I don't think I can write a proper review because how angry I'm. The ML didn't deserve her. He was a coward. And while she was very strong in moments, she was also a doormat for his cowardly love. Context: they dated and broke up—a very messy break up at that. It's not clear why he's so angry at her (implied she did something with his friend, but it doesn't sound like she cheated? I maybe missed it or they never explained it in this book and at this point, I didn't care if she cheated because MF literally wanted to kill her because he got so angry at her! I'm not kidding). Anyway, she's an actress now and he makes her a mistress Cx she needs money. Meanwhile, HE IS GETTING MARRIED TO A RICH LADY. It's confirmed. He gave consent. And she knows Cx multiple people tell her to be careful. For God's sake, her own mother went through something similar. Anyway, she, at first, is very distant and protects herself Cx she knows they are from different world and yada yada. But later, she succumbs to the power lurve mojo and just keeps sleeping with him even though she knows HES GETTING MARRIED! She even sees with her own eyes that he's having family dinner with his Fiance and setting the wedding date. At the end, they were just together until he gets married. And she leaves him before his wedding. I found her very pathetic but I guess a lot of people do that.

apprantly there's a second book. I skipped all the way the end of the book to see if she ends up with someone else because in the synopsis it was implied she does have someone else and I was so happy. Because yes, get her away from this toxic man. But it looks like that the ML married her. I cannot. Tired of people glorifying toxic love. The ML did worse things than what I described here. He loved his pride and reputation more than he loved her. His mother humiliated her multiple times and he just f*cking watched and wagged his cowardly tail and expected her to get over it! This man belong in jail.

and don't get me started on his best friend and her best friend. His best friend literally killed FL's BF (forced her to commit sucide) because her BF was his mistress. And ML knew and kept defending his best friend! Talk about tr*sh belonging together!
