The storyline is awesome! This is a good slice of life type. I have a huge expectations in terms of plot and I hope I won't be disappointed. This exactly makes me more and more hungry and I look forward to read following chapters.

CUTE!!

Characters: 5/5

MC is rational and smart, he's very talented but it doesn't feel like his golden finger is overpowering. I like the way he calmly handles troublesome situations and his expert relations with people in the messy industry. ML is so awesome, I'm in love with this character. SO funny and cute, just too mengmengmeng. Their relationship is really funny, it's built slowly although started by "fate"; they bicker and tease and it's just too cute. Side characters are also very good, only chapter 30 so far but I feel... more>> like all the characters have been developed very well.

Plot: 5/5

True to story. Better than I thought it would be from the synopsis. Basically, MC accidentally took a photo of the mu*der of a Film Emperor. Suddenly he travels back in time to when he was a student, and meets this Emperor himself. MC mostly takes it in stride, but there is some questioning of "why was I sent back in time" and we see them building a relationship amidst family and industry drama.

Frankly, it's great ! I love this "fate" between the MC and ML. The rebirthed MC can't escape... I guess that he as reborn because fate remembered too late to match them. You can only say that betweek theses two, it's fat... ality !

The ML said it himself that the MC was sent to be his golden finger. They are such luckywarm to each other !

I really recommend this novel. I never met more cuter ML and he is a professionnel misery's seller ! You can only love him !... more>> And the MC, well, you wish him patience. <<less

OMG! It must be one of the best BL novels I have read, humorous language, flow plot with twists and turns. He Bai’s life is so dramatic. He becomes a rich person for winning lottery, six million RMB in his bank account. Then, he experiences rebirth and only has six hundred RMB. Haha... I feel bad for him! So hilarious!

This story is not your typical rebirth story where the MC is ab*sed to dead, then rebirth to take revenge on the ab*ser.

It's like the title said, a useless rebirth. The MC just suddenly rebirth with no clear purpose whatsoever. But he meet ML in this new life and might have been indirectly helping ML to move on with his life and career.

MC and ML personality balance with other, where MC is more of a sunny personality and ML is more of two-faced and white lotus kind of personality.

One of my favorites; doesn't rely too much on the cheats provided by rebirth or the ML. Although this story doesn't really provide a believable lifestyle (or work/job) of a photographer (nor an actor, for that matter), it's still able to express something of a love for photography and taking photographs and the fascination and passion for it. Not the best out there, but the plot and MC's personality is enough to make it stand out from all the others, or at least enough for me to remember some of... more>> the details from this work even a year or two after reading it.

I kind of have expected that MC's death had something to do with ML's death in their previous lives but I wasn't able to figure out exactly how it happened. It was explained close to the end, of course. The MC was just a collateral damage from the ML's family's infighting, and died after having drunk a poisoned/drugged (?) bottled drink that was meant for the ML. He died after presenting photographic evidence to the police that ML was pushed from the building (?).

In summary, with MC's rebith, he became the ML's lucky charm.

Unlike any other rebirth novels, He Bai, the MC did not have any unfinished grievance nor have any desire to face slap people. In fact, he thought this whole rebirth business as an annoyance at first and curse the ML (Di Qiuhe) for being whole trigger to his rebirth in the first place.

Instead, this novel tells the story about how MC and ML mets agian and again, and how the ML get fond of the MC and tries to chases him instead the other way around. In fact, it's really... more>> nice to read a novel where the MC didnt revolves around the ML for once, that He Bai have his own friends and dreams and life outside ML, and while his interest (photography) and ML's job as an actor can collide, its not always so. And the ML is not the typically cold, handsome and perfect ML we've seen in many BL novels, he's flawed and a bit immature. The whole romance between MC and ML is handled pretty well, with the ML chasing MC and MC falls in love slowly.

This novel is very sweet and lighthearted. The few antagonist the story have was quickly introduced and resolved by the story, and the supporting cast is okay but not very memorable as a whole. Its a quick and light reading, 4/5 stars <<less

Very good story. A little bit on the formulaic side, but I liked it just fine enough. A good read for when you are bored and want to kill time. Like others have mentioned there is a lot of face-slapping www. Very fluffy and sweet read for the most part.

Also: If you're reading for the NU linked chapters, you're going to have to turn off your adblock. It'll cut the chapters short if you have it on (likely due to the pop-up block function)

No rating bc I’m going to cut my losses and stop here.

The plot is not bad so far, the two leads are likeable enough, although ML sometimes randomly goes (adorably? Funnily?) crazy in text and IRL. MC’s photography skills is actually quite fun to read, and I would like to see him grow in his career.

However, I can’t take the translations from Kelly Translations. Thanks for the effort, but it reads a lot like MTL and it makes me sad because I feel like it could be a potential 4/5... more>> novel, but I struggle to understand the nuances in the characters’ interactions and how their relationship is developing (like it seems like there’s some attraction from ML, potential romantic tension? But I really can’t tell) because of the weird translations.

Would be happy to read this if properly translated please! I also hope ML is also reborn (but idk yet) and they both find out they’re both reborn (closed loops, no weird age gap please) and somehow actually have a prior link to each other, not just ML (a bit crazily) stalking MC because of unclear reasons (initial physical attraction?) <<less

Finishing this story really made me feel weird...

To be honest, I'm really confused about how to discuss this story. The first half of the story I can say this is one of the gems in the transmigration tag... But the other half made me rethink, I don't know, it felt as if the author poured a lot of problems and solved them on the spot.

This is truly a novel full of problems, a slap for cannon fodder, but in an epic way. I can say that it was very fast!... more>> Usually I hate stories with a lot of problems, but not with this novel, because the problems were really resolved quickly, there were no annoying misunderstandings...

Just like the storyline, our MC and ML characters also changed a bit. I liked them in the first half, and I only continued in the second half.

For 293 chapters. This novel really solves the problem and presents a satisfactory ending. They got together in the second half, and happily she's the next half...

4, 4/5

I don't know. I finishes this but I'm not fully satisfied. It's a good story because I managed to finish it despite the long chapters.

It has a good plot and nice enough storyline.

However, I'm not fully happy with this novel.

Idk. That's just what I feel. I feel giddy to the both of them though.

I finished reading this 2 days ago I think.

It really isn't as bad as what the other reviews say... If you actually finish reading the whole novel you will actually find it super sweet and endearing!! It's easy to find the ML a little annoying at the very start but fret not because he will be super sweet and caring to the MC later. Full of dogfood :)

I hate this... It makes feel so single TvT

The story is great and every characters are great! I love them all! Specifically Childish Di and Bai, they feel so alive... They are very 3dimensional of a character and you can't stop loving them.

There are areas that may be lacking but it's still a good read that makes me feel envious and happy at the same time.

hmm this is a novel that is just good when you just want time to fly. Nothing really stand out to me and this is just a good read novel.

about the ml, I don't really mind his childishness because that's his real personality considering his upbringing. Im just a little bit disappointed in the MC in the last few chapters because it seems like the ML spoiled him too much or the ML is just too good for him that his decisions are not considering the ml's feelings idk it's... more>> just my thought haha <<less

This is a cute romance story. I was hoping fro more dog blood drama and more about our main lead and male leads’s careers but got more relationship development instead. Overall it was still a nice story. The last side story arc was the best! Enjoy if you are looking for a slow romance with a hint of drama (the drama was so gooooooddddd).

Nevertheless its a good easy to read novel.

MC inexplicably reborn, not knowing why. He doesn't really have a regret or grudge to anyone, in fact before rebirth, he's on the upward of his career & life. MC & ML first meeting is the worst, ever, MC hate ML guts, ML think MC is a paparazzi stalking him. Slowly their relationship get better, MC is practically ML's golden finger. The ending is quite surprising, it turns out there is a reason for MC rebirth after all.

I like this story even if I sometimes feel like the ML doesn't deserve the MC who is a good guy.

There is enough family intrigue through the ML family side to keep the story interresting and not a complete slice of life story.

I feel like this story is a solid 4 and the translation is great.

Honestly I really love this book, I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for a few things that happened (I have a nitpick about the translation like they would use only part of the names at times and it was distracting). This novel is really good and I want more people to give it a chance. Don't ignore it because of a few negative reviews that dropped it early on. I swear it gets better and for the most part was satisfying.

It's a love story that didn't... more>> start as a love story, they antagonized each other a bit became really good friends/coworkers and eventually lovers. MC is reborn, so he's a 30 year old soul in his 20s body, he had settled into certain lifestyle/habits meanwhile ML is just in his 20s, not yet in a stable living. So they have different approaches to life, and it does add to their relationship. It's a slow burn and so much mutual pining, if it wasn't for their future manager I would have gone nuts. He makes them communicate better.

I get the negative reviews, I really do. At first I also wanted to drop it. ML was something... at first he's closed off a bit of arrogance, pretends to be gentle, basically wears a mask most of the world. Then he becomes annoying, childish and crude (I cringe every time I saw the phrase "girl with a big c0ck" during this catfish moments) his tactics were very much elementary school bullying your crush. But then something changes (I'm pretty sure it was around the time his catfish was revealed) and he was punished by MC, he had to prove his sincerity & changes gradually. He tries to be better for MC; serious to his work but also opening up to others, learning basic life skills like cooking, fully supportive of MC even if he doesn't like his choices (if they affect their time together). Like he matures for the most part but still acts a bit... hmm childish? Coquettish? around MC. But it's not as awful as it was initially, it only made their intimate moments sweeter.

MC is so good!! Like if you don't like ML at first, stick with it for MC. That's what I did and I'm glad I did it. So he's reborn, he doesn't understand why but he keeps meeting ML. So he thinks he could encourage him to have a good successful life and do his best to save ML from his young death. MC also has a life outside ML, he was a scenic photographer so he starts over in a different style and begins his photography career differently. He has a good relationship with his friends. His relationship with ML was rocky at first but they are equals in it.

It doesn't get too technically or too entertainment focused. The revenge was so satisfying and it's not just from ML, others had a hand and for good reason. Like the antagonist are fleshed out and not just cartoonishly evil. The Qins were probably the worst part of it. The extras were nice for the most part, the last one wasn't a favorite but I thought it was interesting and a little sad, a little maddening

MC got into accident, went to a parallel world? Dream? Where it was his past life but like still had time to he save ML. He's doing his best to save ML, reveal the many truths and heartaches, all while missing his husband because this version of ML is different. But he still falls in love with MC. And what I hated was when MC was like fall in love with this world's version of me, he'll be good for you. But like he fell for you!! The one with all this life experience and shared experience, not the lonely version of you. And it ambiguously implies that world's version of them were headed in that direction. I just didn't care for that part.
