MC's other best friend comes to kill him for turning him into a zombie which causes him to eat his own parents. MC's best friend: oh you're gay I didn't know that! MC: I didn't either! Reader: oh haha so funny

This part is so dumb because MC could've prevented his best friend from eating his parents by telling him to not visit them, lock himself in an isolated place, etc. The MC already knew he could infect people through cuts from his fingernails.

The beginning? Catchy, I love this kind of stories, and the events are realistic, the way Zhan Bei Tian didn't really fell in love at first encounter or smthng, I love Mu Yi Fan's antics and sillyness. The messiness of the plot lol. Altho it was really annoying when characters/villains kept on reappearing cause MYF can't bear to kill them but I guess it's acceptable, after all, he know the best abt those characters and he isn't really from that world so he doesn't have much hatred for people cause there is still a bit of distance in his feelings or smthng, one thing I kind of hope tho is for MYF to have taken advantage of his knowledge, of being an author, cause there wasn't much difference about him and other book transmigrators when he is an author rather than a reader, oh I guess knowing about the unsaid powers is the only thing that he got from being the author, I was a bit annoyed that he wasn't active much in the plot, like he neither made it fast or slow esp when ZNT became the zombie king but I later realized that MYF doesn't consume human/zombie cores so it's only real that he couldn't be zombie king faster, but I guess he's just enjoying his stay lol. I love how characters didn't suddenly love him cause of his change and that they are still suspicious of him esp with his identity there. I love the relationships with the family, I kind of realized that family and daily life was really important here in this novel and it actually made me feel a bit closer to them. There wasn't much fight fr, so MYF and ZBT didn't really get to show their OPness and I actually think that the villain, Zhan nan tian, is too overly powered? I mean in their last fight, he was supposed to be injured but he still got to survive for so long against both MYF and ZBT when these two people are really OP. Rong Xue and Yi Hang are just plain annoying, they are just twisted and crazy person who doesn't wanna live lol. MYF end in the book is really sad and I was surprised cause this whole novel really got me laughing most times and it really made my mood better but I can't believe it can also break my heart that much 😭. Defeat cancer!! It was really sad, with Mu Qing Tian and ZBT, the words he said to MYF was really heartbreaking.. Then there comes the reality, I love it, it is so satisfying, ZBT book and reality are both loveable and Mu Qing Tian is BACK!! Btw lol with how the seed in the space really became a human HAHAHAHA MYF could have had a real large family in the book if he had the chance lol, the ending was satisfying, I feel so happy =))

For the character:

Mu Yi Fan, I love him, his dorkiness, his go with the flow (even if it was annoying sometimes), his realization of his love for ZBT, his sexyness, him seducting ZBT hahahaha, his OPness and mindfullness. Apart from the incident with zhang zi yue he was pretty cautious. His pregnancy lol, when the others told his story to grandpa hahahhaa, and when he gave the CD to his grandpa and the way he came out, it was just HAHAHHAHA poor grandpa. I love him, he is so funny and I just love him, he deserve so much <3

Zhan Bei Tian, I love his realness, how he really hurt MYF despite knowing he was mu mu and all of his actions in the beginning. Honestly, even I would fall in love with our mu mu. His sweetness to mu mu, his care for family, he's just really perfect. His respect for mu mu's wish regarding Zheng Jia Ming and Zhuang Zi Yue. This is what I like in BL, cause they got equal respect for each other, and both have the same control in the relationship, unlike in girlxboy, sometimes the story would just be the girl carrying the boy or the boy carrying the girl, there's a feeling that someone loves someone more/ cares for someone more. With MYF and ZBT, they are just 🥰✨

The other characters are also good, Gao Fei and his gang, Wang bing is appreciated separately HAHAHAH, Mu Qing Tian our lovely, clingy, baby. Liu Yi even if he was only there for a short while but he gave strength to ZBT. Zhan Family an Mu Family's reactions are realistic and their filial peity, even the book MYF has it. Shu zi hao and the gand with their realistic feelings and treatment to MYF. Zheng Guo smthng, who had an appearance in reality hehehe. I love them all, and I'm gonna miss them

One thing that was never explained was Zhan Bei Tian's space. I thought it was inherited since Qing Tian bead is an heirloom but not a single person in his family from father to grandpa knows that it's anything beyond a bead. Like...??? He's the only person in the whole world who has a supernatural thing before the apocalypse?

Zhan Nan Tian ended up being my favorite/most memorable character in the novel despite being the enemy haha. He's just so fun. Not saying I like his morals but he's just very interesting whenever he appears. Maybe because he is somewhat key to advancing the plot and the new information he brings to the story.

On the other hand, the other antagonists just feel one dimensional, like your typical c-novel villains. I wish they were written in a different way instead of being so braindead. Maybe it's because our silly MC is the one who wrote the original novel. Maybe they were meant to be that way ¯_ (ツ) _/¯

Like why was the stepmom so mean from the start? Wouldn't it be more logical to manipulate Mu Yifan by being nice to him? Or maybe she already tried that and Mu Yifan didn't buy it. So she gave up on winning him over and just wants him gone (while maintaining surface peace). But I still don't get why she wouldn't want to treat Mu Yifan well. MC gave up Mu Yifan's shares. MC never harmed her or her son. MC can help her and her son. It's more beneficial to have a good relationship than a bad one? Maybe the original Mu Yifan wasn't that good either. He didn't like the "homewrecker" and a younger brother so he dealt with it immaturely or something. So it started from there.

Anyways I just wish it wasn't like this. Maybe I'm biased because I don't like drama or dog blooded plots.

Also there aren't any good female characters. They are either evil or just npc side characters like survivors or relatives.

There is the original female lead but she just gets pushed to the side... The story barely mentions her even though she was so close to the ML in his past life. Even if ML loves MC now, shouldn't she still play a key role in fighting?

This is a minor thing though.
