I feel so satisfied when he finally decided to cut off his relationship with his family but when his family met with difficulties, he still came to the rescue. What made me angry, his family only regretted their past action after knowing that ML was super rich but when ML needed them the most in the past, they mercilessly abandoned him.

Meanwhile, MC's parent was no better than ML's. Her father betrayed her mother and only provided her enough just to keep her alive. She paid her own tuition and living expense by working part-time but in the end, her stepmother snatched her hard-earned money for her half-brother (and her father consented to it). Her father finally regretted his past action right before MC got married. But so what? The damage was already done. As for her stepmother and her stepsiblings? Nothing happened to them. Her half-brother didn't even apologize for his past action until the end.

I also didn't like how the author still tried to pair Yan Ye and Shan Lithong after what he had done to her. Yan Ye was a sc*m and Shan Lithong really deserved better.
