I immediately started writing this review after reading the latest in the raws (as of writing: 19-06-25)

I was already interested in the gender-bent magical girl genre because I just finished reading "Mr. Magical girl", and I also recently started "off to work then, I became a magical girl". Although in this novel its not necessary a gender-bent, but more like crossdressing because he is still a man both mentally and physically. The MC is essentially just cosplaying as a Magical Girl.

Not only that, but the characters are also written with care: What they feel; why they feel; and also their individual motivations and principles are well established.

Overall its an excellent and worthwhile read, and lets just say there is a reason why I've become so motivated to write a review after the 54th chapter. <<less

Rating is subjective bias

So far the story is more about comedy, romance, and drama. The reason why MC hate transforming into magical girl alice have a lot implied meaning that tied into his trauma unlike in early chapter that used that for comedy. MC felt like unreliable narator to charactize himself

like no way MC is shaking non stop and instantly stop even hours after that even if he is scared other finding it out after accidentally touching his inner thigh but Its more because of his trauma. It felt like MC have connection with original alice death and he got ab*sed physically or sexually by magical girl in past 8-10 years

The character is likable, the world is believable and easy to read
