- 1) Boss Subordinate relationship
finished Aesthetic Formula a week or two ago before reading this novel. If you liked Aesthetic Formula + Omegaverse, you'll probably like this novel too. But I'm mentioning Aesthetic Formula bc of the boss/sub troupe. The MCs in both novels are quite diff.- 2) Equally capable MC+ML
Although the MC + ML have their own forté, they are capable at what the other party is good at (eg MC is also a good fighter despite being a secretary). Additionally, I really like how much the ML trusts the MC's abilities as well which let's them face potential dangers together (vs in some novels where the ML would just face the danger alone bc they don't want to put their MC in danger)- 3) Tension bw the MC+ML
although it takes a bit for them to get together (hence the slow romance tag), it doesn't actually feel that long because you can feel how strong their chemistry is and you know as a reader that they care for each other a lot but they're only missing this realization themselves. The MC+ML are basically acting like a couple without realizing it themselves (also probs why everyone is always shipping them lol)- 4) Hint of mystery (about the MC+ML)
won't say any details bc it would be a spoiler but I like how it was sprinkled out in the novel and it lets you further understand their relationship/them as an individual. Kind of feels like a cherry on top.- 5) One of my guilty pleasures is a soft MC but for the most part of the novel, the MC here is the exact opposite (but not in a bad way). However, (spoiler)

What I would say that would make it even better:once the MC gets marked, his "omega instincts" come out and it is really cute how dependant he is on the ML during his heat period and how the ML says he doesn't like "delicate omegas" but is whipped af as soon as he sees the MC display those characteristics
- 1) I wished the "villains" were stronger
Although there were moments of tension in the novel, I feel like you knew at least subconsciously that the MC+ML would always have the upper hand- 2) Netizens commentary
If you read entertainment setting novels, you know there are often paragraph sections filled with comments from netizens. This novel also has that but luckily it isn't too much and you can easily scroll past them. However, some of them are fun to read.
