The way she does her work as a vicious female character without letting anything falter her- she knows what she needs to do and she does it professionally; she doesn't get attached to any character and she has no personal desires for them. It was a refreshing break for me, for once everything is so lighthearted- because of Ye Wei's personality.

Reading about the male leads falling in love with her instead of the female lead was enough to make up for my unromantic Ye Wei who only does her work in hopes of finally waking up from her coma in real world. But every ending of her characters in her transmigrations are always death.

Maybe because I haven't read that much sad novels that I ended up crying whenever there is a chapter dedicated for the male leads after her death.

Anyways, it seems after the hundredth chapter, Ye Wei's real life are finally coming into plot. Which is a shame, because I would love more worlds for her to transmigrate into- I don't want to finish this novel so soon.

I laughed, I cried, it was a surprise, actually. I didn't think this novel was going to satisfy me- I was expecting to just read a few chapters then drop it because of boredom. But it didn't make me bored. I quite liked the arcs, the author doesn't really make any characters that could be cursed as 'villains', instead every characters felt like human who has their own personalities.

Because I mtl'd this, there are times I just skipped over some dialogues and stuff, but it is pretty understandable and simple. There are times where the characters go "...!?!"

like that are pretty hilarious to me, I can imagine their deadpanned face but having an emotional crisis inside lol. If this ever gets adapted to manhua, I hope it won't have stiff art like most of chinese manhuas.

but for me the ending was a bit of a disappointment. I mean it was good but it could have been better. Her real identity was shocking. The real romance was bit lacking though but the stpry does not focus there, in fact I doubt there was something going on, its more pf a fan service so that she would not end up single or something. In fact, they aren't even on a relationship at all.

Everything has to do who Ye Wei was originally.

Ye Wel was the heroine of her own world, but thanks to a passer-by reader who fell in love with male protag, she lived the second life in a world where this passer-by took her chance to meet and fall in love with male protag. And because male protag had some things done that were influenced by the plot he fell in love with this passer-by woman. Although we as readers know damn well that Shen LingLing (passer-by) is not likable as a person, she always whines, always uncertain about many things, she always bends and argues at the same time, acts pretty selfishly actually, not really a heroine material. But male protag is unaware and this comes from the plot control over him. Original Ye Wei was also controlled in a way, since her position was snatched she started her road of vicious supporting female, but before she had car accident she regained the memory of the first life and was pretty heartbroken when knew that the man she spent a life with now is with another woman and is bored of her persuit. This is when Time Bureau found her for taking missions. When Ye Wei returned, she now felt nothing for the male protag when she found what was her past like, she was through several mission worlds by this time and was too aware of plot control, the unwilliness of the characters. So she returned and this allowed, mysteriously, for male protag to regain knowledge of what he is.

What I like about the ending the most is not coming together, this novel is basically no-CP one, but after awakening and enlightment, male protag realized that in both lives he also was influenced and getting rid off of it gave him a chance to be himself, completely free. The same freedom that Ye Wei achieved.

I pretty much don't like novels when a character needs to act a certain way, it's so limiting the plot and seeing characters that shook of those shackles kinda made me feel that it was worth it.

1. Usually the storyline is that the s*um MLs are actually fragments of the real ML's soul. But in this case, they arent at all! They're all really just some random MLs from different worlds. Each ML is a standalone case and has no real world connection to her.

2. You can say there is almost no romance btwn the MLs and MCs. Heck, they never even touched each other's finger. Its really all about the face slapping and revenge and I'm living for it.

3. The ending, so different from what I expected. MC technically had no end game except the kinda *True ML?* at the end.

she was the real rich daughter but was switched at birth. This story literally had almost no romance. It was a more family orientated arc but still made me cry like a baby 🥲

The male lead suddenly can think on his own instead of just following the plot line/plot force. The MC doesn't even end up with the ML! Like, after the MC left the ML in the previous arcs, we were always given the after story. But for the "real life" arc, IT JUST ENDS LIKE THAT??? And then WHO IS THIS PERSON JIANG FEI??? I am not reconciled. The ending was just horrible.

according to other reviews, it's a world hopping novel with no romance. Don't let the romance genre fool you. It's probably a good read, but I don't think my heart can take much pain lol. The tragedy genre is very fitting.

Last Arc aka MC's real world -

• There is a way out for everyone. I'm not a fan of MC's jealous cousin (Ye Xin) but I appreciated her character growth.
• The twist that MC is the original heroine of her world and that she was deliberately robbed. (Me love some isekai villainess content but the way Shen Lingling deliberately stole ogML from MC is just so wrong)
• Jiang Fei - he is so perfect for MC. I was spoiled so I already knew that he will be a appearing again at the last arc BUT I LOVE HIM!
• Zhao Xuan aka OG ML - He is not bad, he was technically robbed. I love how he handled everything with maturity

Zhao Xuan VS. Jiang Fei

The ending is open ended but it is heavily implied that Jiang Fei is the last ML standing LOL! I originally felt bad for Zhao Xuan since he was fooled and manipulated by Shen Lingling but when I think about it, I can't help but think that compared to Jiang Fei, his feelings are shallow.

Jiang Fei was not the ML in his og world. In fact, he is normal. He is rich, second born (overlooked) and lazy BUT he has foresight/awareness that all the other MLs from the other arcs lack. He understands MC in a deeper level and genuinely admires her. (Thank God he is not the type of guy who says "interesting~ you're the first one to-") Rather than guilt or cheap attraction, it felt more touching that he never really forgot about MC because he looked up to her so he recognized her when they reunited. :D

I just wished that there is more of a sure/definite ending though. Although the ending is consistent with the author's writing style, I wanted to see them officially get together :)
