After transmigrating into a beast world, Rong Mingshi discovered that the people of this world experienced widespread mania. For example, when their emotions were abnormally agitated, they would become destructive beasts. If their emotions were abnormally low, they would shrink into their young beast form.

There is a type of energy stone that can cure this but it must be hand-carved into the animal form corresponding to the beastman. The more realistic the shape, the better the healing effect and the higher the repeated utilization rate.

In his previous life, Rong Mingshi’s ancestors started as craftsmen who grew their business and became wealthy.

Then a small store suddenly popped up on the Star Network, selling several small sculptures made with superb skill. The effect of the energy stone to soothe emotions could be felt through the screen and stirred up a sensation in the entire empire. However, this store owner was super lazy…

Pretty good! I’ve tried to read this three times already (this was the third) and every single time I failed to get past the first chapter lmao. This time I made it through! It’s a very cutesy, futuristic novel. Nothing too complicated. You have a pure and talented shou and a possessive and stoic gong — you know, your typical dynamic. The MC is the shou, and he starts off the story as a little leopard. It should be noted that this is his second life, but his first was... more>> very limited because of illness. The only thing notable that he did in his past life was learn how to carve, which translated to the needs of this current era.

More specifically, the main “problem” in this story is that the Beastmen will fall into mania without a properly carved energy stone to guide their energy. Present carving practices have not managed to catch up and many Beastmen continue to fall due to mania. The MC’s arrival ushers in hope as he creates very effective energy stone carvings.

Again, it’s all very simple! The external plot is more of a side thing. So the main focus is exploring carving and stuff. I liked it, though I can’t say it’s of very high quality in terms of character or plot development.

CHARACTERS: 6/10

Nothing too complicated, but relatively charming.

Rong Mingshi (MC)

Little Leopard Shou! Very innocent, childlike persona.

Aojia (ML)

Typical stoic ML! He’s a black dragon Beastman, and also a marshal.

ROMANCE: 6.5/10

ML falls in love at first sight (?) or finds the MC charming at first glance. And MC slowly comes to depend and trust on ML. It’s all very simple stuff.

SETTING: 7/10

I found the setting interesting but a bit lacking when it came to detail. The author didn’t explain why some things work and why other things didn’t. Basically, the magic system all very wishy washy. The world was still interesting, don’t get me wrong! Just don’t expect realism.

PLOT: 7/10

As someone crazy for novels with poor-to-rich developments and crafting elements, this one just so happened to hit some good points for me. But it might not be the same for you!

PERSONAL ENJOYMENT: 7/10

It should be noted that I’m having trouble reading without distraction recently because I’m currently 75% in writing mode (yay nanowrimo). This novel, with its uncomplicated plot and characters, was just the right story for me at this period. So enjoyment was not bad despite my so-so feelings on it!

RATING: 3.35/5

An altogether, not bad read! If you’re looking for a casual story that’s not too brain numbing, then this is a good, self-indulgent kind of choice. <<less

Too flat...

I tried to give it a chance but I'm tired of the descriptions of the carvings he's doing... can we have some story building... some characters development? till ch 30 it is so boring...

Can anyone explain to me why ML is so obsessed and in love from the very beginning? Like why there is no actual relationship development... it basically happens without a reason...

Another novel with high potential and high ratings... that is just nothing special...

I wanted to give it 2.5 but since I couldn't I gave it 3... just for the cute MC and the concept... writing is also not that bad its just the storyline is too disappointing... TT_TT <<less

You want fluff??? Say no more! I gotcha fam! (͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°) If you're looking for something deep or serious plot then it's better for you to look somewhere else. Lol This is pure fluff, no conflict or drama, although the backstory of our MC is a little sad (I've seen worst, btw), it's not too bad imho. He met our ML from the very first day he transmigrated. The fluff starts reallllly early, I mean seriously early.

The MC and ML's interaction are just so adorable, ML's a doting... more>> partner and not your usual cold and as*hole type. Also just be aware that most of the time, the story revolves around the MC's carving talent, which I really don't mind, but it might get a little boring for some readers. I like their relationship because they understad each other and it's a give and take relationship. 🐉❤🐆 The extra chapters are the cutest, ugh! Their twins! Anyway, try a few chapters first if it's your liking, if not, then don't waste your time. Depending on how fast you read, you can do this in one go. <<less

I didn't read this novel for the longest time since I thought it would be boring, but it was actually pretty good. MC is a somewhat innocent cub-like adult who got thrown into a beast world. But his world-view is childlike, and he mostly just wants to carve and take care of ML who was nice to him. ML is essentially a strong and protective mother hen. Relationship wise the progression was kind of childish, but I view this novel more as a fluff novel. It's cute, relaxing and makes... more>> you happy. Interesting world-building and context, but otherwise weak and expectable plot. "Baby" snow leopard x military black dragon (both shapeshifters). Good for an adorable and relaxing read. <<less

I dropped reading it halfway through. It just became really, really boring.

MC and ML are cute, they're great together, ML isn't abusive nor aggressive and MC accepts everything he gives him without being scared of feeling thankful or of admiring him. But that's it. There's no relationship progression, their interactions are sweet, everything is fluffy, and nothing changes.

I just realized I've had enough.

The story is quite carelessly written, nothing serious to wait for. The whole thing about rocks is interesting and fresh, but this idea is wasted by not being... more>> vividly described and not having strong structure wich would make the reader feel into it.

Side characters are just there. I have no more word to say about them.

The plot is highly predictable, but everything goes slow and leaves a feeling that nothing actually happens.

In conclusion, this novel just felt really fluffy and actually empty. I genuinely enjoyed those 60 chapters, but I see no point in ever finishing reading to the end. <<less

Meh, it's a really boring book. One of those stories where the MC has that one convenient skill that's super useful/make him stand out in the new world he ends up in. Romance is bland as dishwater (and also weird AF due to spoilers, see below). And the actual merchant part is basically just a random part that I suspect is only part of the plot so that people online can gush over the MC.

The most frustrating and weird part of the story is that the MC is a baby white tiger cub most of the story. Yet he somehow gets the ML to fall for him (tho he can't speak/barely learns to speak in his cub form), and creates intricate carvings (idc how advanced tech is, I cannot suspend my belief in this). As a result, The MC has very little personality to me.

When he does finally turn into a human somewhere around chapter 40 something, it's only for a brief bit (like minutes?) and then he's back to being a cub. Rinse and repeat that a few more times. So you're basically reading the "romance" between a tiger cub and human for most of the story.

The online shop was also bullshit. He wasn't lazy, he just only wanted to carve stuff for the ML. The shop itself was just used as a forum space by his admirers so they could fawn over his skills.

Haha, the shop owner isn't really lazy, he's just too in-demand and knows his priorities. He cannot just easily let others do his job tho, his creations are really OP it's hard for others to reproduce it.

He never got the chance to sculpt since his sickness prevented him to work in long hours. It's regretful that he has enough talent to even be the craftsman family heir but I'm glad he was given 2nd chance when he transmigrated.

My only dissatisfaction is the end and the extra chaps. I wish the bonus earth mini series featured his original family and I kinda want to see his grandpa witnessing that his poor grandson is now cured and happy with life. But I guess that's just me and my dog blood loving self. <<less

This is a really cute novel. It starts out as a pretty funny story with an interesting premise (a beast has to learn how to carve energy stones so he can become human again). It does become a bit wish fulfilling and pure fluff towards the end, but overall an enjoyable read. I like how all the side characters are relatively developed - especially the intelligent housekeeper. I wish the extra provided a bit more resolution on the leopard's original earth family.

Finished it! The plot is kind of bland and more slice of life but it is a good read if you just need to calm down after reading something too emotionally charged or crazy. It's pretty chill, no crazy drama or misunderstandings. Does drag on a little and get a bit boring later but the translator is amazing.

Maybe for some people this story lack of plot but for easy read and on the fluff side, this one is really nice. If you are searching for dog blood, dont read this one but if you searching for fluff, this one is good.

There isn't much drama and conflict. It mostly focused on MC carving his stones. MC and ML's interactions are really sweet and fluff.

The near ending was seriously rushed though that a lot of loopholes were created.

The slow building up of his potential from the start, but then suddenly, towards the end, he just needs to drink wine and everything's solved. Or that peace treaty/ impending war with the Zergs was resolved so easily with a few of the ML's words. Or that motivation of the MC to earn money, by the end he was squandering his savings on a drunken online shopping spree and then (to solve that issue) turns out he co-owns the mining planet. There's a few more but just go read it yourselves.

Recommended for light reading. All fluff. Just ignore the loopholes. <<less

This is a super cute fluffy work glad it is being translated so other people can enjoy. The interactions of MC and ML is so funny and sweet. I love how obsessed he is in carving ML animal form all the time especially when he gets drunk. The author earlier works are very rushed and I like how in this one she did the pacing better. Overall really good read.

Slice of Life vibes with a very sweet main couple. MC is a little dumb but in a nice way and ML generally let's him do what he wants while protecting him along the way. I found the sculpture carving background theme unique and cozy. Worth the read if you're looking for something calming and to turn your brain off to.

I thought Aojia was fine, but Rong Mingshan was too much of an adolescent. There wasn’t enough depth of the characters. None of the side characters were really fleshed out either.

Romance: 3/5

... more>> The MCs were fluffy but I couldn’t get behind the age gap. Even if the age gap wasn’t that much (because it was never explicitly defined), liking someone who acts like a kid as a full grown adult is WEIRD.

Plot: 3/5

There was never any true conflict in the show and when they’re was it was resolved too easily. This made it boring to read. <<less

I actually... enjoyed this?

Make no mistake, if you're looking for tension or anything other than a supremely relaxing read, you are in the wrong place. The few occasions towards the end of the story where I worried we might get a predictable but tense kidnapping (and obligatory rescuing before anything bad happened) turned out to be nothing. Read the beginning, and if the ease with which the MC gets everything bores you, don't proceed.

The only downside to me was the romance??? It happened too quickly??? I thought the MC had... more>> just started warming up to the ML but suddenly they were together??? Especially as the MC cannot actually speak at this point - idk what the ML fell in love with? The MC's physical cuteness? It seemed like a missed opportunity for the author to develop their relationship more before they confirmed they were mutually in love.

Don't really have any other complains. The world suffered from the same lack of fleshing out that most interstellar stories do, but that's par for the course.

If, like I was, you're wondering when the MC gains his human form:

It's a gradual process but it takes longer than you'd expect. Expect him to be a snow leopard cub for at least half the story - though I'm not complaining.

Secon time reading since I kinda forgot first time.

This story is set in futuristic world with MC and ML being OP and just enjoy life. It features cute beastman and stone carving. Story itself isn't complicated, villain was solved very quickly without any fighting power.

What I love the most about this story is actually the robot housekeeper. Baba is just so funny. It's the first time I read a story where two AIs can tangle together and create a virus son lol.
