After transmigrating into a beast world, Rong Mingshi discovered that the people of this world experienced widespread mania. For example, when their emotions were abnormally agitated, they would become destructive beasts. If their emotions were abnormally low, they would shrink into their young beast form.

There is a type of energy stone that can cure this but it must be hand-carved into the animal form corresponding to the beastman. The more realistic the shape, the better the healing effect and the higher the repeated utilization rate.

In his previous life, Rong Mingshi’s ancestors started as craftsmen who grew their business and became wealthy.

The storyline is interesting enough, and the MC and ML are a match. Overall, this story is for those who love fluff, not so much complicated plots, soft and talented MC, and strong and powerful ML, with cute children too. 4.6/5 ⭐️

This is honestly just a relaxing read. There isn't much to it, but there's a lot of fluff. There are adversaries, but even that is short lived. This is more focused on the "slice of life" aspect where the MC (Rong Mingshi) and the ML (Aojia). Lots of fluff. Can't say that this was without its plot holes as I'm still relatively curious about their later life and how everything is resolved. The writing also could've been better. A lot of the main conflicts were something glossed over, and some... more>> plot points were just very sudden and didn't fit with the story. If we're speaking objectively, the plot wasn't very good. But I thought the main couple was so cute. I did enjoy some of the face slapping, though. Overall, this was pretty enjoyable/entertaining. It's a pleasant read if you're looking for something like this. If not, there are tons of better stuff out there to use your time on. <<less

Not what I was expecting at all based on the summary and title. I guess the author was trying to be numerous, but it actually caused me to hesitate over reading this novel for a long time. But I finally bit the bullet and it was worth it.

MC and ML honestly don’t have any troubles at all. While there is plot, ML is so powerful that it makes the plot redundant. It reads more to me as a fluffy story as opposed to a plot story. There are some things... more>> mentioned in relation to the big baddies that’s pretty dark, but it’s also glossed over so again, pretty much a fluff novel, which I am not mad at. <<less

Overall

I am satisfied at this point in the story. I'm not really interested enough to follow any political shenanigans. I feel like the HE is more or less alrd reached with the MC being able to stay human more now and he dealt with his dad and mum. He also got his business now. Admittedly, I’m also losing interest in the carving as well because there aren't any proper techniques that I can learn something new from. It's all using lots of descriptive language to show the results of... more>> the carving, not something more detailed. The growth from knowing nothing much to being amazing is also all over the place, and the MC himself isn't interested in going that direction anyway. He simply wishes to carve the ML and himself in order to reclaim his human body. Not much motivation to improve other than that.

The translation I read is from Rainbow Mushroom. The translation is pretty good with some minor spelling mistakes or missing words <<less

It's been a while. I forgot to leave a review. But I'm back now.

Anyway, I remember reading this, and it has good plot, nice fluff. I'm bad at making review. Anyway I liked it.

I remember reading another book, and realized they shared universe lol. I mean, the other book met this book's MC. The other book is also good, I forgot the title. Just search the author if u want.

Highly Recommend!

Super cute and fluffy story but not boring at all since it has a right amount of chapters and no draggy arcs. A little lacking but it doesn't hinder the charm of the story.

Its quite funny that the robot housekeeper acted more like a father than the real father lol. Just kinda sad that maybe the author forgot to let Rong Rong know that the housekeeper around is his "father" that he want to be safe. And I feel so single seeing the robot having a boyfriend (military data) and... more>> even got an unsolicited virus son.... Why don't I see anyone talking about this cute stuff? Hahaha

MC is super cute and talented that even in a beast form, he can be a master carver. I suspect he's actually not meant for Earth causing him that illness and his talent going to waste. I'm glad to see him finding his happiness and sense of security with ML. I guess the attractions of beasts is different so their feelings goes unnoticed under my eyes then they turn to like each other hahaha but its cute.

Just a little disappointed that MC almost stayed in his beast form most of the time in the story hahahaha. But he's really cute and thankfully this is a story about beastmen..... <<less

Already read this a last month and if you like some light and fluffy story then here it is! Chrysanthemum garden was also my fav BL translation group so they have done a great job translating this one! The plot was also easy to understand although they have quite a few drama here and there:

[but due to ML’s halo it was solved easily.]

Overall, the plot’s paced was okay and if you want to read or you are bored then u can try this one!

I liked it a lot... it was cute and fluffy with no angst... and lots of sweet moments... a light and satisfying read and you won't be bored at all till the end... very cute ❤ thanks to the authtor and the translator for bringing us this piece of gem 💎 🙌... Chrysanthemum Garden is one of my fav TL groups ever!!!

Honestly just a really wonderful short read. It didn't leave me feeling like I wanted more, everything was just right. The title does come about because of some misconceptions but that's okay. I saw a review saying that the MC doesn't seem to interact with the ML much. That's not true. You don't have to spend 24 hours with a person, especially one who already knows your feelings and returns them. We do have our sticky characters in novels and I would say these 2 can maybe be considered a... more>> bit sticky. But even the time they spend apart, they're thinking of each other. I say read it for yourself. It's a really enjoyable read. <<less

At the start the story seems interesting and original, I really like it. I don't mind the descriptions of the carving process, but when the MC is carving the black dragon it just feels so boring and repetitive. I might not be in the mood for this kind of story right now, I'll try to reread this later

I read the whole novel and am actually glad that I did that without reading the reviews first. Like everyone has said this is a very fluffy novel, and the interactions were honestly very cute, yall say that "oh I wish there was no abusive ML " but then u get bored when u dont read something like that..... at least that's what I understand from everyone who rated this below 3 stars.....*sigh*

Anyway this is basically just fluff, like cotton candy. After reading a very heart wrenching novel, or a... more>> sad novel you should read this novel, the fluff will make you feel a lil better. DO YOU LIKE READING ABOUT ROCKS???

As many people have mentioned, this novel has a pretty large amount of fluff in it, but there's maybe 2-3 times more rock talk than there is fluff. If you were to skip rocks, this novel would be significantly shorter.

This novel is just okay. I enjoyed it a decent amount, but there really isn't much substance to the story. The MC is not entirely cookie cutter because he at least has a backstory and is lazier than most MCs. The ML is your typical protective,... more>> stoic, doesn't-talk-a-whole-lot gong. There are definitely meng moments, but there was never any development to MC/ML falling in love, so it's a bit lackluster imo. The ending/extras also confused me a lot. I would honestly give those last few chapters 1 star.

If you've become tired of reading plot-heavy novels and don't mind wading through paragraphs of rocks and animals characteristics being carved into said rocks, you may like this one. <<less

Rating: 4.5 For me (all because of the fluffy, meng and Awwwww moment)

This novel is mostly about Meng/Fluff moments, Gems Carving, Meng/Fluff moments and the Beasts.

Well, I enjoy talent progression (step by step) of the character (like gems Carving in here) and that's why I really enjoyed this novel very much despite having pretty bland and plain plot with no heavy plot or drama. And also because I am pretty into beast stories and Beastality (๑ ˘ω˘ ๑)

It was a bit disappointing to see all the villians getting... more>> defeated very easily, even the main villian...... like they were fodder character. Well, I am not expecting it to go like those heavy plot novel but it would have been good if there were more to it.

The startingvwas bit odd to me. MC reaction to ML and their moments.... it was cute but like Seriously, I know MC felt ML familiar but he had an amnesia and ML was a complete stranger (that too an alien) to him. Even if you feel familiar with someone but doesn't know them, you won't get close to them in a sec and even follow them to their house, instead people would usually doubt why they felt the familiarness and they would either become alert and try to avoid them or They'll try to get close slowly. That's the reaction should be and not the way MC had. Author~san is so focussed on creating Meng/fluff that he kind of destroyed MC chara (as being smart) for me. Other than that I love everything, especially the kids

Lastly but sadly, despite coming under Yaoi genre there was not a single detail of Papapa ‪ (•̥ ˍ •̥) ‬. Nowadays even some of the shonen~ai genre give little bit of detail on papapa but this.... 😭😭😭

A novel full of fluff and nothing more. No drama, no smexy scenes, just rated PG. Very ok for kids! Overall it was 4.5⭐. It's a very straight forward novel and very easy to read, perfect if you just read some heart wretching novel.

The MC and ML are perfect for each other. Even though having a couple who is one a powerful person while the other is a rare genius of something is common, but I can't get enough of fluff, as long as the story is good!

My only concern... more>> was, as a programmer, my head was spinning while reading the 2 robot's interactions. From now on, I can't look at my database normally. Just kidding! I love the side couple!

Anyways, it's a light and good read. I recommend! <<less

As a lot of readers say, for someone out there who thirsts for fluff, sweetness, and meng characters, then this novel might be for you.

As for what I think, the novel started off pretty good. But as the story goes on, things got a little bit boring. Bland, even. Some of the side characters' development were quite disappointing (?). The villains got resolved pretty quick. And I feel like the ending's a bit rushed.

Don't get me wrong. I really, really like the novel, but the things I've mentioned above ruined... more>> the whole thing. Sorry about that. First half was good, the second half—resolution, ending was unsatisfactory.

One more thing. Might be a little spoiler-ish.

About the housekeeper.. Well, I guess I'm the only one on this who was expecting a different character, but ended up with a—sorry for the word—cringey robot. At first, his actions were funny, but as the story progressed, I was giving him a side-eye whenever he appears in a chapter. The author could've just stick with the fatherly figure without having an AI (?) for a husband and a virus as their son. Some might find this adorable and satisfying but not for me. Sorry about that.

If you're looking for death, despair, drama, and betrayal, look even further because this isn't it!

It's fluff, like what most reviews say. Lots of carving description which I mostly didn't mind because MC almost always had a special person in mind. The imagery of the carving was quite nice.

... more>> Unfortunately I did get a bit bored from about more than halfway until the near end.

The couple didn't have enough scenes together or there weren't enough paragraphs of them in domestic bliss.

It felt like reading a long distance relationship to be honest. <<less
