two characters is constantly being misunderstood by everyone around them, so it's super funny, and whenever you read the title of each chapter, you'll actually be anticipating on how whatever the title would unfold, so yeahhh super super funny and exciting, oh mannnn

Their love tho is super super cute and fluffy, and "Life was too short, falling in love with one person was enough"... more>> could prob sum up their relationship, so yeah its so cuteeeeeeeeeee

Anyways, this is full of intentional and unintentional dog food, so it's def a must-read!!!!! <<less

Incredibly hilarious novel, I love it so muchhhhhhhhhhh

This truly is genuinely funny, and I had a fantastic time reading it. I very rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to write one for this novel as I sincerely did enjoy it.

The main couple is honestly so cuteeeeeeeeeeee ^_^ I just want to squeeze them and have them be happy forever. They're so sweet and good to each other. I love how their feelings gradually developed through months of taking care of each other instead of their emotions being born out... more>> of the InstaLove cliche.

We all know that books founded on misunderstandings can get irritating really quickly, but this novel succeeded in creating the perfect atmosphere, never taking itself too seriously, so all of the gags and jokes land instead of breaking the reader's suspension of disbelief.

I would have honestly given this a 5/5 rating, but I feel like the last three chapters were shoehorned in by the author to create unnecessary drama before the finale : / Seriously, it would have been so easy to nip the problem in the bud, but the characters just had to have a sudden IQ drop in order for drama to occur.

Aside from the ending, some side characters and relationships felt underdeveloped, and the subplots involving them kind of felt either disturbing or as if they came out of no where or both.

Nevertheless, this is only meant to be a lighthearted comedy, so I won't degrade its score too much because of those flaws. 4 stars is really appropriate, and I'll give it an 8/10 in that scale.

All in all, it isn't perfect, but it was a genuinely funny and uplifting read. I'll definitely read Chapters 1-27 again. <<less

This one is a light read with characters who would rather communicate with one another than delve into unnecessary drama caused by misunderstandings. There is drama and conflict here (it will be a very boring story, otherwise) but it is not dragged out, which is very refreshing.

This is the Cutest, the Most Hilarious, the Most Sweetest, Fluffiest, Adorkable, Lovable, Beautiful Wonderful Novel and CP EVER!!!

Even with so much complains from MC, the MC and ML relationship always in Harmony !!! They have the best Relationship in any Misunderstanding Theme of Novel I have ever know!!! First, it's because the misunderstanding was not between them, but from outsiders' pov. Second, because they always being good toward each other. The MC being Mother Hen-like, the ML while at the beginning mentioned as Cold and Uncaring about the Rumors... more>> still being a good Junior to MC.

They're (mostly MC) even though troubled by the rumors, still being so close and friendly toward each other. Seriously in Harmony! This kind of thing is RARE AF IN ANY NOVEL OR ANIME/DONGHUA OR MANGA/MANHUA/MANHWA!!! This troubled but still very close toward each other that made the rumors keep happening.

The story is Pure Fluff and the s*xual Intimacy Moments is all HOT AF!!! ALL CONSENSUAL!!!

And the ending is Perfect in their kind of way. Perfect for this Unique CP at least. Though I do wish for more because this novel is just the best thing Ever!!! EVER OKAY!!! I LOVE THIS WITH ALL MY HEART AND MY SOUL AND MY ETERNAL LOVE FOR THE ETERNITY AND BEYOND OKAY!!!! <<less

It felt like reading those BL manga with like 5 chapters and 7 at most and I'm just sad there's no extras (´；ω；｀)

Ok back to the main point if you want something short to enjoy I recommend this 🤣 The main CP was pretty typical but it was enjoyable nonetheless with your classic side CP being a playboy top x slightly cold Tsundere bottom, the humor was funny and it was quite fluffy

Short, to the point, saucy. As long as you know what you're getting yourself into & haven't blinded yourself with fantastical expectations, this story is charming & cute.
