Aside from maybe 5 chapters of the currently translated 14, "Peroroncino" really doesn't show up at all. This is mostly just Ainz's adventures plagiarized from the Overlord novels with the occasional cutaway to the other guy.

so it's extremely disappointing to see that this is all we got.

Even if you're starved for more Overlord stuff, I still wouldn't recommend this, as it's 70% word for word stuff you've already read in the light novels and 30% bland and uninspired harem nonsense.

Edit: So I've been keeping up with this, and it seems like my initial complaint of too much Ainz has been resolved, but now a new issue has cropped up and it's actually impossible to ignore: none of the characters act like they would in canon.

The scene where Shalltear was rezzed after being beaten in that duel to the death (which wasn't at all epic because the both of them together absolutely curbstomped Shalltear as opposed to the canon version where Ainz had a very real chance at losing, so there was actually tension, and lots of it) , when Ainz told her she wasn't to blame for what happened, she just accepts it and that's it. That was the start of a character arc that spanned all the way to volume 12 in the LN, yet here, that just isn't possible because this "author" just wanted to have a harem without any conflict.

That one is by far the most prominent example of this is issue, but trust me, it most definitely is not the only occurrence of this blatant mischaracterization in the name of a much more generic brand of power fantasy than what Maruyama's work is.

I guess if you're just a casual fan of Overlord and also like those utterly pathetic wish fulfillment isekai garbage, then I can very begrudgingly recommend this. For the much more invested Overlord fans like myself, I'd recommend slitting your wrists before ever touching this, as that's what it felt like reading all my favorite (and not so favorite) characters be bastardized just to jerk off this loser of an author's self-insert doucheweed. <<less
